The Coimbatore International Film Festival is an International Independent film festival.
It aspires to promote, recognize and support independent filmmakers throughout the world by hosting a variety of awards in order to provide
the best opportunities for filmmakers, helping them receive recognition.
We welcome submissions from a range of genres including short films, documentaries, features, animations and screenplays.
Our objective is to provide support for film-makers through reviewing, judging, marketing, and distribution networking.
We believe our film festival will give filmmakers a chance to showcase their work to a very wide range of audiences from many different parts of the world.
Coimbatore International Film Festival is based in Coimbatore, Southern Part of India, with our jury’s located around the world. All the films will go through a reviewable process by our highly experienced jury’s, who will go through an evaluation process and select only high-quality films.
The festival will provide up to 36 nominees in each category along with a winner per category. All nominees and winners receive laurels, certificates, trophies and the opportunity to have their films added to the Coimbatore International Film Festival website for global promotion and viewing as well as attending our live event.

Il People's Film Festival, un evento dinamico di tre giorni che celebra la Voice of the People attraverso il potere del cinema, dell'arte e della tecnologia. Il nostro festival si svolge dal 29 maggio 2025 al 31 maggio 2025 ad Harlem, NY, e presenta film provenienti da tutto il mondo.
Radicato nella convinzione della libertà di parola e dell'accesso ai media per tutti, TPFF è stata fondata nel 2012 con l'obiettivo di fornire una piattaforma per registi, produttori e creativi indipendenti per mostrare le loro opere in luoghi che possano elevarli al livello successivo. Negli ultimi 13 anni, TPFF è diventata nota come «The Voice of The People», una piattaforma straordinaria in cui i registi possono raccontare le loro storie a modo loro e avere un impatto reale sul loro pubblico.
La nostra missione non è solo ispirare i creativi e gli innovatori del futuro, ma anche esporre il pubblico di tutte le età a nuovi strumenti e tecnologie per la narrazione di storie. The Short Film Slam è un concorso bimestrale presentato da The Madlab Post che si concentra sulla fornitura di una piattaforma per i registi emergenti e affermati per mostrare il loro lavoro. Ogni round, una selezione di fino a dodici cortometraggi sarà proiettata per il pubblico locale che potrà votare per il loro film preferito. Il programma presentato a Cannes sarà quindi programmato durante l'anno in luoghi partner di istruzione e cultura: festival, musei, Centro di arti contemporanee, fondazioni, università, scuole... e questo nel mondo, in Europa e in Francia.

TRAS EL TELÓN is a project created by Asociación El Olivar, an organization with more than 25 years of experience in social matters, both in education & development and project management. Our main goal is to collaborate with solidarity causes through sociocultural activities, focused in the creation, production and representation of theatre plays for all the family. The fundraising from these performances goes to the work done at El Olivar.
In 2018 we started celebrating our FICITET with the aim of including the best audiovisual works for children in our programme, and we are repeating the experiencie in 2020: we open the call for entries for the second edition of FICITET - TRAS EL TELÓN INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL FOR CHILDREN.
La deuxième édition du Festival de Dreux organisé par l’association LES LUMIÈRES DE LA VILLE, se déroulera les 10 et 11 juin 2022. Il propose une compétition de courts-métrages dont les protagonistes sont des femmes, des masterclass de femmes engagées, des interventions d'associations et une remise des prix pour clôturer l'évènement.

The "DEEPWAVE Filmfestival for the Protection of the Ocean" is an all-evening event for students, scientists, stakeholders of marine conservation and the general public. It's for all those who want an intense dive into the sea, its beauties and threats.
We specialize in a highly curated choreography. While we love high-quality short films, our utmost focus is for all movies, invited experts and experiences to be connected and seamlessly flow together - in the spirit of our oceans and their inhabitants.
An example would be the film "DEEP TIME", where the film's creators Kirsten and Joachim Jakobsen could discuss and revel in the experience of deep-sea exploration with invited guests the likes of Dr. Antje Boetius and Dr. Rolf Koppelmann. But the setting allowed the dive into deep-sea mining ethics and the dark implications of shady politics and greed - when exploration turns into exploitation.
One of our favourite moments was when the central character of the film "REPICORE | Research in Melanesia" joined us on stage, Dr. Sebastian Ferse, and told us about the devastating impacts of coral extinction. The discussion with Dr. Götz Reinicke sparked hard emotions, as a nearly complete loss of coral reefs by 2050 seems likely - even if we stop polluting the climate now. But a feeling of community in the audience and the repeated assessment of all present scientists, that true change leads to true impact, turned it around.
Even the catering, provided by a local zero waste store, has been selected to nourish guests in a sustainable manner and was a welcome addition to the brainfood on screen.
I could go on: the opening speech of actor Frederik Götz about the importance of transformative fear, the visit from filmmaker Faye Meijer, etc. We hopely brought a strong memory to all guests and created some food for thought and reason to change.
We thank everyone for attending, everyone who went out there with a camera to return with a piece of art and last but not least all who helped make this possible, the team, our donors, every partner and all who were involved in the in-house production of the short film "ONNO".

We are looking for short length movies and videos of all genres about the ocean and its protection – politically, rousingly, enlighteningly, documenting, thrilling and to marvel.
The main topic this year will again be Coral Reefs and the Deep Sea (we will sadly have to make these a topic every year until they are saved), but we would like to include Climate Change as a topic that spans all else. And if you even have something about an often overlooked topic like Noise Mitigation we would be very grateful.
If your movie stars interesting personas who happen to live in a region accessible by train to Hamburg, we would love to invite them.
The festival is going to take place at the Lichtmess cinema. There is no entrance fee and catering is also free.
We are glad to inform you that 1st International Migration Film Festival will be held between the dates of 18th and 22nd of April 2020 in Gaziantep; an ancient city in Eastern Anatolia, famous with touristic sites such as Zeugma Mosaic Museum that is one of the most important mosaic museums in the world; Bakırcılar Çarşısı / Coppersmith Bazaar; Naib Hammam; Mevlevihane which is a dervish lodge next the a historical mosque, and also being one of the only eight creative gastronomy cities of UNESCO in the world.
The festival, which is planned to be traditional and repeat in a different city every year, is held by General Directorate of Migration Management under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey and is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. In this first year in Gaziantep, UNICEF also will be part of the organization, holding and awarding an international short film competition during the event.
International Migration Film Festival will mainly focus on films with themes on immigration, immigrants, refugees and cultural impacts of immigration, and plan to host over 500 guests both from Turkey and all over the world, including not only well-known filmmakers, journalists, actors but also representatives from government agencies and NGOs who work with refugees and immigrants in Turkey. The festival aims to draw attention to and raise awareness about refugees in Turkey of whom the numbers are increasing daily, and to create sympathy and understanding towards them via cinema.
Hosting 3,6 million Syrian refugees -about 60% of the whole- Turkey has the largest refugee community in the world and only 3% of them live in detention camps. Although Syrian refugees have overcome lots of initial troubles and settled down here in Turkey since 2011 when they first started to arrive, the cultural impacts of the arrival of are still visible
Festival will bring together the audience with the most qualified productions throughout the world and also, besides the competition excitement in Gaziantep, there will be a full cinema week with many events. During the festival, panel discussions, exhibitions, workshops -both on cinema and immigration / refugee subjects- and concerts will take place in addition to the film screenings.
Il Bastalavista è un festival di cinema di genere istituito ad Hannover (Germania) nel 2019. Il festival è fondato e gestito solo da due persone: Wiebke e Johannes Thomsen, i due proprietari e operatori del premiato cinema LODDDERBAST di Hannover, con 28 posti su 39 metri quadrati il più piccolo cinema al mondo e unico nel suo genere con cibo fatto in casa e più di 100 birre artigianali diverse.
A partire dal 29.05.2020 Bastalavista conquista il cinema LODDDERBAST per 17 giorni e oltre 80 proiezioni, presentando una variegata selezione di film di genere internazionale contemporaneo.

Sostenuto dalla prestigiosa Università di Zulia, siamo il festival di cortometraggi più longevo del Venezuela, organizzato dal Cine Club Universitario de Maracaibo dal 1981, a sua volta il primo ad essere istituito nel paese, nel 1962, prima della creazione dell'Archivio Nazionale del Cinema del Venezuela (1966).
Il nome del festival è stato scelto per l'importanza storica del pioniere Manuel Trujillo Durán per lo sviluppo della produzione e della diffusione del cinema in Venezuela, che solo 13 mesi dopo le proiezioni fatte dai fratelli Lumière a Parigi nel dicembre 1895, rese possibile l'esposizione il 28 gennaio 1897 al Teatro Baralt di Maracaibo, di due dei suoi film, un evento riconosciuto come la prima proiezione cinematografica in il paese.
STORIA:
Le origini della FMTFD risalgono al progetto elaborato dai professori dell'Università di Zulia: Gabriel Arriechi, Fernando Perdomo e Ricardo Ball, che con il sostegno incondizionato di Sergio Antillano, Rosa María Salom e Rafael Araujo organizzarono la prima edizione, che si svolse dal 28 al 31 gennaio 1981 in vari spazi culturali di Maracaibo.
OGGI:
Dalla sua 15a edizione nel 2020, il festival ha aperto le sue porte a opere e registi di tutto il mondo.
Series Nostrum è il primo Festival Internazionale di Serie nella provincia di Alicante. Dedicato a celebrare il mondo della serie in particolare quelli di carattere mediterraneo.
L'evento ospita tutti i tipi di attività legate al mondo della serie: proiezioni di anteprime, colloqui, tavole rotonde, conferenze, ecc Un punto di incontro per gli appassionati di fiction televisiva e i creatori di quel contenuto.
TRETS è un festival cinematografico organizzato dal CineClub La Ràpita che vuole, da un approccio cinematografico, mostrare l'identità e lo stile di vita di una città o di una cultura. TRETS 2025: cultura giapponese
Ortometraggi Film Festival è un festival di cortometraggi (documentari, animazione, fiction, video-arte) di sensibilizzazione su tematiche relative all’ambiente, al cibo, alla sostenibilità ed al rapporto odierno tra uomo e natura.
Ortometraggi Film Festival si svolge a Borgagne, un tipico borgo situato nella provincia di Lecce, tra gli ulivi e la costa adriatica salentina, e nasce dalla collaborazione con l’associazione culturale Ngracalati.
Il festival si inserisce nella cornice di Borgoinfesta, l’evento organizzato dall’associazione con cui sono condivisi gli stessi valori e obiettivi.
Un festival eco e plastic-free all’insegna della sostenibilità ambientale e della solidarietà umanitaria.
I due festival si intrecciano per dare vita ad un evento memorabile che apre le porte alla stagione estiva del Salento in cui le arti si incontrano e musica, fotografia, mostre ed esibizioni artistiche sono coronati dall’esperienza del cinema con la visione su grande schermo dei cortometraggi dei registi selezionati e da tanti prodotti tipici da assaporare.
L’edizione 2020 sarà un edizione speciale, di cambiamento in cui i registi partecipanti saranno messi al centro dell’evento e sarà dato rilievo alle opere e alle produzioni.

Il CalellaFilmFestival è un festival dedicato a tutti quei film a basso budget di produzione nazionale o internazionale, con l'obiettivo di premiare e promuovere film realizzati con pochi media ma con un alto valore artistico.
Il CalellaFilmFestival ha due sezioni:
Sezione «Low Budget»
I lungometraggi selezionati competeranno come migliori produzioni dell'anno in ambito nazionale o internazionale, con un investimento inferiore a 500.000 euro.
Sezione «Creative Rosebud Awards»
Concorreranno tutte quelle produzioni che nel corso dell'anno si sono distinte per creatività e originalità, sia nel campo della produzione nazionale che internazionale, con un investimento superiore a 500,00 euro.
