The 9th edition of SantangeloInCorto, short film review, is organized by the Sant'Antonino Martyr of Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi in collaboration with the Issa Oratory. The event will take place in August 2018 in Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi (AV).
The theme of short films is free.
Participation is open to works in any language, provided they are subtitled in Italian.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject works whose contents may be considered explicitly offensive to public morality and / or violating the rights of the individual or any other rights of third parties.
They can not participate in the Work Contest with a commercial use, though free of charge.
The previous participation in other national or international festivals does not preclude participation in the festival;

Semillero Green Film Fest 2020 es la 10º edición del Concurso Nacional de Cortometrajes de Temática Ambiental. Su objetivo principal es fomentar la creatividad y apoyar la realización nacional independiente de obras audiovisuales cuyo contenido esté referido a la temática ambiental.
El concurso posee dos categorías de participación:
SEMILLERO
Incluye a todas aquellas personas residentes en la Argentina, con domicilio acreditable en el país, o de nacionalidad argentina y que residan en el exterior, mayores de 18 años, a través de la presentación de una o más obras.
SEMILLERITO
Incluye a todos los niños y niñas de nacionalidad argentina de entre 5 y 13 años, que estudien en las escuelas de educación primaria de todo el país, a través de la presentación de una o más obras. Se podrán presentar también las escuelas primarias de todo el país, tanto de gestión pública como privada.

Films, that aim to encourage people, to scrutinise and re-examine their views and that are wary of human rights and responsibilities. this human world ‘s annual competition programme does contain films, that raise social awareness of human rights issues outside the framework of mainstream films and that focus on socio-critical themes. Who should submit?
KAFFNY invites filmmakers and artists of all backgrounds, from any country. Given our history, Korean, Korean-American and Korean – diaspora filmmakers are especially encouraged to share their works, but that is by no means required. Films from years 2017 and 2018 preferred.
What themes/topics/films are appropriate?
Any films, shorts, or documentaries which reflect the commonalities of humanity across cultural divides, highlight multi-cultural interaction, challenge existing narratives, or provide mirrors for people to reflect on their own culture through the experience of another.

2017 KAFFNY Festival
2017’s festival, held on October 14th at the Wythe Hotel Cinema featured five distinct blocks of programming that approached the topic of Infinite Culture through specific lenses: INFINITE FOOD CONNECTION, INFINITE FASHION CONNECTION, WORLDWIDE KOREAN CONNECTION, INFINITE MIGRATION CONNECTION, and CRAZY, RICH ASIAN AMERICANS. Alongside the screening of 25 short films and two feature-length films, the audience engaged in meaningful discussions with the filmmakers during the moderated panel discussions.

Transylvania Cinema Awards is a film competition with two seasonal events, reuniting cinema enthousiasts in the heart of Transylvania, Romania. The goal is to design a space where innovation and creativity fusion in order to deliver the best result to a new public.
We create an opportunity for filmmakers to get their films judged and let them compete with other filmmakers. We perform a comprehensive evaluation process and the jury of film professionals will only select high quality films. The festival will welcome all genres of films from all over the world. We expect to receive films with courage, unique voices and messages and a strong personal mark.
The competition is structured on two seasons, winter and summer, with an official screening event per each season. The best films from each category will be screened on the most beautiful venue of Targu Mures, a charming old city in Transylvania, Cinema Arta, a place with longstanding tradition for film lovers.
Cinema Arta has 3 screening rooms with a total of 340 seat capacity. Films can be screened in 2D/3D/DCI with Dolby Digital Sound.

The deadline for entries in the next autumn season is 1 September 2018 and the Official Screening will be held on 5-7 October 2018. Winners will be notified and published on the official site and social media pages of the festival after the screenings.

Promoviendo la permanencia de las culturas y fortaleciendo las políticas culturales de la localidad como mecanismo de participación ciudadana y comunitaria; apoyando de esta manera el desarrollo, exhibición y difusión del cine y las artes visuales en el municipio de Guadalajara de Buga y el Valle del Cauca; planteando diálogos entre las diversas expresiones del arte en la actualidad, así como sus mecanismos de participación principalmente en la Población juvenil. Este festival busca generar espacios de discusión, creación artística y audiovisual de manera participativa.
El festival se convierte en el primer evento de su tipo en este territorio, para la exhibición, formación, fortalecimiento y construcción colectiva en el tema del Cine y las artes Visuales.

Somos un equipo de jóvenes profesionales que compartimos y contagiamos la apuesta por un cine propio, independiente, de calidad y vuelo intelectual. Somos apasionados de los nuevos talentos, de las generaciones que recién comienzan y la producción que no circula en las salas centrales más vinculadas al mainstream.
Nos interesa profundamente trabajar por la difusión de las producciones latinoamericanas, por empatía, por afinidad, por pertenencia. En pocos años conseguimos que el Festival sea un punto de intercambio dinámico y enriquecedor, facilitando el encuentro entre realizadores, profesionales y nuestro querido público para el cual trabajamos arduamente en la oferta de una programación variada, seductora, sorprendente y singular.
Hacemos FECILBBA porque creemos que el sentimiento por el cine no se reduce a proyectar películas. Estar en el cine, pensar el cine, hacer el cine es descubrirnos en todos nuestros aspectos posibles a través de los relatos, las miradas, los espacios y la palabra. Es encontrarnos en un drama, en una comedia, en un documental, en una aventura fantástica. Es vivir otros tiempos y espacios, es viajar.
Por eso, FECILBBA es para nosotros un lugar donde promover la reflexión y el goce, en una fiesta en la cual el cine sea el eje fundamental. Entusiasmar, contagiar el gusto por el cine, formar parte del ritual común de ser testigos y participantes de un relato audiovisual.

These are the fields that produce what we eat, which allow us to affirm the human capacity to enrich nature and to reap its benefits, but it is the community that, through human interactions, relationships and rules, is able to guarantee survival and the well-being of man.
As part of the 2018 edition dedicated to the theme "If I stay, it's because ..." Corto has headed a collaboration with the Slow Food Condotta of Avellino, aimed at investigating the ways in which the cinema tells the campaign and the community
We are not just looking for stories of agriculture but stories that tell us how people, through agriculture, are still willing to invest in the human, to bet on a piece of land not only to secure a job but also to reaffirm the relationship of man with nature, with things, animals and with the community that surrounds them. Particular attention will also be given to food as a product of sustainable and human-scale agriculture that in turn goes to support the culture and sense of belonging of each community.
The Norwich Film Festival was recently chosen by The Metro as one of "the top UK film festivals you need to know about", and in 2017 became a BIFA (British Independent Film Awards) qualifying short film festival.
We have been running since 2009 and over the years we have hosted over 75 events and screened over 500 films to the public.
The Norwich Film Festival has an amazing array of celebrity patrons including Stephen Fry, Tim McInnerny, Olivia Colman, Julian Jarrold, Brian Cox & John Collee. We also work hard to recruit industry judges (see below) who are all eager to watch our nominated films.
Our 2018 film judges will only view the NOMINATED Films selected and the Norwich Film Festival will then allocate which film categories that judges will watch.

El CINE ANIMAL FEST, es un festival por los Derechos de los Animales, organizado y presentado en la ciudad de Bogotá- Colombia, que a partir del cine y otras manifestaciones artísticas, cuestiona nuestra relación con los demás animales, con el propósito de contribuir en la construcción de un nuevo mundo, libre y justo para todas la especies.
Ahora en su decimocuarta edición, el Festival de Cine del Noreste presenta las mejores películas independientes de cineastas, así como nuevos talentos. La amplia gama de películas, seleccionadas por un comité, incluye largometrajes y cortometrajes de todos los géneros, así como documentales y guiones. El festival se celebra en Teaneck, Nueva Jersey, en los históricos Teaneck Cinemas, y se han programado fiestas para dar el pistoletazo de salida al festival con estilo y espíritu. El Festival Universitario de Cine y Audiovisuales Equinoxio celebra su vigésima séptima edición entre el 19 y el 27 de septiembre de 2025. Abriendo un espacio de encuentro y reflexión en torno al cine estudiantil y posibilitando el contacto con la visión estética de nuevos talentos, así como con las preocupaciones artísticas, sociales y personales de los jóvenes cineastas.
Esta edición de Equinoxio gira alrededor de la línea temática “Pulsiones: Encarnar el deseo”. Buscamos un cine emergente que dé luces sobre el recorrido transitado por los deseos y las formas transmutadas que asume en el mundo percibido, producto de su ineludible relación con lo otro y los otros. Se trata de un cine que expone estructuras y patrones que, desde el lenguaje y la estética, han condicionado los anhelos y pulsiones humanas, invitándonos a cuestionar el lugar que ocupa el deseo tanto frente como fuera de la cámara, explorando sus orígenes, el espacio normativo y disidente, la relación con el cuerpo, la moral, la censura y el papel del arte.
