Iniciado en 2012 por Arogya Sena, el próximo festival marca el noveno año del evento.
La pandemia covid es un momento increíblemente difícil para la comunidad cinematográfica mundial. Los cineastas de todo el mundo se enfrentan a crisis financieras y a dificultades cada vez mayores para mostrar su trabajo en el formato teatral. Comprometidos con nuestra misión de ayudar, apoyar y promover cineastas independientes e insuficientemente representados en India y en el extranjero, SPIFF patrocinado por 'Arogya Sena a' anuncia, que las entradas a la 9ª edición de SPIFF serán GRATIS DE COSTO.
InShadow es una referencia en el campo de la creación artística contemporánea y la curaduría, poniendo énfasis en la convergencia de cuerpo e imagen. Nuestro programa anual incluye concursos internacionales de proyecciones, documentales y animaciones relacionadas con la danza, además de actuaciones, talleres, masterclasses, exposiciones e instalaciones.
Un Court Tournable es un festival de cortometrajes que pretende ser un lugar de descubrimiento de nuevos talentos en el campo del cine.
Las personalidades patrocinarán algunos de nuestros eventos como invitados de honor, una oportunidad para compartir experiencias con este universo artístico.

Cada corto es tiempo, decisiones, una forma de mirar, de contar y de expresar.
En su 15ª edición, El Festivalico continúa recibiendo obras de todas partes del mundo, muy distintas entre sí.
No todas se proyectan.
La selección la realiza un equipo con diferentes sensibilidades y puntos de vista.
Este proceso nos lleva meses de visualización, abordado siempre con el máximo respeto y rigor cada trabajo recibido.
Durante estos años, algunas de las obras seleccionadas han continuado su recorrido siendo posteriormente seleccionadas galardonadas en los Premios Goya, entre otros reconocimientos.
Pero todas forman parte de lo mismo:
la necesidad de contar y de ser visto.
Durante unos días, una selección de esas historias se comparte y se vive.
El Área de Cultura del Excmo. Ayuntamiento de San Nicolás del Puerto y el Punto Vuela de San Nicolás del Puerto convocan el XII Festival de Cortometrajes de Terror y Fantástico “La Vieja Encina” 2025, a celebrarse el 1, 2 y 3 de octubre de 2026.
El Festival Internacional BioBioCine es un encuentro intercultural de conocimientos y saberes expresados desde el cine. Su objetivo es convertirse en un espacio de diálogo y reflexión, además de difundir, promover, apoyar y valorar la cinematografía nacional e internacional desde una perspectiva territorial e identitaria, en el marco de su reunión anual.
El Festival Internacional BioBioCine invita a participar con obras provenientes de todos los países y culturas en su undécima edición. Su programación incluye categorías competitivas y no competitivas, de largometrajes y cortometrajes, tanto de ficción como de no ficción, con énfasis en el cine de autor, nuevos realizadores, experimentación, diálogo intercultural y las primeras naciones.
CINELEBU, tiene como objeto ofrecer a los realizadores audiovisuales chilenos y extranjeros una ventana de difusión, comercialización y distribución de cortometrajes ficción, documental y animación, promoviendo la producción audiovisual de calidad técnica y artística, facilitando y generando espacios para realizar contactos, negocios, apoyos e intercambios, para actuales y futuras obras. Potenciando, además, la formación, educación y audiencias.
El certamen se llevará a cabo del 22 al 30 de mayo de 2026 en la Región del Biobío, Chile, con sedes principales en Lebu (Capital de la Provincia de Arauco) y Concepción. El festival contará además con subsedes virtuales de exhibición a nivel nacional e internacional.

WHY THIS FESTIVAL ?
This festival is to be focused on this type of films. You will have specific recognition for the documentary you made, in a festival dedicated to documentaries.
Why is this so important ? Because sometimes, documentaries are just another category in some film festivals. We think documentaries deserve more attention, and we want to contribute giving it to them.
WHAT WILL BE OUR SELECTION ?
We will only select and screen short documentaries, not over 15 or 20 minutes maximum. If you made a full feature documentary, we will not be able to select it yet, but maybe in the years to come.
We are seeking for original documentaries, that can explore the world for us, bring some issues and analysis to the table, whether you shot it with a DSLR or a top 4K+ camera.
We accept all themes and langage. If not english speaking we require english subtitles.
SCREENING
A selection of the winners will screen on 2018, May 4th, in Los Angeles. The award give away will take place at the same time, on the evening.
CARACTERISTICAS DEL EVENTO
En cada pase competitivo se proyectarán cinco cortometrajes, tres de ellos nacionales dentro de concurso y otros dos nacionales e internacionales fuera de concurso.
En cada pase las votaciones las hará el público y se efectuarán mediante una papeleta que se dará a los asistentes con cada caña que tomen.
Será finalista la obra más votada.
Los finalistas irán a la final del mes de diciembre de 2018 donde se seleccionará con el mismo método el Corto ganador del certamen “Cortos y Cañas La Leyenda” 2018.
Glasgow Short Film Festival, el mayor festival de cortometrajes competitivos de Escocia, reúne a cineastas escoceses e internacionales, delegados de la industria y el público local para cinco días intensos de proyecciones de competición, programas especiales únicos, talleres y fiestas. - Los cortometrajes presentados deben haber sido producidos entre 2021 y 2023.
- La duración no debe exceder de 20 minutos.
- Las obras no habladas en castellano deberán presentar subtítulos en dicho idioma.
- El tema de los cortometrajes será libre.
- Se aceptarán cortometrajes de ficción con imagen real, de animación, y de los géneros experimental y documental.
The Erie International Film Festival Call For Entries is now open to the US and International filmmakers, and we shall accept all genres of film including Narrative Features, Narrative Shorts, Animation Features and Shorts, Experimental Features and Shorts, and all forms of Horror, Suspense and Thriller films of Short and Feature length, all lengths of Comedies and Documentaries, along with Feature and Short lengths of GLBT and Religious/Spirituals films, along with Music Videos for the 2018 festival.

Tokyo Sun Film festival attemtps to setting up in Tokyo to provide independent filmmakers with a platform that offers them interaction, networking and greater visibility.
