El Festival de Cine de la India tiene sus raíces hace casi una década en el norte de la India. El festival se inauguró en Meerut y concluyó con éxito en Noida con la participación de casi 18 países. En 2014, Miniboxoffice aprobó oficialmente el festival gracias a sus organizadores y el Festival de Cine de la India se mueve ahora con las mentes apasionadas de Miniboxoffice. El objetivo del ICFF-26 es dar impulso al cine independiente.
El objetivo del ICFF es crear una plataforma para el encuentro, el intercambio y el desarrollo de grandes ideas cinematográficas. El festival, junto con las proyecciones de películas competitivas internacionales, también ofrece un mercado cinematográfico y clases magistrales y debates orientados al mercado cinematográfico y a la industria. El festival proporcionará un punto central donde la gente de la industria podrá compartir negocios y se crearán nuevas oportunidades para nuevos talentos.

The contest can be attended by Italian autors and filmmakers under 35 who realized a short movie about food topic. Food should be understood as a vehicle for cultural exchange and for research into social, environmental, cultural, ecological or civil issues. The winner will receive a prize of 1000 Euros. More prizes will be assigned by juries composed by schools and cinema students. The partecipation in the contest is free of charge.
The festival aims to sensitize the target abut the food topic as a very relevant social and ecological issue, connected with human rights, biodiversity conservation and ecological sustainability of human productions. CENTRAL-DOC, Blackbird Films y Huitzil Laboratorio de Creación Multidisciplinaria A.C. convocan a todos los realizadores de documental a participar en la cuarta edición de la Muestra Internacional de Cine Documental, que se realizará del 2 al 6 de diciembre de 2019 en el estado de Tlaxcala, México. Las obras serán proyectadas en espacios públicos, independientes, instituciones educativas y centros culturales, pudiendo ser estos locales, nacionales o internacionales.
Esta cuarta edición de la Muestra está acompañada del tema CULTURA, IDENTIDAD Y RESISTENCIA… A 500 AÑOS. Un tema que busca visibilizar pero sobre todo reivindicar el papel de los pueblos originarios a través de los diferentes documentales que conformen esta edición y que se pretende giren en torno a temas particulares como son orígenes, tradiciones, territorio, lengua, derechos, entre muchos más. Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

PROBLEMA DE ALIENACIÓN
Vivimos en un mundo de centros comerciales y multicines. Vemos que el cine independiente y el arte no comercial pasan a la periferia de la atención pública. Las atracciones primitivas sustituyen a la cinematografía. El público que huye se siente alienado detrás de la gran pantalla. Por lo tanto, el cine convencional moderno es parte de una herramienta de manipulación que conduce a la sociedad de la alienación. Por lo tanto, la tendencia es que el cine independiente se vuelva más ilegible para el público en general. Debemos entender el contexto del cineasta para entender el cine independiente. Por eso, el concepto NEFILTRAVANAE KINO implica la presencia física de los cineastas.
PROBLEMA DE SELECCIÓN DE PELÍCULAS
Los cineastas filman millones de películas. Y miles de festivales de cortometrajes organizan proyecciones en todo el mundo cada año. En promedio, se presentan varios miles de películas a un festival de cine. Por lo tanto, se pueden descuidar varias películas buenas por cualquier motivo. A menudo, seleccionar la probabilidad es como ganar una lotería. Como resultado, los cineastas se quedan sin comentarios. ¡Es una paradoja que nadie pueda oírte en la era de Internet! La cultura dominante prefiere las atracciones y las visitas informales.
Además, esta idea se basa en el problema de la selección de películas. Quizás no sorprenda que una persona, es decir, el director del programa en el mejor de los casos, o incluso los estudiantes de las escuelas de cine, tomen la decisión preliminar de seleccionar una película. La concordancia entre los jueces y los previsores es menos frecuente que la diferencia de procedencia o de gustos. Por lo tanto, la selección o el juicio pueden ser unilaterales o superficiales. No está mal, ya que el director del programa tiene buen gusto y sensibilidad estética, por supuesto. Pero hemos descubierto otra concepción del «cine sin filtros». Lo comparamos con «lo mejor de lo mejor». Esto ayuda a percibir el lenguaje cinematográfico sin el dictado de los curadores de arte.
UNA CELEBRACIÓN DEL CINE INDEPENDIENTE
Por eso, el Unfiltered Cinema Film Festival trata de evitar «lo mejor de lo mejor», pero no lo ignora por completo, claro. El festival selecciona secciones de ficción, animación, documental, experimental y realidad virtual. Un jurado premia la mejor película de cada sección. El festival organiza las proyecciones en salas de cine, el Centro Nacional de Arte Contemporáneo y espacios de arte.
Nuestro objetivo es reunir a las personas en el mundo del arte, dialogar y ser felices con una comunicación inteligente. El cine es arte pero no deporte. El punto clave de nuestro proyecto es establecer una comunicación entre el cineasta y el público.

The mission of the Au Contraire film festival (ACFF) is to showcase stirring and thought-provoking films that explore issues of mental illness from different angles.
In a culture that stigmatizes people living with mental illness, the ACFF challenges audiences to see the personal behind the labels—stories of hope, stories of suffering and, often, a mixture of both. It calls on filmmakers to help us look at our human shadows with greater compassion.
The festival is held in the stunning theatre of Montreal's Museum of Fine Arts. Films are complemented by post-screening panel discussions inviting audience participation. Panelists have included directors, subjects of documentaries, youth living with a mental illness and leading professionals in the field.
The ACFF is the only completely bilingual, French and English, mental health film festival in the world.
Our previous two years surpassed our expectations for success by standards too usual to mention save our favourite one: an entertained and engaged audience that did not want the panel discussions to end.
The ACFF raises funds for Montreal organizations providing direct services for people living with mental illness and related issues.
