CENTRAL-DOC INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTAR FILM FESTIVAL Quarta edizione CENTRAL-DOC, Blackbird Films e Huitzil Multidisciplinary Creation Laboratory A.C. si svolgono dal 2 al 6 dicembre 2019 nello stato di Tlaxcala, Messico. Le opere saranno proiettate in spazi pubblici, indipendenti, istituzioni educative e centri culturali, essendo questi locali, nazionali o internazionali. Questa quarta edizione della Mostra è accompagnata dal tema CULTURA, IDENTITÀ E RESISTENZA... 500 ANNI FA. Un tema che cerca di rendere visibile ma soprattutto di rivendicare il ruolo delle popolazioni indigene attraverso i diversi documentari che compongono questa edizione e che sono destinati a ruotarsi su temi particolari come le origini, le tradizioni, il territorio, la lingua, i diritti, tra molti altri. Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

The International Film Festival for Peace, Inspiration, and Equality (IFFPIE) was established to celebrate the World Peace Day (September 21) and to participate in making a more peaceful and better world, raise the quality of life, and maintain intercultural relationship for better acceptance and deeper understanding of people and diversity in life. Our main mission is to promote films about peace, inspiration and equality issues, carrying strong methods of storytelling, produced with excellent technique and crafted with passion and love for humanity.

We receive submissions from all over the world. The festival accepts feature and short film, documentary (any length), screenplay, music video, and we welcome ambitious newcomers to star their excellent films. The festival appreciates all the hard work every department contributes to making a film. Originariamente il festival si svolgeva in Bielorussia, ma a causa della repressione politica e delle posizioni contro la guerra dichiarate pubblicamente, proiezioni ed eventi possono essere organizzati in diversi paesi. PROBLEMA DI ALIENAZIONE
Viviamo in un mondo di centri commerciali e cinema multisala. Vediamo che il cinema indipendente e l'arte non commerciale vanno alla periferia dell'attenzione del pubblico. Le attrazioni primitive sostituiscono la cinematografia. Il pubblico di Escape si sente alienato dietro il grande schermo. Quindi il cinema mainstream moderno fa parte di uno strumento di manipolazione che porta alla società dell'alienazione. Quindi la tendenza è che il cinema indipendente diventi più illeggibile per il vasto pubblico. Dovremmo capire il contesto del regista per comprendere il cinema indipendente. Ecco perché il concetto di NEFILTRAVANAE KINO implica la presenza fisica dei registi.
PROBLEMA DI SELEZIONE DEI FILM
I registi girano milioni di film. E migliaia di festival di cortometraggi organizzano proiezioni in tutto il mondo ogni anno. In media, diverse migliaia di film vengono presentati a un festival cinematografico. Quindi vari buoni film possono essere trascurati per qualsiasi motivo. Spesso selezionare la probabilità è come vincere alla lotteria. Di conseguenza, i registi non hanno alcun feedback. È un paradosso che nessuno possa sentirti nell'era di Internet! La cultura tradizionale predilige le attrazioni e la visione informale.
Inoltre, questa idea si basa sul problema della selezione dei film. Forse non sorprende che una persona, vale a dire il direttore del programma nella migliore delle ipotesi, o anche gli studenti delle scuole di cinema prendano una decisione preliminare sulla selezione di un film. La concordanza tra giudici o spettatori è più rara della differenza di background e gusti. Quindi la selezione o il giudizio possono essere unilaterali o superficiali. Non è male perché il direttore del programma ha un buon gusto e una sensibilità estetica, ovviamente. Ma abbiamo scoperto un'altra concezione di «cinema non filtrato». L'abbiamo confrontato con il metodo «il meglio del meglio». Questo modo aiuta a percepire l'idioma cinematografico senza il dettato dei curatori d'arte.
CELEBRAZIONE DEL CINEMA INDIPENDENTE
Quindi l'Unfiltered Cinema Film Festival cerca di evitare il «meglio del meglio» ma non lo ignora completamente, certo. Il festival seleziona sezioni di finzione, animazione, documentario, sperimentale e realtà virtuale. Una giuria premia il miglior film in ogni sezione. Il festival organizza le proiezioni nelle sale cinematografiche, nel Centro nazionale per le arti contemporanee e negli spazi artistici.
Il nostro obiettivo è riunire le persone nell'arte, dialogare per essere felici con una comunicazione intelligente. Il cinema è arte ma non sport. Il punto chiave del nostro progetto è stabilire una comunicazione tra il regista e il pubblico.

The mission of the Au Contraire film festival (ACFF) is to showcase stirring and thought-provoking films that explore issues of mental illness from different angles.
In a culture that stigmatizes people living with mental illness, the ACFF challenges audiences to see the personal behind the labels—stories of hope, stories of suffering and, often, a mixture of both. It calls on filmmakers to help us look at our human shadows with greater compassion.
The festival is held in the stunning theatre of Montreal's Museum of Fine Arts. Films are complemented by post-screening panel discussions inviting audience participation. Panelists have included directors, subjects of documentaries, youth living with a mental illness and leading professionals in the field.
The ACFF is the only completely bilingual, French and English, mental health film festival in the world.
Our previous two years surpassed our expectations for success by standards too usual to mention save our favourite one: an entertained and engaged audience that did not want the panel discussions to end.
The ACFF raises funds for Montreal organizations providing direct services for people living with mental illness and related issues.

L'Ekurhuleni International Film Festival è nato come risultato del programma Siyafunda, un'iniziativa di Rhythm Cycle Trading Projects in collaborazione con la municipalità metropolitana di Ekurhuleni: Dipartimento: SRAC: divisione Performing Arts. Lo scopo del programma è quello di responsabilizzare economicamente i giovani disoccupati e fornire loro competenze cinematografiche vitali. Promuovere le imprese locali dell'industria cinematografica e promuovere la coesione sociale e lo sviluppo dei giovani. La promozione della musica e degli strumenti indigeni e la partecipazione alle arti è uno dei ruoli chiave del Programma.
L'ala cinematografica del progetto ha avviato l'Ekurhuleni International Film Festival attraverso uno dei suoi partner Rhythm Cycle Projects, una società di produzione cinematografica e televisiva locale. Il Festival «Golden Snail» è un festival mondiale di film d'animazione per bambini che si svolge nel mese di settembre 2025 a Vranje, in Serbia. «Golden Snail» riunisce giovani registi da tutto il mondo. Qualsiasi studio, club o scuola che lavori con i bambini nel campo dell'animazione cinematografica è benvenuto al nostro festival. I film devono essere realizzati DA BAMBINI, non da professionisti per bambini.
Il festival è sostenuto dal Ministero della Cultura della Repubblica di Serbia e dalla città di Vranje.
Now in its 7th year, Damnationland is an invitational Maine-based short genre fest. We work hard to feature the best filmmakers and films from Maine. Our premiere event draws over 800 excited film fans to the beautiful State Theater in Portland every year in early October. The program then tours all over Maine before moving on to festivals and other screenings around the world. Last year, we screened from Ohio to Singapore, with a couple stops between.
This year, we are adding an international film competition to our annual get-down. In 2017, Damnationland will be featuring independent films from across the world for the first time. No longer contained to the borders of Maine, Damnationland is now opening up a few precious slots to filmmakers from around the world.
The highlight of the program will still be the premiere of 7 Maine-made dark genre pieces at the State Theatre. It's a huge event, with over 800 film viewers lining up last year to see Maine's best. But this year we will be supplementing the Maine shorts with additional screenings. All weekend, we hope to show the best dark genre work from around the world.
We want to show filmmakers outside of the state what Maine can do, and expose their films to our own rabid Damnationland audience.
So send us your dark genre films! We are looking for things that are dark, scary, disturbing, seedy, or just downright weird. Take a look at the archive on our website to see what sort of films we feature.
We can promise you great crowds for your screenings and a great time in one of the best small cities in the country.
