Dieses Festival beginnt mit der Absicht, über die bloße Bekanntheit hinauszugehen. Obwohl es wichtig ist, die Öffentlichkeit für die Risiken zu sensibilisieren, die mit der Ausbeutung und Nutzung natürlicher Ressourcen bei der Herstellung fossiler Brennstoffe verbunden sind, besteht nach wie vor das enorme und dramatische Problem der durch Energiemangel verursachten Katastrophen, insbesondere in Bezug auf die Wasserversorgung, die für die Weltbevölkerung von großer Bedeutung sind. Das Hauptziel des Festivals wird daher nicht nur darin bestehen, Probleme im Zusammenhang mit der Nutzung fossiler Brennstoffe in den Vordergrund zu stellen, sondern vor allem Alternativen zu identifizieren, die nach den derzeitigen wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen die verschiedenen bekannten Produktionsmethoden berücksichtigen.

Das Internationale Filmfestival „Prvi kadar“ /First Frame ist eine wichtige Filmveranstaltung in Bosnien und Herzegowina, deren Mission es ist, die Filmkunst von Autoren aus der ganzen Welt zu fördern. Das Festival hat auch keinen Wettbewerbscharakter. Filme konkurrieren in zwei Kategorien: Dokumentar- und Kurzfilme.
Fünfzehn Ausgaben des Festivals und eine große Anzahl von Autoren, die sich für das Festival interessieren, belegen, dass das Festival unter Künstlern auf der ganzen Welt als wichtiges und prestigeträchtiges Filmereignis anerkannt ist.
Die Auswahl des Festivals bestätigt die Kontinuität, vor allem den künstlerischen Ansatz, auf dem die gesamte Idee des ersten Rahmens aufbaut. Bei der Betrachtung der Beziehung zwischen Themen und Ideen wird der Schwerpunkt auf die Haltung des Autors oder eine künstlerische Idee gelegt.
Ein reichhaltiges, nicht wettbewerbsorientiertes und wettbewerbsorientiertes Programm von hoher künstlerischer Qualität, Bildungsprogramme, Vorträge, DokMasterClass, Film Campus of Art, Dokumentarfilme, Ausstellungen, Förderung von Buch der Filmkunst, zahlreiche Gäste aus der Welt des Films belegen, dass das Festival von Jahr zu Jahr expandiert und das Programm inhaltlich bereichert. Das diesjährige Festival findet vom 20. bis 24. November 2023 in Ost-Sarajevo und Zvornik, Republik Srpska, Bosnien und Herzegowina statt.
Das Asian Summer Film Festival möchte die asiatische Kultur durch die in den Ländern des Kontinents produzierte populäre Kinematografie präsentieren.
Das Festival hat mehrere Kategorien wie einen wettbewerbsfähigen Bereich, Retrospektiven, Vorführungen für Kinder und Themenabende. Letztes Jahr wurden 40 Titel aus China, Hongkong, Thailand, Südkorea, Japan und Indien gezeigt, einige von ihnen waren Weltfestivalpremieren, europäische Festivalpremieren oder spanische Festivalpremieren. Die 18 Filme, die in der offiziellen Sektion programmiert wurden, konkurrierten um den Jurypreis, den Lucky Cat Award, der vom Publikum an den besten Film im Wettbewerb verliehen wurde, und den Critics' Choice Award.
El Festival internacional de Cine Opera Prima, único en Chile para primeras películas, nace con la vocación de reconocer y apoyar a los nuevos valores del cine que realizan animaciones, documentales y largometrajes, otorgándoles una pantalla profesional de exhibición a una labor indispensable en la cultura audiovisual.
La especialización del festival en operas primas es algo que lo convierte en una referencia total en el panorama de los festivales nacionales.
Dada la gran diversidad de públicos que atrae la atención de este certamen tanto en Chile como de los países participantes, se trata de uno de los novedosos y más importantes momentos en la dinamización de la vida cultural de Santiago, a la vez que trabajara con las escuelas e instituciones universitarias que imparten carreras de audiovisual, cine, animación y artes en general, así como de talleres y escuelas de comunicación comunitarias.
El Festival internacional de Cine Opera Prima convocara a los realizadores chilenos y extranjeros que envíen sus largometrajes en las categorías de Documental o Ficción. Todas las películas son de tema libre y tienen como principal requisito que tengan subtítulos en castellano para obras habladas en otras lenguas o idiomas y que sean aptas para todo público.
La convocatoria está abierta para realizadores audiovisuales cuyas operas primas no hayan sido estrenadas en el circuito comercial y que hayan sido realizadas en los años 2014, 2015 y 2016.
Con la proyección de una selección especial de las óperas primas de directores reconocidos mundialmente, el público asistente al Cine Arte Alameda podrá ver los primeros filmes realizados por directores como por ejemplo: Zhang Yimou, François Truffaut, Orson Welles, Spike Jonze, Sergei M. Eisenstein, o Alejandro Amenábar entre otros.
El jurado del Festival internacional de Cine Opera Prima estará formado por profesionales del sector audiovisual y será nombrado por la organización de este certamen quienes elegirán 3 lugares para cada categoría de este festival.
Los primeros lugares de cada categoría, podrán acceder, entre otros premios, a exhibir su filme en la cartelera regular del Cine Arte Alameda.

The festival takes place at the end of May, and is held in various Ukrainian cities.
FRAPA – The Porto Alegre Screenwriting Festival – is the largest event focused in scriptwriting for television and film in Latin America. The 8th FRAPA will be held at Cinemateca Capitólio, from the 14th to 17th of July, 2020. Our aim is to discuss and strengthen the significance of screenplay writing in times of rising in TV and film production in Brazil and in the whole continent.
Inspired by similar festivals in the United States and Europe, FRAPA has grown in size throughout the years, organizing debate sessions, competitions, workshops, screenings, master classes and business rounds. We intend to make FRAPA a reference for the thought of audiovisual writing in Latin America. By encouraging the exchange of experiences between screenwriters and other professionals in the audiovisual market, we create an opportunity for qualification and celebrate new partnerships.
FRAPA has received many renown professionals throughout its three editions. To name a few: James V. Hart (Dracula, Hook, Contact), Bráulio Mantovani (City of God e Elite Squad 1 e 2), Fernando Castets (Son of the Bride), Marcos Bernstein (Central Station), Pablo Stoll (25 Watts and Whisky), Luiz Bolognesi (Rio 2096: A Story of Love and Fury), Lisandro Alonso (Jauja) and many others.

Das InFest Film Festival ist ein zweitägiges Kurzfilmfestival für Freaks, das in Rubí stattfindet, einer Stadt voller Asphalt, Industrie und Rauch in den Valles Occidental, einer Region in der Nähe von Barcelona (Spanien).
Das InFest Festival ist ein fester und klarer Vorschlag: Rubí soll als Rubiwood des Viertels Vallés bekannt werden. In den letzten 9 Jahren hat InFest das bestmögliche Kurzfilmerlebnis organisiert: Vorführungen im Freien, Konzerte, Barservice und alle Arten von Aktivitäten rund um das Kino. Was können wir noch verlangen?
Das InFest widmet sich der Präsentation neuer Kurzfilme (die nach dem Jahr 2020 produziert wurden), in denen Sci-Fi-, Fantastic-, Freak- und Horror-Elemente gezeigt werden. Kurzfilme dürfen nicht länger als 15 Minuten sein (ohne Credits). Ausländische Filme MÜSSEN auf Spanisch oder Katalanisch synchronisiert oder untertitelt werden, sonst wird der Film nicht akzeptiert.
Im Jahr 2025 wird InFest seine 10. jährliche Ausgabe feiern. Nach der COVID-19-Pandemie wurde das InFest in das Amphitheater der Burg von Rubí („El Castell“) verlegt, einer Verteidigungsanlage aus dem 13. Jahrhundert, in der öffentliche Veranstaltungen mit mehr als 2000 Personen stattfinden können. Das Amphitheater verfügt über Sitzplätze, Bühne und Bar! Der Jurypreis und der Publikumspreis sind mit 1000 bzw. 250 Euro dotiert.

Das Festival wird vom Cultural CivitaFilm mit Sitz in der Via Togliatti Nr. 12 -00053- Civitavecchia (Rom, ITALIEN) in Zusammenarbeit mit: Mibact, Stadt Civitavecchia, Regione Lazio und Enel gesponsert und organisiert.
Das Roca Film Festival ist ein gemeinnütziges Kulturprojekt, das im Dorf Roca (Guitiriz) organisiert wird. Es zeigt projizierte Filme, Dokumentar- und Kurzfilme zum Thema Musik, im Freien und um das kulturelle Leben unseres Dorfes und seiner Umgebung zu beleben.
BOSIFEST ist das Internationale Dokumentarfilmfestival für und von Menschen mit Behinderungen, das einzige seiner Art in Südosteuropa, das dieses Jahr zum sechzehnten Mal vom Hendi Center Koloseum in Serbien organisiert wird. Wie in den letzten fünfzehn Jahren wird auch in diesem Jahr eine große Anzahl von Filmen auf der großen Leinwand gezeigt, sowohl im wettbewerbsorientierten als auch im nicht wettbewerbsorientierten Teil. Bisher hatten die Besucher des BOSIFEST die Möglichkeit, 850 Filme zu sehen, die das Leben von Menschen mit Behinderungen zum Thema hatten oder die von behinderten Autoren geschaffen wurden.
Neben Filmvorführungen bietet BOSIFEST zusätzliche Programme in Form von Workshops, Podiumsdiskussionen und Diskussionsrunden.
