About Stuff & Objective - The Student Film Festival (Stuff) is one of the few international film and arts festivals dedicated to budding filmmaker's with aims to provide young filmmakers with an authentic film festival experience, a valuable understanding of the film industry, and an opportunity to screen their movies on “the big screen.” The Festival seeks to nurture and showcase ability as well as the art of film making which encompasses aspects of the arts, culture, history, crafts, geography, cuisine & lifestyle in short what make us what we are. Stuff films and screenings are selected and hosted by filmmakers, professors, and other notable figures in the world of cinema.

11° Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival-22 è un insieme di creatività cinematografica e follia di cine-frequentatori della bellissima città di Calcutta. La città di Kolkata è il fulcro del cinema bengalese, una ricca cultura e meta di molti registi in erba dal secolo scorso. L'obiettivo del festival è quello di dare slancio al cortometraggio e promuovere la crescita di una nuova razza di registi.
L'umile viaggio di KSIFF è iniziato nel 2012 per celebrare i 100 anni di celebrazione del cinema indiano e per salutare il contributo dell'industria cinematografica bengalese allo sviluppo del cinema in India. Le edizioni del festival dal 2012 al 2021 hanno avuto un enorme successo con la partecipazione di tutta l'India e le nazioni straniere e sono il festival trendsetter in India e ora molto richiesto dai giovani registi.

TEMA LIBERO: a differenza di tutte le nostre mostre collettive, il ciclo «Art of Freedom» è caratterizzato dall'assenza di un tema principale, lasciando totale libertà agli artisti, che vengono scelti in base alla personalità e ai contenuti, in modo che possano proporre liberamente la loro visione più personale, senza timore di pregiudizi o censura. Ciò non impedisce loro di trarre liberamente ispirazione dalla libertà e di esprimersi in tal senso. Who should submit?
KAFFNY invites filmmakers and artists of all backgrounds, from any country. Given our history, Korean, Korean-American and Korean – diaspora filmmakers are especially encouraged to share their works, but that is by no means required. Films from years 2017 and 2018 preferred.
What themes/topics/films are appropriate?
Any films, shorts, or documentaries which reflect the commonalities of humanity across cultural divides, highlight multi-cultural interaction, challenge existing narratives, or provide mirrors for people to reflect on their own culture through the experience of another.
2018 Theme: Conversations to Form The Future
Films which address topical themes of 2018 will be given additional consideration, including:

-#Metoo and themes of “Future is Female”
-Sustainability

Why do we host this festival?
The past eleven years of experience in telling Korean American stories helped KAFFNY to identify and find commonality with other stories at the intersection of all cultures. We are ready to evolve, with a new mission to identify unifying commonalities and bust cultural stereotypes by connecting voices through our shared experiences.
2017 KAFFNY Festival
2017’s festival, held on October 14th at the Wythe Hotel Cinema featured five distinct blocks of programming that approached the topic of Infinite Culture through specific lenses: INFINITE FOOD CONNECTION, INFINITE FASHION CONNECTION, WORLDWIDE KOREAN CONNECTION, INFINITE MIGRATION CONNECTION, and CRAZY, RICH ASIAN AMERICANS. Alongside the screening of 25 short films and two feature-length films, the audience engaged in meaningful discussions with the filmmakers during the moderated panel discussions.

Originally founded in 2006 as the Korean American Film Festival New York, our festival venues include: Wythe Hotel Cinema, Village East Cinemas, TheTimesCenter, SVA Theatre, Chelsea Clearview Cinemas, Skirball Center at NYU, Anthology Film Archives, as well as gallery and outdoor public spaces throughout New York City. Our partners include: Ford Foundation (Good Neighbor Committee), Korean American Community Foundation, Post Fin DCP, Re/make, Munchies The Korea Society, CUNY Asian American/American Research Institute, Korean Association of New York Artists, Korea Times, The Korean Channel. KAFFNY Infinite Cinema's mission is to allow the audience to connect stories that are often missing from the mainstream narrative, allow the audience to engage in dialogue with the content makers to fuse a new understanding of our world, and hopefully inspire our audience to repeat this process by seeking out new ways to connect to a culture outside their own. FICFUSA è un festival cinematografico e un processo culturale basato sulla comunità con tredici (13) anni di esperienza. Attraverso il suo approccio Women and Territory, il festival intende il cinema come uno spazio di incontro, creazione, riflessione e trasformazione sociale.
Con sede a Fusagasugá, nella regione di Sumapaz in Colombia, FICFUSA lavora per promuovere il decentramento culturale, l'accesso al cinema come diritto culturale e il rafforzamento dei legami sociali attraverso la narrazione audiovisiva.

L'obiettivo del Festival Internazionale del Cinema Nero di Montreal (MIBFF) è quello di portare al pubblico i nuovi film neri più belli e sorprendenti, creando allo stesso tempo uno spazio per discutere importanti questioni culturali, sociali e socio-economiche. Il MIBFF vuole promuovere un cinema diverso, un cinema che proviene da qui e dall'estero e che non abbia necessariamente l'opportunità di abbellire il grande schermo, un cinema innovativo che ci muove, che suscita consapevolezza e che ci coglie tutti di sorpresa. Il MIBFF proietta film e svolge attività nelle due lingue ufficiali del Canada: inglese e francese. I suoi documenti, materiali promozionali e interpretativi sono anche bilingue. Tuttavia, in alcuni casi, alcuni film sono presentati solo in inglese o francese.
Il Festival Internazionale Luz del Desierto è un festival audiovisivo che mira a promuovere il cinema all'interno del paese e all'estero. Il festival si svolgerà a ottobre con un concorso per lungometraggi e cortometraggi, sia di finzione, animazione che documentari. Ci saranno anche conferenze e workshop.
A celebration of erotic art
The Reel Erotic Art Film Festival, an IMDb event, aims to celebrate the erotic arts by showcasing short and feature films that are sexual in nature stemming from around the world.
We are looking to showcase films that contain graphic descriptions of sexual activity and nudity but also has a set genre, a meaningful storyline and artistic value.
We are also accepting submissions for our erotic screenplay competition.
Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
The Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, celebrating its 26th Anniversary October 6th-October 15th is the oldest non-fiction festival in North America. Our second edition of the Artculvid Film Festival will take place at San Francisco de Sales in Cundinamarca - Colombia, where the Colombian and International short film will be exhibited and studied, also understood as a film, as a cinematographic work. Our festival will take place on the 1st and 2nd of December 2018.

I fini del festival sono quelli di espandere la cultura cinematografica a tutte le età e di rendere noti opere sia di persone già competenti che di ragazzi alle prime armi, in quanto è aperto a videomaker anche minorenni.
Cortometraggi/cartoon: possono partecipare autori dai 14 anni in su; i corti devono avere una durata compresa tra 1’ e 35’; sono accettati sia cortometraggi in lingua italiana che in lingua straniera sottotitolati in Italiano.
The Mediterranean Film Festival (MedFF) is an online festival that rewards every month the best for each category. Its objective is to promote independent films and emerging artists by making them competing with more established ones.
The MedFF born to George Beach (Fontane Bianche) in the beautiful and charming town of Syracuse (Italy). MedFF means freedom, typical of maritime cities, every participant can submit his work whatever it is.

Discovery Film Festival: il Festival internazionale del cinema scozzese per il pubblico giovane

Discovery Film Festival è giunto al suo diciannovesimo anno. Con sede a Dundee Contemporary Arts e in tour in luoghi partner in Scozia, Regno Unito e Irlanda, il festival proietta film provenienti da tutto il mondo appositamente programmati per il pubblico giovane.
Il festival include tre emozionanti weekend di film, attività creative ed eventi di gala, oltre a due settimane di proiezioni ed eventi per le scuole.
Discovery mira a sviluppare un nuovo pubblico per il meglio del cinema internazionale, migliorare l'alfabetizzazione mediatica e offrire ai giovani spettatori una visione della vita dei bambini e dei giovani in altre culture. Il festival è attivo dal 2004 quando è stato avviato come partnership con Dundee Education Development Department, Scottish Screen e DCA.
Discovery Film Festival è un progetto DCA ed è organizzato da Mike Tait, Festival Producer e Cinema Youth Development Officer. Un team di Young Ambassadors (15-19 anni) collabora con Mike per programmare film e consigliare il design generale del festival. Un team di insegnanti e consulenti per l'istruzione consiglia il programma educativo e crea risorse pertinenti per il Curriculum for Excellence per le lezioni che visitano il festival.
