Das Ponferrada International Film Festival ist eine Veranstaltung, die sich auf die Verbreitung und Förderung von Kurzfilmen aus aller Welt spezialisiert hat, unabhängig von Produktionsformat, Vertrieb, Ausstellung, Kategorie, Genre oder Thema.
Kurzfilme sind nicht nur eine Lernquelle für neue Fachleute in der Filmbranche und ein Werbeinstrument für den Sprung zum Spielfilm, sondern können auch eine äußerst kreative und freie Form des Ausdrucks, des Geschichtenerzählens und Experimentierens sein, unabhängig vom Markt.
Wir setzen uns auch dafür ein, Filme hervorzuheben, die unabhängig von ihrer Länge die kulturelle, soziale und sprachliche Vielfalt aller Regionen der Welt als Teil des Gedächtnisses der Völker und des unbekanntesten universellen audiovisuellen Erbes widerspiegeln
Das Internationale Kurzfilmfestival von Cali soll mit der Eröffnung seiner Ausschreibung ein Ort für die Ausstellung von professionellen und universitären Kurzfilmen aus der Stadt Cali und der Welt sein, um als Treffpunkt zwischen den neuen Filmemachern und den Fachleuten des Kurzfilms zu dienen.
Das XVII. Internationale Kurzfilmfestival von Cali findet vom 23. bis 27. September 2025 in der kolumbianischen Stadt Santiago de Cali statt.
Die Ausschreibung für die Wettbewerbskategorien des Festivals läuft ab dem 20. März 2025 und wir schließen die Anmeldefrist am 31. Mai 2025 um Mitternacht kolumbianischer Ortszeit (UTC-5).
Filme, die in die folgenden Kategorien eingesendet wurden: Nationale offizielle Auswahl, nationale offizielle Hochschulauswahl, internationale offizielle Auswahl und internationale offizielle Hochschulauswahl müssen nach dem 15. Januar 2024 fertiggestellt worden sein.
Die Ergebnisse der Ausschreibung für die Wettbewerbskategorien werden bis zum 31. Juli 2025 auf der offiziellen Website des Festivals unter www.cortoscali.com bekannt gegeben.

(Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival)
HALF Festival stands for Haiku Amateur Little Film Festival. ‘Haiku’ is a very short form of Japanese poetry, here used to mean any short form of aesthetic creativity. ‘Amateur’ here denotes a creation by a creator whose chief intention in the creation is not financial gain. ‘Little’ here stands for shortness of duration of the film. ‘HALF’ denotes also the stipulated duration of the film which is 5 minutes or ‘half’ the time of a traditional film reel which is 10 minutes. Insight, which is organizing this festival, is a group of creative artists, with base at Palakkad, who believe in the infinite potential of the short film as a medium of communication and aesthetic creativity.
Das Rome Independent Film Festival (RIFF) ist Italiens erstes unabhängiges und internationales Filmfestival. Ziel ist es, die Begeisterung junger Filmemacher für Filme und das Filmemachen mit den Realitäten der Filmproduktion und des Filmvertriebs zu verbinden. FICAMS, Antarctica’s International Film Festival about Environment and Sustainability is a competitive festival that gives and teaches community members, through films, diverse views related to our habitat and culture. Filmfestival: Childhood and Adolescence — 2026 ist ein Fest mit Räumen für den audiovisuellen Austausch und die Bildung von Kindern, Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen mit Vorführungen, Freizeitaktivitäten, Workshops, Podiumsdiskussionen und Diskussionen. Hauptziel ist es, Bogotá als Vorreiterstadt in Lateinamerika bekannt zu machen, indem sichergestellt wird, dass Kinder und Jugendliche sichtbar sind, eine führende Rolle spielen und durch die audiovisuelle Produktion alle Rechte genießen. Die Teilnahme an der Ausstellung und den Austausch audiovisueller Inhalte ist kostenlos.
Das Festival findet vom 7. bis 12. September 2026 statt.

The Lahore International Children’s Film Festival is a project of The Little Art. It's an an annual event to showcase the best of local and international films made by, for or about children and young people. The Festival was started in 2008, and has completed its 9 seasons successfully and has reached to nearly 451,550 audiences.
Aiming at education as well as entertainment, the film festival is dedicated to promote the culture of film watching, media literacy and alternative learning among children and young people. Each year, the festival brings some of the best international films to Pakistan to promote, peace, creativity, social awareness, world cultures and the arts.
The Festival reaches to nearly 50,000 children and young people each year, from urban to rural areas. The festival defines “children and young people” as its primary beneficiaries, irrespective of their gender, social status, class, education or income level.
The festival has an inclusive approach to involve marginalized and less privileged children as its audience. We collaborate with NGOs and community organizations to show the world's best films to out-of-school and marginalized children across Pakistan.
2018 is the 10th season of the Festival and will take place in Lahore, Pakistan in October 2018.

FesticineKids 27 ist ein internationales Kinder- und Jugendfilmfestival in Cartagena de Indias. Es ist ein Filmwettbewerb, der seine Bemühungen darauf ausrichtet, die Produktion und den Vertrieb von kolumbianischem, lateinamerikanischem und weltweitem Kino für Kinder und Jugendliche zu stärken.
Im Jahr 2025 feiert FesticineKids seine 27. Ausgabe mit dem gleichen Motto, das Kino für Mädchen, Jungen und Jugendliche in den Mittelpunkt zu stellen und zu feiern. Der Satz wurde als Slogan gewählt: UNSERE KINDERWERTE. Ausgehend von diesem Konzept sollen Kinder und Jugendliche aufgefordert werden, sich der Verantwortung bewusst zu werden, die sie haben, Veränderungen in ihrer Umwelt mitzugestalten. Kinder und Jugendliche sind die Zukunft, die die Pflege unseres Planeten Erde, der Menschen, die sie umgeben, der Tiere und Pflanzen sowie der Orte, die sie besuchen, fördern sollte. Die Tendenz zu Afro-Filmen und Filmen, die sich an indigene Völker richten.
Bei der Erstellung des Profils der FesticineKids 27 wird der Bildschirm als Treffpunkt von Mädchen, Jungen und Jugendlichen problematisiert. Indem das Kino als das Szenario postuliert wird, in dem Gefühle, Emotionen und Überzeugungen zum Ausdruck kommen, soll beabsichtigt werden, dass Mädchen, Jungen und Jugendliche, die verstehen, was das Kino sie hervorruft, was sie daraus ziehen und welche Bedeutung es hat, sich darüber Gedanken machen, welchen Platz das Kino in ihrem Leben, in ihrer Umwelt einnimmt, parallel zu dem Ort, den sie wollen und von dem sie träumen.
Es ist auch eine Gelegenheit für Erwachsene, Eltern, Lehrer, Kultur- und Filmschaffende, über die Notwendigkeit nachzudenken, ihre Kapazitäten als Ausbilder im Spannungsfeld und im Umgang mit den audiovisuellen Medien, insbesondere dem Kino, zu stärken.
Da das Festival des Internationalen Kurzfilmwettbewerbs „Ciudad de Soria“ den Kurzfilm stets als Kapital betrachtet und die Verbreitung der Kultur als unverzichtbares Mittel ansieht, ist es unser Ziel, den Beitrag zur Anerkennung und Verbreitung als audiovisuelles Ausdrucksmittel zu fördern.
Dieses Format muss im Wesentlichen und grundsätzlich Teil von CINEMA sein.
Since its 1st edition in Barcelos in 2008, the ART&TUR Festival has effectively fulfilled its mission of making known to the world the best audiovisual productions in Portugal and in the world.
As a forum for sharing experiences, the ART&TUR Festival has achieved a high international recognition, thanks to the quality and quantity of films that it distinguishes annually, as well as its integration into a worldwide network of similar festivals: CIFFT (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals) that annually elects the best tourism film worldwide, among all the films that travel the international circuit of 16 festivals.
From 2018, ART&TUR Film Festival rights were transferred from APTUR to Centro de Portugal Film Commission (CPFC). Associated to this change, and thanks to an agreement between the CPFC and the Regional Tourism Entity of Center of Portugal, the ART&TUR Festival will now be held in the Central Region, roaming through the various municipalities of the Center of Portugal.

Our second edition of the Artculvid Film Festival will take place at San Francisco de Sales in Cundinamarca - Colombia, where the Colombian and International short film will be exhibited and studied, also understood as a film, as a cinematographic work. Our festival will take place on the 1st and 2nd of December 2018.

quality productions for kids, from any country.
FAN CHILE 5th edition from September 10th to 14th, 2019.
FAN CHILE Audiovisual Festival for Children awards and promotes the debate on audiovisual content for children. Productions and co-productions in any language can entry, but only if they are dubbed or subtitled in
Spanish.
TV channels and independent producers can participate. The call is open to all kinds oftechniques, genders and formats.
Productions that have been completed or aired any time between january, 2017 and May 2019, will be accepted.
Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
