Introduction & The 15-Year Legacy

The Delhi International Film Festival (DIFF) proudly marks its 15th milestone edition in 2026, celebrating a glorious decade and a half of bringing world cinema to the heart of India's capital. Over the past 15 years, DIFF has evolved into one of Asia's most prestigious cultural events. It serves as a vital bridge between India's vast regional film industries and global filmmakers.
Crucially, DIFF is organized as an official event featuring films exempted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB), Government of India. This prestigious regulatory backing ensures that groundbreaking international narratives, artistic expressions, and diverse cultural voices are screened seamlessly without conventional censorship barriers, maintaining the highest standards of artistic freedom.

Festival Overview & Vision (15th Edition)

Dias do festival.
