Die 11. Ausgabe des Zinetxiki Zinemaldia - Internationales Filmfestival für Kinder und Jugendliche, organisiert vom Kulturverein Begira Elkartea, findet vom 12. bis 27. Dezember 2026 in Bilbao und anderen baskischen Städten und Gemeinden statt.
Zinetxiki Zinemaldia zielt darauf ab, einem Familienpublikum weltweit hochwertige audiovisuelle Inhalte anzubieten. Durch die Projektion ausgewählter Werke in verschiedenen Wettbewerbskategorien möchte das Festival die audiovisuelle Bildung und die Schaffung eines neuen Publikums fördern.
Die Agenda Brasil ist jetzt in ihrer 11. Ausgabe und findet in Mailand statt. Filmvorführungen finden im Spazio Oberdan statt, während andere kulturelle Veranstaltungen an verschiedenen Orten in Mailand stattfinden werden.
Die Agenda Brasil ist die wichtigste Veranstaltung zur brasilianischen Kultur in Italien. Jedes Jahr zeigt es das Beste aus dem zeitgenössischen Brasilien in Film, Musik und Literatur. Das Programm besteht aus mehreren Spiel- und Dokumentarfilmen (noch nicht in Italien veröffentlicht, in Originalsprache mit italienischen Untertiteln) sowie literarischen Cafés, musikalischen Aperitifs, Konzerten, Treffen und Debatten mit Regisseuren. Während der Veranstaltung kann das Publikum der brasilianischen Kultur näher kommen und dabei alle Stereotypen überwinden.
DIE XII Ausgabe des CALI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (FICCALI) wird von der Secretaría de Cultura de la Municipalidad de Cali, Kolumbien organisiert.
FICCALI eröffnet seine Wettbewerbsklasse für nationale Kurzfilme.

Die 10. Ausgabe von PerSo — Perugia Social Film Festival findet vom 27. bis 29. September und vom 3. bis 8. Oktober 2024 in Perugia statt.
„Konzept“. Das Festival beschreibt die Komplexität unserer Welt anhand von Filmen und Geschichten, die über uns sprechen und die berührend, tiefgründig und inspirierend sind. Wichtige und qualitativ hochwertige Filme werden von den bekanntesten internationalen Festivals ausgewählt und von ihren Autoren und Protagonisten präsentiert. PerSo ist ein Festival, bei dem sich Publikum und Künstler, bekannte Regisseure und junge Nachwuchskünstler, treffen und Erfahrungen austauschen können. Es ist ein Festival des Dialogs über Kino, soziale Fragen, künstlerische Forschung, Verbreitung und Unterhaltung.
„Das Festival auf einen Blick“. Cartoon Club — Internationales Festival für Animationskino, Comics und Spiele, das jetzt in seiner 42. Ausgabe stattfindet, ist eines der bekanntesten Festivals der italienischen Szene.
Es ist ein bemerkenswertes Schaufenster für Animationsfilme, insbesondere Kurzfilme, darunter fiktionale, pädagogische, experimentelle und computergrafische Werke, wobei ein ganzer Bereich ausschließlich Comics gewidmet ist: Riminicomix.

ANIMA — Córdoba International Animation Festival ist sowohl eine akademische als auch kulturelle Veranstaltung, die sich speziell der Animation in ihren künstlerischen und technologischen Dimensionen widmet. ANIMA findet jedes Jahr seit 2001 statt und ist das wichtigste Animationsereignis in Argentinien und ein sehr einflussreicher Spieler auf seinem Gebiet in Lateinamerika.

Das Internationale Kansk Video Festival (Russland/Sibirien) ist kein konventionelles Filmfestival. Es ist ein Experiment in Zeit und Raum. Die kleine sibirische Stadt Kansk, wurde im Internet durch Zufall gefunden und ausgewählt, wie sein Name korreliert mit dem Cannes Film Festival, Kansk in der russischen Sprache wird die gleiche wie Cannes ausgesprochen.

Seit 2002 findet das Festival in den Tiefen Sibiriens jährlich statt. Weit weg von der Côte d`Azur zum schweren Taiga-Klima, 7000 km von London, 4500 km von Moskau und 300 km von Krasnojarsk mit der „Eisenstraße“ und der Transsibirischen Eisenbahn. In einem Gebiet voller wunderbarer und mutiger sibirischer Menschen, Pelmeni, Zedernnüsse, sogar Busse erinnern an die alten Schulbusse eines längst verlorenen sowjetischen Ort voller Magie.

With twenty-two years of existence, (the first edition was in 1997) AVANCA Film Festival was awarded first place in 2011 contest of the support film festivals sponsored by ICA / Ministry of Culture.
An additional thematic programming has happened over all these years, giving space to screening of significant works of contemporary cinema appropriately framed in concerns and / or well-defined objectives.
The AVANCA is known as a space for workshops led by personalities of world cinema, and being more than a "master class", has allowed a unique cinema practice. Every year we have always 6 or 7 workshops, bringing together participants from all over Europe. The media have written that this is the largest European area of professional workshops in the field of cinema.
AVANCA is the only festival that congregates a Cinema International Competition, works from the television area, video and new supports of multimedia, with a special concern of exhibit the best world productions done in each category.

Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

The Acharya Tulsi Short Film Festival (ATSFF) will use the power of film makers to further the cause of Peace, Harmony, Social justice, Meditation, Social taboo and Environment on earth. From the outset, the ATSFF envisioned “peace” not as the absence of conflict but as a framework for channelizing, processing and resolving conflicts through respectful and non-violent means.The ATSFF, the primary project of Acharya Tulsi Shanti Pratishthan, is a non-profit festival established to celebrate and encourage the work of independent filmmakers from around the country on the theme of peace, harmony, social justice, meditation, social taboo and environment. Jeder Kurzfilm, der bei Cortos con ña eingegangen ist, wird von einem Komitee von Filmexperten sorgfältig geprüft, das für die Auswahl der besten Kurzfilme verantwortlich ist, die auf unserem Festival eingegangen sind.
Das Internationale Festival für Fantastik- und Horrorfilme in Tàrrega - Galacticat, das seit 2014 jedes Jahr stattfindet, ist das erste und einzige Fantasy- und Horrorfilmfestival in den Ländern von Lleida, das sich an alle Kinogänger im Allgemeinen und an Liebhaber von Science Fiction und Terror im Besonderen richtet und eine klare divulgative Berufung verfolgt. Das Galacticat wurde als Initiative ins Leben gerufen, um die universellen Science-Fiction-Klassiker für die breite Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen und in diese Kultur einzutauchen, die das Universum des Kinos seit seinen Anfängen geprägt hat. Im Laufe der Jahre ist das Galacticat gewachsen und hat immer mehr Bürger in dieses Filmfestival einbezogen. Die programmierten Aktivitäten, Partys, Konzerte, Vorführungen, die Besucherzahlen, die Branchenaktivitäten und die Reaktion der Filmindustrie wurden schrittweise erhöht.
Zagreb Green Fest is a pilot project from the Non governmental organization RIO – Zagreb, who, through cinema, education, expositions and activity programs dedicated to the ecology and environmental protection, encourages a culture of life with respect for nature.
The entry to the festival is free.
The festival program is divided into three sections:
- Green Genre
- Green Classroom
- Green Career.
The cinema portion of the festival, the “Green Genre” is divided into two segments: the competitive short film side and the “runway”, where everything is presented. The program has an international feeling, the festival participants would have the possibility to see various local films, European and international films with the subject of ecology, earth’s protection and other subjects linked with these themes. The objective here is to encourage university, primary and secondary school students to include themselves into the festival, alone or in a group. They can produce amateur films there, and can present them during the second part of the Green Genre.
The Green Classroom is an educational part of the festival, to enlighten people creatively with the help of experts.
The activities for the students are very important. They include workshops and conferences, as well as demonstrations. Next to the workshops, the festival participants could see shows for all ages.
The Green Career proposes a program full of shows, where various “green” products will be shown, as well as inventions and initiatives.
Green Career is a segment of the festival directed towards an ecological area, for students and professionals. Companies with important information’s will be present to aid students with what they need for a chance at a future job.
The ministries will also present their plans and programs, and the possibilities for the future graduates. Their participation will be taken into account by the faculties which will demonstrate their paths leading to the mentioned domains, and the individuals whose projects have been put in place.
There will be a free addition to the festival, where there will be free yoga classes, dance classes and meditation throughout the whole festival, as well as a presentation of bio food producers and art works depicting ecological subjects.
