GZDOC è l'unica piattaforma professionale a livello statale con funzioni di finanziamento e negoziazione documentali ed è diventata la pioniera dell'industria documentaria cinese, presentando le politiche industriali nazionali e le tendenze di sviluppo internazionali. ① Concorso Golden Kapok Award
La sezione Concorso è dedicata a premiare documentari eccezionali in grado di promuovere lo scambio di varie culture, comunicare emozioni e valori universali attraverso eccellenti tecniche cinematografiche e una produzione di alto livello. Questa sezione non contiene proiezioni pubbliche. Se il team di produzione ha l'intenzione di farlo, si prega di registrarsi anche alla sezione di proiezione.
② Proiezione Golden Kapok
Questa è la sezione di proiezione non competitiva che mira a presentare al pubblico una varietà di film documentari, mostrando al pubblico gli ultimi film con brillanti capacità narrative, espressioni autentiche o narrazioni sperimentali.
③ SEZIONE GZDOC PITCHING
GZDOC recluta progetti in corso da e verso il mercato globale.
La 21a edizione inviterà acquirenti cinesi e internazionali, emittenti e attori chiave del settore come decisori, con l'obiettivo di sviluppare la prevendita, la coproduzione e la commissione di progetti documentari.
④ GZDOC DOCSHOP
Il DOCSHOP è un marketplace aperto tutto l'anno per registi, distributori, acquirenti e commissari, ecc. Contiene tre tipi di modalità di cooperazione in materia di copyright:
1) Sistema di screening su richiesta
Il DOCSHOP allestirà un'area di proiezione presso la sede di GZDOC. I partecipanti guarderanno i film inviati a DOCSHOP attraverso il sistema di proiezione su richiesta. Verranno quindi generati report sulle proiezioni, che registreranno gli interessi di acquisto degli spettatori. Lo staff di GZDOC elaborerà queste richieste dopo il festival.
Se necessario, il DOCSHOP istituirà anche un sistema di screening online su richiesta sul sito ufficiale (www.gzdoc.cn). Il sistema on demand online sarà disponibile solo per gli ospiti registrati e pubblicherà solo trailer di film.
2) Funzionamento quotidiano
Il GZDOC DOCSHOP continuerà a consigliare film su varie piattaforme nel tentativo di facilitare gli scambi durante tutto l'anno.
3) Proiezioni di settore
Gli Industry Screenings sono proiezioni di film presso la sede GZDOC per delegati registrati e professionisti del settore. Si potrebbe organizzare una pubblicità sul posto, nel tentativo di promuovere i film.

#MIRAYESCUCHADIFERENTE
Secondo il concetto di Converging Boundaries, CINETORO 2026 propone un quadro curatoriale ispirato alla forza della collisione tettonica. Proprio come, in geologia, un confine convergente è lo spazio in cui due placche si scontrano per distruggere quelle vecchie e sollevare nuove catene montuose e vulcani, questa edizione cerca film in cui l'impatto tra le lingue generi nuovi modi di vedere e sentire. Ci allontaniamo dalla lettura statica delle mappe — quelle divisioni arbitrarie di punti e linee — per concentrarci invece sull'energia che emerge all'interno della zona di contatto, dove l'attrito tra l'umano e il non umano, o tra il qui e l'altrove, costruisce nuove geografie narrative.
CINETORO 2026 richiede opere che esplorino i processi di collisione ed emergenza. Cerchiamo film che utilizzino la sperimentazione come strumento per offuscare i confini politici e sociali, proponendo prospettive che riconoscano la continuità della giungla o la vastità del deserto oltre le finzioni geografiche. Come si trasforma la percezione quando la forma cinematografica stessa diventa il risultato di uno scontro di forze?
In questa edizione, il confine non è un muro impenetrabile, ma una zona vivente della creazione; uno spazio di rischio formale che sfida categorie prestabilite e ci permette di capire, attraverso il cinema ai margini, quali nuove unioni emergono quando osiamo abitare lo stato liminale. Cerchiamo film che abitino l'interstizio: lo spazio che esiste esattamente al centro della linea, che invita il pubblico a vivere un'esperienza cinematografica in cui i generi non si intersecano semplicemente, ma si trasformano a vicenda. Siamo interessati a un cinema di ibridazione in cui documentario, animazione e fiction funzionano come placche tettoniche in costante movimento.
Questo è un invito a un cinema che non abbia paura di attraversare e dissolvere i confini; un cinema che abita la periferia e la frontiera per sollevare, dai margini, nuove e necessarie montagne di immaginazione.

International Shorts è un festival cinematografico che proietta film selezionati alla fine di ogni stagione (Primavera, Estate, Autunno e Inverno). I migliori film del Festival saranno proiettati il 30 gennaio 2021 all'Angelika Theater, Union Market, Washington DC
Lo scopo del festival si riferisce alla consapevolezza sia dei filtri esterni sullo schermo, inclusa la censura (commerciale, ideologica, estetica), sia dei filtri interni della percezione e della proiezione dello schermo, inclusa l'autocensura. NEFILTRAVANAE KINO è un'esplorazione dell'estetizzazione e della mercificazione nell'arte. PROBLEMA DI ALIENAZIONE
Viviamo in un mondo di centri commerciali e cinema multisala. Vediamo che il cinema indipendente e l'arte non commerciale vanno alla periferia dell'attenzione del pubblico. Le attrazioni primitive sostituiscono la cinematografia. Il pubblico di Escape si sente alienato dietro il grande schermo. Quindi il cinema mainstream moderno fa parte di uno strumento di manipolazione che porta alla società dell'alienazione. Quindi la tendenza è che il cinema indipendente diventi più illeggibile per il vasto pubblico. Dovremmo capire il contesto del regista per comprendere il cinema indipendente. Ecco perché il concetto di NEFILTRAVANAE KINO implica la presenza fisica dei registi.
PROBLEMA DI SELEZIONE DEI FILM
I registi girano milioni di film. E migliaia di festival di cortometraggi organizzano proiezioni in tutto il mondo ogni anno. In media, diverse migliaia di film vengono presentati a un festival cinematografico. Quindi vari buoni film possono essere trascurati per qualsiasi motivo. Spesso selezionare la probabilità è come vincere alla lotteria. Di conseguenza, i registi non hanno alcun feedback. È un paradosso che nessuno possa sentirti nell'era di Internet! La cultura tradizionale predilige le attrazioni e la visione informale.
Inoltre, questa idea si basa sul problema della selezione dei film. Forse non sorprende che una persona, vale a dire il direttore del programma nella migliore delle ipotesi, o anche gli studenti delle scuole di cinema prendano una decisione preliminare sulla selezione di un film. La concordanza tra giudici o spettatori è più rara della differenza di background e gusti. Quindi la selezione o il giudizio possono essere unilaterali o superficiali. Non è male perché il direttore del programma ha buon gusto e sensibilità estetica, ovviamente. Ma abbiamo scoperto un'altra concezione di «cinema non filtrato». L'abbiamo confrontato con il metodo «il meglio del meglio». Questo modo aiuta a percepire l'idioma cinematografico senza il dettato dei curatori d'arte.
CELEBRAZIONE DEL CINEMA INDIPENDENTE
Quindi NoFilter Kino cerca di evitare il «meglio del meglio» ma non lo ignora completamente, certo. Il festival seleziona sezioni di finzione, animazione, documentario, sperimentale e realtà virtuale. Una giuria premia il miglior film in ogni sezione. Il festival organizza le proiezioni nelle sale cinematografiche, nel Centro nazionale per le arti contemporanee e negli spazi artistici.
Il nostro obiettivo è riunire le persone nell'arte, dialogare per essere felici con una comunicazione intelligente.
Il cinema è arte ma non sport. Il punto chiave del nostro progetto è stabilire una comunicazione tra il regista e il pubblico.

Bucharest Film Awards promotes short and feature films from around the world with 18 awards in 3 categories. Only films accepted in our Official Selection are eligible to screenings.
All submitted films will be reviewed by a jury of film professionals, that will look for creativity, talent, powerful ideas, quality and attention to details, regardless of the experience of those involved in the creation process and the budget of the submitted works.
The Film Competition will be a 3-day event that will include thematic workshops, live screening events, industry talks and networking cocktails.
In addition to the Film Competition, we created Spotlight with the aim of better promoting the best submitted projects. We will screen the best 10 films submitted in the first 6 months of the year.
The East Coast Film Festival is an independent film festival for lovers of independent film. The festival is based at the Savoy Hotel on the Lincolnshire coast. Entry for students and Linconshire based films & filmmakers is free! ( proof required )
All film genres are accepted at the East Coast Festival with a focus on low budget independent films. Selected Film makers are invited to attend the screenings and awards ceremony on 3rd September. The selected films will also have the opportunity to be included in The East Coast Anthology DVD compilation which will be available exclusively through the East Coast Film Festival website with all proceeds donated to Starlight Children's charity.
Da CINESPACIO vogliamo focalizzare questa edizione del festival su quelle opere che si sono concentrate sulle condizioni migratorie e il loro rapporto con le forme audiovisive di produzione. Proponiamo di interpretare il confine come uno spazio in cui nascono e entrano in conflitto identità transnazionali; uno spazio in cui si generano nuove reti e comunità emotive e sono in movimento perpetuo; uno spazio in cui affrontano le sfide del riconoscimento individuale e dell'appartenenza alla comunità. Se il confine è ciò che delimita chi siamo, attraversare le frontiere comporta, allora, la sfida di essere qualcun altro e di saper essere qualcun altro attraverso il riavvicinamento e il contatto, tenendo presente che il contenuto ai confini, toccato dall'esterno, non sarà più lo stesso.
ANTOFACINE, l'Antofagasta International Film Festival, è un luogo di incontro per registi nazionali e internazionali; sulla base di questa premessa vorremmo contribuire a:
● Promuovere film di fiction, saggistica e animazione come strumenti per la trasformazione culturale e sociale a beneficio di tutti i residenti della regione di Antofagasta.

Il Festival del cinema di Saragozza, fondato nel 1995 per creare un'attività cinematografica in città. All'inizio il suo titolo principale era Young Filmmakers. Dal 2007 il suo nome ufficiale è diventato Zaragoza Film Festival.

Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

In addition to being one of the most dynamic festivals, one of the most popular attractions that the Great Lakes International Film Festival offers to Filmmakers is our home, Erie Pennsylvania. As one of the most unique communities, Erie proffers an amazing landscape that is as diverse as the people that make up its City.
Seated on the shores of Lake Erie, the beautiful Presque Isle State Park is a peninsula with amazing beaches and trails that curve around Presque Isle Bay. This 3,112-acre park boasts 13 miles of roads, 21 miles of recreational trails, 13 beaches for swimming, a myriad of wildlife and a lovely marina.
Nearby, Waldameer Amusement Park & Water World has roller coasters and waterslides along with many other attractions to engage visiting Filmmakers and attendees alike. The Erie Maritime Museum traces the history of Lake Erie and is the homeport of the US Brig Niagara, a historic 19th-century ship.
Only a few blocks away the Erie Art Museum features a very impressive collection of 20th-century works, while a number of local playhouses deliver off-Broadway-style stage plays regularly.
Erie Pa also features a cornucopia of stunning historic architecture throughout, including the very impres-sive West Sixth Street Historic District, otherwise known as Millionaire's Row. Consisting of 117 beautiful buildings originally constructed in the Victorian era by lumber, banking, and Manufacturing barons such as Peter Herdic as their homes. Millionaire's Row now stands as a remarkable testament to an age long past.
In addition to awarding outstanding Filmmakers with Best of Genre Awards, our Festival offers an audience Choice Award to the Filmmaker whose film is the most popular with our attendees, and that receives the most attendee votes.
Since our inception, the Great Lakes International Film Festival has showcased more than 4,000 films, and has played host to countless celebrities and actors, and has amassed a formidable catalog of exceptionally high caliber Independent Films and career launches, with countless films that have gone on to be screened on the Sundance Channel, IFC, PBS and HBO along with so many more filmmakers who have received dis-tribution deals after screening in our festival.
While the success of the GLIFF has not come from an excess of big-name celebrities crowding its red car-pet, we feel that it instead is rooted in the much more important attention to detail that we offer, and most significantly, the very personal way in which we interact with each and every Filmmaker who has allowed us the honor of presenting their films over the past 25 years, doing our best to make each Filmmaker a part of our Festival family with ties that bind far beyond only one festival season.

Though we have never focused on the big name Hollywood celebrities, still our Festival has played host to numerous special guests that include, writer, producer Bill Hinzman of Flesheaters and Night of the Living Dead; director Lloyd Kaufman of the Toxic Avenger films, Pot Zombies, and President of Troma Films; ac-tor Gunnar Hansen of Texas Chainsaw Massacre; actor and director Mark Borchardt of American Movie and Coven; Erick Rodgers (Writer of NYPD Blue); best-selling mystery author Jamian Snow (Shrouded Insani-ty); John Hancock (“Hill Street Blues”, “The Twilight Zone”, & California Dreaming); actress and “Scream Queen” Debbie Rochon (Blood Relic, Vampyre Tales, & Lord of the Undead); Bobby Logan (Meatballs 4 & Repossessed), along with so many more.
As one of the premier film festivals worldwide, the Great Lakes International Film Festival held its inaugural festival in the fall of 2002, welcoming internationally acclaimed celebrities like Dirk Benedict, best known for his work on Battlestar Galactica and A-Team, along with Hollywood script guru Harri James who worked as script supervisor for blockbuster films and TV Shows as ER, Alias, Tremors II: Aftershocks, and Tremors 4: The Legend Begins, to name only a few.
In that same year, B.J. and the Bear & Up in Smoke producer, Otto Felix visited the festival along with the renowned Keith Carradine being presented with a lifetime achievement award for his dedication and con-tributions to indie film.
Since that time, the Great Lakes International Film Festival has had many films go on to greatness like “The Derby Stallion” which was released through Echo Bridge Home Entertainment, a subsidiary of Disney, and Director Joel Miller’s film “The Still Life” that received distribution through Warner Home Video after having been screened at the festival.
As far back as 2004, the Great Lakes International Film Festival had the proud pleasure to present the North East United States Premiere of “SAW”, Lions Gate Films’ gripping psychological thriller starring Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Monica Potter, and Leigh Whannel.
The legendary Terry Moore was our special guest of honor and was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her amazing accomplishments in film over the past 60 years, while international recording su-perstar Dizzy Reed of Guns ‘N Roses performed before a capacity crowd at our Film Festival.
Considered among the most popular film festivals in the world, the 25th annual Great Lakes International Film Festival genre categories for feature-length and short-length films are Narrative, Documentary, Expe-rimental, Religious/Spiritual, Animation, Comedy, Horror, with Horror sub-genres that include Supernatural, Thrillers, Wicken, Magical, Slashers, Science Fiction, Suspense, Horror Documentary, Horror Animation and all genres of Music Videos and GLBT films for the 2026 festival.
If there is anything as universal as the ageless storytelling of motion pictures, it’s the music that makes up life’s soundtrack. The 2026 Great Lakes International Film Festival shall accept Music Videos from around the world of cross-continent and cross-genre productions. We shall accept Music Videos of all genres from Pop, Punk, Rock, Alt-Country, Country-Western, Folk, Reggae, Hip-Hop to Electronica, Jazz, Blues, Zydeco, Industrial, Metal, Hardcore, Gothic, Karaoke, Avant-Garde, World Music, and Experimental, and all other genres that may not be listed here.
The 2026 Great Lakes International Film Festival will accept all forms of Religious, Christian, and Spiritual films including African, African-American, GLBT, Black, Hispanic, Islamic, Latino, Native/Aboriginal, and student films from the United States and around the world.
From the feature narrative genre to documentary to animation; experimental, horror, and Spiritual films, the Great Lakes International Film Festival celebrates the film arts in dynamic transition.
