The second Festival Internacional de Curtmetratges de la Bisbal d’Empordà will take place on August 3 – 5, 2017 at Torre Maria gardens.
After almost 2.500 submissions from more than 100 countries and about 600 total viewers in the last edition, FIC.BiE will continue on working to keep film activities in la Bisbal d’Empordà.
This year will consist in two different sections: one will be the international section and the second one will be the one with specific production from Girona “GiCurts”.
Short films selected on both sections will also participate in a poster design contest. The exhibition will be available weeks before the event will take place and will be placed in an indoor location of la Bisbal (to be determined).
On 2016 we also organised some workshops for high schools of the village and we collaborated with the women’s collective, organising a micro short film contest against gender violence.
Il Caostica International Short Film and Music Video Festival è stato riconosciuto dall'Accademia delle Arti e delle Scienze Cinematografiche di Spagna come festival qualificante nelle categorie dei cortometraggi per i premi Goya.

Caostica è un festival internazionale di cortometraggi e video musicali che si svolge a Bilbao (Paesi Baschi) con le seguenti sezioni: Videozinema (cortometraggi di finzione), Animazione e Videoclip (Video musicali).
Tutti i premi sono assegnati da una giuria professionale ad eccezione del Bizarre Prize. L'Associazione Caostica assegnerà il Premio Bizarre al partecipante che meglio rappresenterà lo spirito fresco, innovativo, eccentrico, irriverente, marziano, burlone, strano, rischioso, coraggioso e audace che caratterizza questo festival, indipendentemente dalla sezione in cui è iscritto. Inoltre, il Festival assegnerà altri premi come: un premio al miglior film in lingua basca (indipendentemente dalla sezione in cui è iscritto); un premio al miglior cortometraggio spagnolo; un premio alla migliore opera prodotta o coprodotta in America Latina.

The Fine Arts Film Festival (FAFF) is dedicated to showing the finest films in the world about art, photography, collectors and artists of all mediums in and out of their studios, galleries, museums, public art, and alternative art spaces. This includes video art, curated as a film medium.
The 5th Annual Fine Arts Film Festival will be held on May 10-12, 2018. We're opening up with the VR Section of the Festival at Creative Technology Center on May 10, then moving to the historic Beyond Baroque Literary Arts Center Theatre on May 11-12, which is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary in 2018.
The 4th Annual 2017 Fine Arts Film festival was held on May 12-13th with celebrities and luminaries from both the art and entertainment worlds hosted by the Venice Institute of Contemporary Art at the Creative Technology Center at The Brewery Art Lofts, Art Share LA, and at the historic Beyond Baroque Theatre in Venice, California.
We screened 48 films from around the world, with over 170 submissions.

Our History

Student Cuts film festival is aimed at young authors in the early stages of their film careers. Their independence lets them work on unconventional, creative, energetic and subtle ideas. Such films are an important insight into the local environments and everyday themes seen from a different perspective. By joining Student Cuts network the authors not only gain access to the big screen, but a network of audiences all over Europe, contacts with experts and simply gain exposure. In the end, films are made to be watched.
Bašta Fest è un festival internazionale di cortometraggi che si tiene a Bajina Bašta, nella Serbia occidentale. Si tratta di un evento annuale che si svolge durante il primo fine settimana di luglio e dura quattro giorni. A causa della professione dei fondatori (attori Jovan Jelisavčić e Maja Šuša), il principale punto di interesse del festival è la collaborazione tra registi e attori. Riteniamo che concentrarsi sulla qualità di questo sforzo artistico congiunto avrà un impatto positivo sul posizionamento di Bašta Fest tra i festival di cortometraggi. Bašta Fest è di grande importanza per il decentramento della cultura poiché ha portato film, musica e programmi diversi in questa splendida regione. L'ingresso a tutte le proiezioni a Bašta è gratuito, mentre sono sempre tenute sotto il cielo notturno aperto. Attualmente ci sono due location ufficiali del festival: il parco Borići e il lago Perućac.

EVENT DATES. The XXII edition of the Guanajuato International Film Festival will be celebrated from July 19-28, 2019, in the cities of San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato, Mexico.
KloosterKino is the place to be for animated shorts in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Three times a year we show the best animated shorts from all over the world in a friendly setting. The screenings take place in a historic cloister, which dates back to 1909, and are not subject to admission.
KloosterKino shows work by young filmmakers, but also pays attention to classic animated film. Throughout the year we also work with other festivals and cultural organizations to arrange screenings of animated shorts.
But why animated shorts? Well, first of all, because we love them! But also because too few animated shorts are shown theatrically in the Netherlands. KloosterKino wants to show animation in all its diversity: from stop-motion to CGI, from narrative to abstract, homegrown and from far away. In doing so, we hope to aid in the diffusion of the artistic animated short.
We intend to be an alternative to the larger animation festivals by offering screenings which are both accessible and challenging. We stand for high quality animated film in welcoming surroundings. Our target audience is not just the animation aficionado, but also those who normally don’t watch animation, but are open to a surprising and stimulating program of films.

We continue to accept submissions but please not your film will be submitted to the 2020 edition NOT 2019. This is due to Government elections on Madeira.

The entry fee is 30 / 40 / 50 Euros depending upon submissions date and irrespective of genre and running time. Exhibiting filmmakers will be offered 3 nights accommodation including breakfast on Madeira during the festival.

The Madeira Film Festival is non – competitive. Rather than present awards MFF offers delegates the status of ‘AMBASSADOR OF THE LAURISSILVA’ thus helping to preserve and create awareness of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva forest.
The Madeira Film Festival organisation fervently believes there is no better place in the world to stage a film festival than on the piquant Island of Madeira and there is no better place on Madeira to stage a film festival than in glorious Reid’s Palace Hotel and the Municipal Theatre in Funchal.
The crux of the Madeira Film Festival is to pay homage to the resilience of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva Forest by screening a slate of films which are expansive, unsettling and profound,films which will hopefully impinge upon the viewers imagination.

The Cardiff Mini Film Festival has been taking over unusual venues to screen film since 2012. To ensure any newcomers to the industry aren't obliterated by any high budget production companies we separate our fiction programming into high budget and low budget, so please ensure you tell us what your budget was for the actual making of the film (marketing and distribution excluded).
You can expect to watch a film in a coffee shop vault, a shopping centre basement, an antique market, themed bars and any other fantastic unusual venues we can get our hands-on. This is a festival for those that like to mingle with a drink throughout the day whilst enjoying the best up and coming short films.
All kinds of people come to our festival, from actors to musicians, as well as special guests from within the industry which in the past have included Boyd Clack (Twin Town, Satellite City, High Hopes), Kirsten Jones (Satellite City, High Hopes), Philip John (Being Human, Kevin Allen (Twin Town), Downton Abbey) Ryan Eddleston (Prevenge), Kevin Allen (Twin Town), S4C, Ffilm Cymru Wales, Creative Skillset, Festival Formula, Cult Cymru and many more people to meet to discuss your career in the industry.
We also screen many special under distributed films for those film lovers out there, in underused spaces such as bars and empty shops.
