La Muestra de Cine Internacional de Palencia está organizada por la Asociación Amigos del Cine y la Universidad Popular de Palencia.

Tiene 35 años de trayectoria, con una filosofía en la que el cine es una herramienta de cohesión y desarrollo social y cultural.

Nuestro festival es colaborador con la Academia de Cine Española, siendo calificador de los premios GOYA en la sección cortometraje. Además, el cortometraje galardonado con el primer premio del jurado en la MCIP (el Premio Milagros Alcalde) accederá directamente a la Short List finalista de los Premios FUGAZ, integrando la terna de los trabajos que serán luego evaluados para su nominación por la comisión que falla cada año estos reconocimientos.

Iron Mule es la única serie mensual de cortometrajes de Nueva York, que proyecta comedias narrativas, documentales, animadas y experimentales de todo el mundo. En nuestros 15 años hemos presentado más de 1.000 películas, incluyendo trabajos tempranos de muchos cineastas y comediantes famosos como Stephen Colbert, Seth Macfarlane, Lena Dunham, Aziz Ansari, Abbi Jacobson e Ilana Galzer.

Cada proyección cuenta con un juez invitado del mundo del cine, la comedia, la televisión o la escena artística de Nueva York. Los anfitriones Jay Stern y Victor Varnado entrevistan a los cineastas durante el espectáculo, y cada proyección es seguida de una fiesta después, en la que cineastas y miembros del público pueden mezclarse.

Además, Iron Mule produce el concurso «Wanna Be a Star», en el que un miembro del público es elegido para protagonizar una nueva película dirigida por un cineasta de Iron Mule que se mostrará en la proyección del mes siguiente.

The Iron Mule es un festival abierto y accesible dedicado a fomentar una comunidad de cineastas y aficionados al cine.

Luxor African Film Festival is organized by Independent Shabab Foundation, which is a civil and nonprofit organization cooperates with the culture developed fund & other entities . The festival is organized under the auspices of significant Egyptian Ministries and other organizations.

Zinegoak es un festival organizado por la Asociación Zinegoak Elkartea que tendrá lugar en la ciudad de Bilbao el mes de junio de 2026.

Podrán participar en Zinegoak 2026 todas aquellas películas y obras escénicas que aborden o muestren la diversidad sexual, de identidad, género y familiar y de las distintas realidades LGTBIQ+, que hayan finalizado su producción con posterioridad al 1 de enero de 2024 y que no hayan sido estrenadas comercialmente en el País Vasco antes de la celebración del festival.

El LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) es el primer escaparate de experimentación en medios basados en cine, video y audio de Los Ángeles. Se centra en el cine vanguardista, art-house, independiente y de bajo presupuesto, con la quinta edición que tendrá lugar en julio de 2020, en Los Ángeles.

Nuestro programa ofrece un lugar para que los cineastas reinventen y exploren nuevos enfoques, fomenten nuevas formas de arte mediático y construyan una audiencia para este tipo de trabajo. Nuestro objetivo es presentar una amplia gama de trabajos explorando las múltiples definiciones e interpretaciones del concepto de «underground».

Buscamos películas hechas con pasión, obsesión y motivación; películas que vayan más allá de las expectativas y el género; películas, proyectos de vídeo y audio que se esfuercen por superar los límites de la forma y el contenido aceptados. Un fuerte sentido de autoría es una necesidad.

LAUFF acepta todas las formas y géneros: desde drama, documental, experimental, culto, art-house, lengua extranjera, comedia, terror, ciencia ficción, fantasía, animación, LGBT, indígena, erótica hasta cine lento y videoarte...

El Festival Internacional BioBioCine es un encuentro intercultural de conocimientos y saberes expresados desde el cine. Su objetivo es convertirse en un espacio de diálogo y reflexión, además de difundir, promover, apoyar y valorar la cinematografía nacional e internacional desde una perspectiva territorial e identitaria, en el marco de su reunión anual.

El Festival Internacional BioBioCine invita a participar con obras provenientes de todos los países y culturas en su undécima edición. Su programación incluye categorías competitivas y no competitivas, de largometrajes y cortometrajes, tanto de ficción como de no ficción, con énfasis en el cine de autor, nuevos realizadores, experimentación, diálogo intercultural y las primeras naciones.

La primera edición de la versión peruana de El Día Más Corto, a cargo de la productora Ingenio Project 89 Films, con el apoyo del colectivo Paremos el Acoso Callejero.

El objetivo principal de nuestro evento es celebrar el cortometraje, mediante la proyección y competencia de este género generen sensibilización y educación mediante el tratamiento de temas sociales.

Este 2016, el tema de la competencia es el Acoso Callejero en la sociedad peruana.

Buscamos con ello, hacer reflexionar y promover el desarrollo de la equidad de género y el libre ejercicio de derechos en los espacios públicos de las mujeres. Por hacemos extensa la invitación a todos los realizadores a nivel nacional a participar de nuestro evento.

Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.

We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.

We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

he Berlin Independent Film Festival is at the epicentre for low-budget filmmaking in Europe. While the Berlin Independent Film Festival is not connected with the Berlin Film Festival (Berlinale), BIFF runs at the same time, and not far from the European Film Market and draws on all the film industry power gathered in Berlin for those events.

El Festival de Cine Fantástico Europeo SOMBRA es un proyecto que pretende difundir y servir de referencia al cine fantástico producido en Europa, así como apoyar la producción europea, nacional y regional de género.

Sofia Menar Film Festival está organizado por la compañía Pozor.
Sofía MENAR Film Festival hace que el público búlgaro conozca la cultura y las tradiciones del mundo islámico. El programa del Sofia MENAR Film Festival presenta lo mejor de las producciones cinematográficas de Oriente Medio y Norte de África, incluyendo largometrajes, documentales y proyectos cortos. Muchos eventos de acompañamiento se organizan en el marco del festival. El término MENAR, que significa «Oriente Medio y África del Norte», es un acrónimo que se utiliza a menudo para abarcar una extensa zona, que abarca desde Marruecos hasta el Irán, incluida la mayoría de los países del Oriente Medio y del Magreb.
