축제는 매년 1 월에 개최되며 소피아 및 기타 주요 불가리아 도시에서 동시에 실행됩니다. MENAR는 무슬림 세계와 그 전통을 대표하는 일종의 발칸인들의 가장 큰 문화 행사 중 하나로 “Pozor”가 주관합니다.

소피아 메나르 영화제는 2009년부터 2012년까지 4년 동안 개최된 “퀴란의 꽃” 영화제의 전통을 이어가고 있으며, 불가리아 관객들은 동양의 정신을 이끌어내는 120개 이상의 영화제작에 대해 알게 되었습니다.
MENAR라는 용어는 “중동 및 북아프리카 지역”에 대해 종종 중동 및 Maghreb 국가의 대부분을 포함하여 모로코에서 이란까지 뻗어 광범위한 지역을 커버하는 데 사용되는 약어입니다.
Ascona Film Festival started on the social networks and after 5 years received more than 12000 submissions form 95 countries.
The Ascona Film Festival success is due to the concept of a nice VIP film festival in the legendary Ascona Venue at the Hotel Ascona.
Admission to the projection is on invitation only to selected VIP international personalities.
Through the magic of films, Pokhara International Mountain Film Festival hopes to educate and inform locals about the changes and developments in various fields in regards to mountain communities from around the world as well as Nepal. The festival hopes to inspire the members of the communities to come together and work hand in hand for the betterment of their environment. It hopes to force people to reflect back on their shortcomings as a society in preservation of their culture and promises to amend them. The 9th Annual Back in the Box Competition (BIB), offers some of the lowest submission fees with some of the highest acceptance rates on the festival circuit.
Because BIB is a competition and a film festival, we are able to review many more submissions to give more artists a greater chance to showcase their work.
BIB provides an exciting platform for ambitious filmmakers and screenwriters to showcase their skills in direct competition with other creative artists.
Featuring a diverse array of competitive categories (including Best Feature Screenplay, Best Short Screenplay, Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, and Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director and many others), BIB works to shatter the boundaries placed not only between genres but also between undiscovered talents and eager audiences. We are looking for the Best of the Best in the field of entertainment. And we are hoping you are prepared the meet the competition head on.
A slew of prizes are available through participation in BIB. Several of prior year's winning screenplays have already moved into production, and some films had secured distribution. There's no telling what sort of remarkable stories or careers this year's competition will unleash.
This is a film and screenplay competition. All preliminary judging is done by a panel of industry professionals and is open to the public to participate, but the film finalists will be screened in beautiful Santa Monica California and final judging will be made with voting by the attending audience.

The finalists in the Film competition will be screened in the Ocean Screening Room in beautiful Santa Monica, California the premier digital cinema in Santa Monica. What better way to start your Christmas vacation than to see a film on the coast of sunny California. Here, you will experience a breathtaking vista of the Pacific Ocean from the theater entrance. Chosen by Universal, Disney, Paramount and Sony as the Santa Monica Academy Awards screening venue, Ocean Screening also screens for Grammy Awards as well as Sundance.
The Ocean Screening Room is located at 1401 Ocean Ave, 1st floor (cross street Santa Monica Blvd.). Ocean Screening shares the same building as Sushi Roku and Water Grill. The screening room is located on the lobby level. Directions can be found here:

This is an exclusive event for participants who are serious about moving forward with projects and will be an informal mix between actors, producers and directors. The people who hold the exclusive “Screening” tickets will be the final set of judges for the films that have progressed to the final round. They will decide which lucky filmmakers will take home the prizes in each category.
Discussion topics include how actors can make contact to directors and producers of indie films when they’re available and ready to work. Directors attending will include filmmakers who have active projects they want to move forward with. Producers attending will include representatives who are actively searching for key projects to invest in. Representatives from Fernleif Productions will also be in attendance looking for projects to expand their portfolio including films and talent for not only short films investment, but for additional talent for creating content for electronic games and applications. Stonefair International Film Festival is an online and live film festival, headquartered in Piatra-Neamt, Romania. Stonefair IFF is committed to supporting access to film in all of Piatra-Neamt community as well as supporting young film makers in their education.
The festival runs in 3 quarters, selections and screenings being made every 4 months, the third edition is due to take place on the 8th of May, 2017.
There will be 16 categories and Best Film will receive the Stonefair IFF Trophy, the winning films will be screened at the "G. T. Kirileanu" Public Library.

We accept feature and short films and documentaries, screenplays, photos, and music videos. Juries, consist of professionals in the film and music industry, will judge the quality of each submission carefully. The Student Film Prize Serge Daney is a competition for short films by students of any films studies organism (public or private). The competitors have to speak French to be able to take advantage of the main Prize.
There is no theme, but the spirit of the Serge Daney Film Prize can be told through a Serge Daney quote : "a film must convey a point of view, a vision of the world, that give it it's sense, it's logic" (Serge Daney, "Perseverance").
The Vieques International Film Festival 2017 is designed to provide exposure to filmmakers of Puerto Rican, Hispanic, and Latino heritage. Euregion Shorts Film Festival offers you a three-days festival experience with the best films from all over the world (maximum duration: 20 minutes, every genre), an award show, workshops, seminars and more.
For the traveling program, every two months an event will be organized in a different city in the Euregion in which the best and most remarkable films from the Meuse-Rhine Euregion will be screened. Each event, an experienced professional will be invited to share his or her knowledge.

Kan-Kan Media is pleased to announce the second edition of “A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS FESTIVAL” Shanghai.
“A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS FESTIVAL” is a unique film event that aims to bring together Chinese film and art institutions, film professionals, students and audience in Shanghai and create a platform to exchange and promote the diversity of the world cinema. During 10 days the festival will present more than 200 short films selected from more than 60 countries around the world.
“A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS” Festival is the result of the collaboration between Kan-Kan Media and Chinese art and film institutions like Minsheng Museum of Contemporary Arts in Shanghai (official host of the Festival) and Shanghai Film Art Academy. It arises from the need to create a platform for a dialogue and exchange between film professionals, students, film communities and audiences taking as a reference point Shanghai/China.
The previous edition of LWSF was a huge success with more than 2000 submissions, 200 films selected and 10 days of film screenings, workshops, talks, music concerts and dance performances attended by 1000+ film-lovers, among them film professionals, students, film communities and artists of other disciplines.
This year the focus will be on the discovery of emerging talents both internationally and in China in order to bring them into the public spotlight and offer them the opportunities for networking and a platform where ideas and work can be exchanged among a new generation of film creators worldwide.
The festival has two main categories: International Section and Chinese Section, accompanied by showcases of outstanding festivals from various countries, as well as workshops, master-classes and other special events.
All the films meeting the submission criteria will be considered for the International Short Film Competition Award for Best Short Film, Best Director, Audience and Outstanding Story Award.
