Our selections has included world premieres from 5 continents, academy award winning short films, Sundance award winning films, and other countless and award winning film premieres.

We strive to show and bring out all the local talent to support each other as well as support all the filmmakers from out of town showcasing their work. The festival has for 5 years been a launching pad for cross promoting what Philly has to offer the film world and what the world has to offer for the budding Philadelphia Film Community.
Event runs for 4 hours, with a big networking party going on in the lobby area. News outlets and press are active at this event. Celebrities from all walks of life have shown up at this event. We are only accepting online screeners. There are a variety of ways to submit your screener to us (YouTube, Vimeo, or through one of the online submission services). This will SAVE YOU MONEY!

Sunset Film Festival programmers are looking for visionary filmmakers with fresh voices to share with an audience hungry for independent film.
OSCILLATION TRANSIA FILM FESTIVAL (OTFF) is celebrating one wild idea:
to travel America self sustainably out of the back of a car, sharing innovative films in some of the most inspirational places in the United States.
Combining the love for nature and outdoor cinema, OTFF will be screening works in national parks and rural areas around the U.S. Films will be exploring themes of movement, nomadic living, adventure and the natural world.
OTFF will be screening works by national and international filmmakers on the eastern coast of the United States, Summer 2017. And throughout western and central areas of the United States, Fall 2017.
Utilizing amphitheaters located within many parks, and also incorporating "pop up" screenings in more remote locations. Using a projector and solar generator, OTFF will be able to screen in a wide range of locations -- usually uncharted territory for traditional film festivals. Travel schedule and festival line up is to be announced February 2017.

Final Girls Berlin Film Festival zeigt Horrorkino, das Regie, geschrieben oder von Frauen* produziert wird. Wir veranstalten die sechste Ausgabe der FGBFF vom 3. bis 6. Februar 2022 in Berlin. Wir suchen Horrorfilme (ebenso wie Filme mit Horrorelementen oder Filmen, die dem Horror gehuldigen) in jeder Länge. The Festival Directors have been involved in live and filmed comedy promotion, performance and production for over fifteen years.
Exciting, creative content is more important to us than slick production values. With comedy, if you make them laugh, audiences won't care if you filmed your masterpiece on your uncle the swinger's 1980s video camera.
London and the UK has a long, illustrious history of comedy from The Canterbury Tales to Monty Python. It is also a global centre for production companies and talent agencies that are looking for new talent to provide comedy content for the ever expanding market of online entertainment, digital content marketing and advertising. We have a database of these companies and agencies and update them about the talented filmmakers participating in our festival.
Most importantly though, the films we screen aim to entertain our festival audiences so we have some important criteria for the films we show:

Being able to share great, undiscovered comedy films is a real buzz and delight for us and our festival is an essential calendar feature both for audiences wishing to have some great nights of laughter and for the discovery of new comedy creators.

Each year, our festival takes place in Paris during the springtime, which is not only a beautiful season but also an exciting time of year for ÉCU, because that is when we showcase roughly around 60 of the World’s very best independent films. Although ÉCU emphasises European talent, it also recognises the genius of international filmmakers with several categories allocated to non-European films.
The next ÉCU, the 21st edition, will take place on April, 2026 in Paris, France.
ÉCU isn’t just about screening an amazing slate of films over its three-day event in Paris. There are also professional workshops led by experts in the industry, Q&A’s held with the attending filmmakers after every screening session and a chance to network with fellow filmmakers, producers, agents, industry representatives, prospective film buyers and, of course, the cinema-loving public. At ÉCU, there is a dialogue focusing on celebrating but also critiquing the world’s best indie cinema of today.
Though ÉCU’s main event IS the three-day festival in Paris each spring, there is even more! Thanks to our 50+ partner festivals, partner organisations, film centres and film commissions, ÉCU goes on an annual world tour called ÉCU-On-The-Road. This gives award-winning films (as well as many of the Official Selection films) the opportunity for their films to reach a broader, global, international audience.
ÉCU-On-The-Road showcased films in over 80 countries around the globe in 2016 to 2025 at special ÉCU mini-festivals, partner festivals, cultural institutions and film schools, including an amazing seven day special festival in São Paulo, Brazil. The event was made possible through the support of Caixa Cultural, São Paulo and was a huge success. ÉCU also held special events in Berlin (Germany), Atami (Japan) and was part of festivals in Lebanon, Italy, Russia, USA, Romania, Austria, Denmark and other countries. This gives ÉCU filmmakers great exposure to audiences that they may never have reached otherwise.
Since 2006, ÉCU has helped the careers of hundreds of independent filmmakers, actors, DPs, editors, screenwriters and we are honoured to give aspiring film directors the chance for their voices to be seen and heard.

The Patagonia Aysén Film Festival – FECIPA, in keeping with the unique characteristics of our region, seeks to highlight works that showcase the territorial, cultural, heritage, political, and socio-environmental diversity of southern Chile and Argentina, specifically promoting the dissemination of creations that incorporate local and regional perspectives.
Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
*About the festival
The year 2016 marked the commencement of a new tradition in the city of Miraj, as the first ever Miraj International Short Film Festival(MISFF) was held in February 2016.
It was for the very first time a festival of such kind and magnitude was being held here. To bring back the fading lime light, bestow the truly deserved recognition of the city and safeguard the city’s rich heritage was the sole purpose of organizers and the festival directors.
It seems art does not have language, it neither minds borders nor race, and it rather came true at the film festival. Films from different states of the country and across the globe participated in the festival and proudly took back prizes from our soil, entwining with us, a lifelong relation. We are now reaching to you with the second edition of the MISFF only to join more people in our initiative and inspire the youth of today in the art of film making. We aim to recognize the smallest glimpse of a filmmaker and avail them a platform to showcase their talent. Come; let’s get mesmerized in this beautiful carnival of art.

Miraj- a city that can be defined in a single word: Art! The city adorned with a crown of art and music. They say art runs in the blood and it couldn’t be truer for this city. The hometown of percussion and stringed instruments, a rich heritage of classical music and a tradition of theater and dramas dating back to the independence struggle. The land gave birth to many artist.

Die Ziele des Festival de Malaga sind die Verbreitung und Förderung spanischer Filme und ihres allgemeinen kulturellen Bereichs. In diesem Sinne ist das Festival auch eine Plattform für lateinamerikanische Filmproduktionen. Zu seinen Aufgaben gehört die Ausrichtung einer Veranstaltung für die verschiedenen professionellen Bereiche spanischer Filme (darunter Filme, die in Spanien und ganz Lateinamerika, einschließlich Brasilien, produziert wurden), um deren Entwicklung voranzutreiben und den internationalen Verkauf zu fördern.
Das Festival de Málaga ist von der Internationalen Föderation der Filmproduzentenverbände (FIAPF) anerkannt (www.fiapf.org).
In Übereinstimmung mit diesen Zielen findet die 29. Ausgabe des Festival de Málaga vom 6. bis 15. März 2026 statt.
Das Tlanchana Fest, Festival für Kino und digitale Kunst, wird von Tlanchana Cultura Audiovisual AC veranstaltet, um einen Ausstellungsraum für aufstrebende Talente aus Mexiko und der Welt zu schaffen, indem Elemente kombiniert werden, die das filmische Schaffen in Verbindung mit neuen Medien und digitaler Kunst fördern.
Die 10. Ausgabe des Tlanchana Fest findet vom 3. bis 5. Juli 2026 statt und bietet eine Reihe von Vorführungen, Konferenzen und Workshops sowie Einrichtungen und andere Aktivitäten, die virtuell und persönlich durchgeführt werden und als Anreiz für die Arbeit in den Bereichen Film- und Digitalkunst dienen werden.
Das Miniboxoffice International Film Festival ist jetzt das Noida International Film Festival. Nach drei erfolgreichen Ausgaben des Miniboxoffice International Film Festival, das hauptsächlich Kurzfilme anbietet, wird es nun um eine Abteilung für Spielfilme erweitert. Im Jahr 2014 hat das Management von Miniboxoffice es nach dem Namen der sich am schnellsten entwickelnden Stadt Indiens in „NOIDA“ umbenannt. Es ist eine Hommage an die Stadt, in der Miniboxoffice im Jahr 2010 gegründet wurde, und in der Stadt selbst befindet sich Nordindiens größte Filmstadt.
Ziel des 13. Noida International Film Festival-26 ist es, das großartige Kino von Filmemachern aus aller Welt in großem Umfang zu präsentieren und gleichzeitig professionelle Netzwerke zu bieten und den Teilnehmern aktuelle Kinotrends vorzustellen. Ziel des Festivals ist es, unabhängige Filmemacher zu stärken und sich zu einer erstklassigen Filmveranstaltung zu entwickeln, die das Wachstum unabhängiger Filmemacher fördert.
Die Ausgabe 2014 bis 25 von NIFF war mit der Teilnahme von Filmemachern aus mehr als 90 Ländern ein großer Erfolg. Es wird erwartet, dass das NIFF-26 viele Meilensteine in der Entwicklung des unabhängigen Kinos erreichen wird. In diesem Sinne heiße ich alle Filmemacher willkommen, sich der Bewegung anzuschließen, die das Denken und die Kultur verschiedener Nationen auf höchstem Niveau in Form eines bereichernden und unterhaltsamen Kinos vereint.

Special sections for invited movies and to workshops
ASSERTING WOMEN'S RIGHTS ist ein Projekt, das aus dem Festival de Málaga in Zusammenarbeit mit der Dokumentarfilmerin Mabel Lozano und der Abteilung für Chancengleichheit des Stadtrats von Malaga als Instrument für Protest und Interessenvertretung hervorgegangen ist. Dieser Abschnitt wurde mit dem Ziel eingerichtet, Themen zu untersuchen und anzugehen, die jedes Jahr das soziale Bewusstsein für Frauenrechte schärfen.
Diese Sektion des Festival de Málaga wurde 2008 ins Leben gerufen und befindet sich nun in ihrer 19. Ausgabe. Das Projekt verfolgt einen doppelten Zweck: die Ungerechtigkeiten aufzuzeigen, denen Frauen im 21. Jahrhundert weiterhin ausgesetzt sind, nur weil sie Frauen sind, und Filme zu fördern und zu unterstützen, die von Frauen gedreht wurden.
Mit Asserting Women's Rights haben wir die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Herausforderungen gelenkt, mit denen Frauen in verschiedenen Teilen der Welt konfrontiert sind. Noch heute gibt es viele Orte, an denen Frauen und Mädchen täglich um ihr Überleben kämpfen müssen. In diesen Regionen behindern traditionelle Praktiken und kulturelle Normen häufig ihre persönliche und soziale Entwicklung und hindern sie daran, die Gleichstellung mit ihren männlichen Kollegen zu erreichen.
Unser 1980 gegründetes Festival, das erste seiner Kategorie in Südkorea, hat sich vom Korean Short Film Festival zum Busan Asian Short Film Festival im Jahr 2000 und schließlich zum Busan International Short Film Festival 2010 entwickelt (www.bisff.org).
BISFF findet Ende April im Busan Cinema Center statt und verleiht ein Dutzend Auszeichnungen in drei Wettbewerbssektionen (Internationaler Wettbewerb, Koreanischer Wettbewerb und Operation Kino) und präsentiert gleichzeitig mehrere kuratierte, nicht wettbewerbsorientierte Bereiche, darunter: Guest Country, Korean Shorts, Asian Shorts, Prism, 3D Cinema usw.
BISFF ist Mitglied der Short Film Conference (http://shortfilmconference.com/) und des NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asia Pacific Cinema https://netpacasia.org). Im Jahr 2018 wurde es Südkoreas erstes Festival, das sich für einen Oscar® qualifizieren konnte.
