LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) est la première vitrine d'expérimentation à Los Angeles dans les médias cinématographiques, vidéo et audio. Elle se concentre sur le cinéma d'avant-garde, d'art, indépendant et à faible budget, avec la cinquième édition qui aura lieu en juillet 2020 à Los Angeles.
Notre programme permet aux cinéastes de réinventer et d'explorer de nouvelles approches, de favoriser de nouvelles formes d'art médiatique et de créer un public pour de tels travaux. Nous visons à présenter un large éventail de travaux explorant les nombreuses définitions et interprétations du concept de « souterrain ».
Nous recherchons des films réalisés avec passion, obsession et dynamisme ; des films qui dépassent les attentes et le genre ; des films, des projets vidéo et audio qui cherchent à repousser les limites de la forme et du contenu acceptés. Un fort sens de la paternité est un must.
LAUFF accepte toutes les formes et tous les genres : du drame, documentaire, expérimental, culte, art-house, langue étrangère, comédie, horreur, science-fiction, fantasy, animation, LGBT, indigène, érotique au slow cinéma et art vidéo...
The first AfryKamera Film Festival was organized by FilmGramm Foundation in cooperation with the South African Embassy during the months of April-June 2006. It aimed to use cinematography to bring Africa to the attention of the Polish public. The 1st AfryKamera premiered in Warsaw and also ran in Krakow, Poznan, Lodz, Torun and Konin. The unbelievable media interest and good ticket sales during the first festival in 2006 confirmed our belief that Africa is a theme of immense interest to a growing number of people. Since the very 1st edition, AfryKamera has been well covered in the Polish media, which confirms the great marketing potential of such an event for Africa in general, as well as, for sponsors and patrons.
As it stands AfryKamera is the first African Film Festival in Central and Eastern Europe as well as the largest African-themed event in Poland and the wider region.
AfryKamera has managed to occupy a niche in the film festival market – although there are many international film festivals, they generally show a limited range of African films. AfryKamera is therefore the only festival in Poland dedicated purely to films from the continent. In the past few years the festival has decided to explore new avenues not only in the art of cinematography, but also in the presentation of African art, music, and culture.
The main events of the African Film Festival AfryKamera take place in Warsaw, Poland, traditionally in either Kino Luna or Kinoteka, the capital city's premier arthouse cinemas. The event in 2018 will last 10 days and presents 15-25 full length features and documentaries as well as some 20 short films from around the continent and from the African diapora. The key motto of the festival is "Made in Africa", as the focus is put on the quality of moviemaking on the continent and the enhanced capacity to make world-class movies.
The Nollywood Travel Festival celebrates the best of Nigerian cinema and will be hosted in Toronto, Canada from 5-7 May 2017. It will be a weekend of special indoor and outdoor screenings, inspiring discussions,meeting,parties and awards.
Now in its 16th year, Ffresh – the Student Media Awards – features the best student work from all over the world, along with masterclasses, panel sessions and workshops with some of the industry’s most renowned and respected figures.
Previous guests have included directors Stephen Frears, Mike Leigh, Sergey Dvortsevoy, Asif Kapadia, Jonathan Caouette, Matt Lipsey, Matt Lambert, and Gaston Kaboré; screenwriters Andrew Davies and Tim Firth; producers Stephen Garrett, Bethan Jones, and Sally Hibbin; highly acclaimed visual artists Lichtfaktor and Semiconductor; international FX companies The Mill and Double Negative; Oscar winning editor Jim Clark; and animators Johnny Kelly, Merlin Crossingham, Phil Mulloy, & Peter Dodd, amongst many others.
The purpose of the Awards is to celebrate the best work being created by the up-and-coming media talent from around the world, and to provide a vital link between higher education and the media industry sector.
Ffresh is a BAFTA Cymru qualifying festival.
Ffresh also runs two BFI Film Academies in South Wales for 16-19 year olds in VFX and Animation.

Du 22 au 26 avril 2026, la 55e édition du Sehsüchte International Student Film Festival, l'un des plus grands festivals européens pour les cinéastes émergents, aura lieu à Potsdam. Il offre aux cinéastes émergents du monde entier une plateforme leur permettant de présenter leur travail à un large public et de nouer des contacts dans l'industrie. Créé dans les années 1970 en tant que festival du film de la RDA destiné aux jeunes cinéastes, Sehsüchte s'est imposé au fil des décennies comme un festival de films d'importance internationale et fait désormais partie intégrante du paysage culturel de Berlin et du Brandebourg.
Sehsüchte se définit comme un lieu de rencontre et de création, comme un événement de diversité culturelle et une célébration du cinéma d'aujourd'hui et de demain. L'organisation et la mise en œuvre du festival sont entièrement entre les mains des étudiants de l'université de cinéma de Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. Cela permet un échange dynamique entre les jeunes talents, les responsables des médias et les chercheurs.
Devise 2026 : Que reste-t-il ?
La devise du festival du film de Sehsüchte en 2026 est Que reste-t-il ? Dans la 55e édition de Sehsüchte, nous voulons orienter notre regard vers le passé, le présent et le futur. Que reste-t-il ? veut savoir ce qui reste : de nos idéaux, de notre foyer, de nos espoirs et de nos peurs, et du monde dans lequel nous voulons croire. Avec What's left ? , nous voulons défier le pessimisme qu'implique la question : nous voulons reconnaître le potentiel de changement et développer des perspectives d'avenir non pas en dépit des défis du présent, mais en raison de ceux-ci. Que reste-t-il ? signifie prendre ses responsabilités, se permettre de dire au revoir et trouver le courage de saisir de nouvelles opportunités et de développer des visions collectives, afin d'atteindre une attitude constructive au-delà de la résignation.

Les explorations artistiques et cinématographiques, les ateliers et les formats de discussion visent à inviter les cinéastes et le public à faire face à la complexité de ce monde. Les inscriptions des films ET DES PIèCES DE théâtre qui seront mis en compétition et hors compétition lors du Festival sont attendues. Pour ce Festival, une gigantesque plate-forme dénommée sera mise en place. C'est là que seront concentrées les principales activités du Festival. Des espaces y seront disponibles, mais en quantité très sélective.

The Festival represents a workshop of the documentary film and a meeting place for the promotion and dissemination of the art, starting from Marcellino's works and his point of view. Through the search for new directors to discovery representative artistic expressions of documentary film. It wants be an opportunity to reflect the contemporaneity through different points of view, to enrich and call into question our gaze.
Leiden International Short Film Experience (LISFE) is an annual film festival held in the beautiful city of Leiden in The Netherlands. LISFE is dedicated to Short Films from all genres and from anywhere in the world. Over the years we have built the reputation of successfully showcasing though-provoking films through a diverse and selective program.
This year the festival will take place from the 7th until the 10th of May in Kijkhuis (Leiden).

Delete TV investigates the captivating nature of images with the specific aim to look up to new approaches by taking distance from the conventional film making method.
The program opens a window to the world of art and offers strong, wild and uncensored works from upcoming artists and film-makers. Delete TV highlights contemporary issues in a global context, highly educational and deeply focused on intercultural exchange and visibility.

Lancé en 2008, le Festival international du film ENFOQUE est un festival annuel qui se tient à Porto Rico et qui a pour but de montrer des films qui contribueront et changeront la vie des gens grâce à la puissance de la cinématographie. Maintenant dans sa 10e année, le Festival international du film ENFOQUE 2019, revient du 05-08 à Porto Rico avec le meilleur du cinéma. ENFOQUE projette des longs métrages nationaux et internationaux, des documentaires, des vidéoclips et des courts métrages représentant des pays du monde entier par des cinéastes émergents pour être récompensés par une série de prix du jury et du public. ENFOQUE offre au public épris de cinéma un accès à des cinéastes acclamés par la critique, des professionnels de l'industrie cinématographique et des talents émergents du monde entier.
La programmation comprend le festival du film en relations publiques, des vitrines de musique nouvelle et d'art, ENFOQUELABS, des événements familiaux et communautaires, des prix pour les cinéastes et un concours de courts-métrages reconnu à l'échelle nationale.

Nous avons reçu plus de 3000 entrées dans nos éditions précédentes, ce qui fait de nous l'un des festivals les plus populaires de la région.

Le conseil municipal de Piélagos présente la 16e édition de son festival du film, une vitrine pour les talents locaux et internationaux.
Avec des catégories compétitives pour la Cantabrie, l'Espagne, l'international et le géoparc UNESCO de Costa Quebrada, l'événement célèbre le meilleur du court métrage (fiction, jusqu'à 30 minutes).
Les films sélectionnés concourront pour des prix tels que le meilleur court métrage cantabrique, national et international, ainsi que pour des reconnaissances techniques et le prestigieux Geopark Award, récompensant des œuvres liées à ce patrimoine naturel.

DoKer a été créé il y a 9 ans pour apporter de merveilleux documentaires indépendants du monde entier au public russe et fournir une plate-forme de discussion pour les auteurs, les experts et les spectateurs.
Les principes de DoKer sont les suivants :
- Quand on dit « film documentaire », on met l'accent sur le « film ».
- Il y a d'innombrables façons de faire un documentaire, mais nous pensons qu'il doit être dramatique et intéressant.
- L'image et le son sont aussi importants pour les documents que pour les films de fiction. Le langage du film est universel et nous l'utilisons pour raconter nos histoires.
Attention to all film talents: From 21 November 2017 until 31 January 2018, filmmakers will have the chance to apply for the LET’S CEE Short Film Competition 2018. Not only are two main prizes waiting to be won, moreover, ten finalists will receive an invitation to participate in the second edition of the LET’S CEE Talent Academy in Vienna!
Between 21 November 2017 and 31 January 2018, filmmakers up to the age of 35 from Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus region, Turkey and Austria will have the possibility to submit their short films to the Short Film Competition of the LET’S CEE Film Festival 2018.
However, filmmakers of all ages and from all over the world are welcome as well to send in thematically fitting contributions. Due to the festival’s geographical focus on CEE though, these short films will not be included in the main Short Film Competition, but will very well have the chance to win the Audience Award in the Short Film category and be screened at the festival in the section Short Films | Out of Competition. We furthermore cordially encourage international makers of virtual reality films, 3D productions and avant-garde pieces to apply as we will be offering these genres a stage at our festival as well.
The theme of the Short Film Competition 2018 is TOGETHER OR APART.
Great Britain voted for the Brexit last year and in doing so decided against a EU membership; most recently thousands of Catalan people went to the streets demanding independence from Spain; under the presidency of Donald Trump, the USA is seeking to withdraw from the Paris climate protection agreement and renegotiate various other commercial treaties – these are only three of many examples demonstrating the recent shift of the political mood in numerous countries. A growing migratory pressure, an increasing gap between the rich and poor, as well as justified and unsubstantiated fears – of the consequences of digitalisation, of the loss of jobs and stability and of social change – have discredited globalisation and encouraged a comeback of nationalist and isolationist tendencies, which seemed utterly unfathomable only a few years ago. Even on a national scale, societal cohesion appears to be threatened more and more. How does the growing division of society influence both the community and individuals? Will political agitation, hatred, egotism and greed for profit become the new normal? Well, the situation is critical, but not hopeless, neither on an international nor a national level. There are still representatives of the civil society who make no effort to surrender to the threatening eroding solidarity. Fortunately, there are numerous instances proving how people still advocate for the poor and disadvantaged with great optimism, dedication and empathy – people who rather pay attention to what we have in common instead of what keeps us apart.
The competition’s theme, TOGETHER OR APART, may be manifested in the submitted material in various manners and methods. Interpersonal aspects, such as family and relationship dramas, trials and tribulations, moments of success and happiness or the joint overcoming of challenges can be taken into account just as well as social, political, juridical and/or cultural matters. In other words: everything is possible, as long as it touches on the topic and is done well!
An advisory board chaired by the renowned Austrian-Iranian filmmakers Arash T. Riahi and Arman T. Riahi will choose the best contributions from the submissions for the LET’S CEE Short Film Competition. The short films, which will be screened out of competition, will be selected by the Bosnian-Dutch producer Denis Mujović and festival director Magdalena Żelasko.
After the presentation of the participating productions at the festival, an international jury will decide on the winner of the competing short films and, thus, who will be awarded the main prize – 1,500 Euro and a Urania statuette – at the Awards Ceremony in the Urania Cinema on 20 April 2018. The remaining short films presented during the festival will have, without exception, the chance to win the 1,500 Euro Audience Award in the category Short Film.
All filmmakers who will take part in the main Short Film Competition will additionally profit from their participation. At the expense of the festival, one of the involved filmmakers of each short film will be invited as an official guest*) to Vienna in order to present their work. Those persons will, furthermore, have the opportunity to join the second edition of the LET’S CEE Talent Academy.
15 remaining free seats for the Talent Academy will be filled by Out-of-Competition filmmakers. The most important items on the one-week Academy agenda include the attendance of LET’S CEE Master Classes and LET’S CEE Industry Days, the collaborative finalisation of a short film about Vienna, and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pitch a film idea to Raindance film festival director Elliot Grove (and win big!) at the Pitching Competition. Of course, all invited filmmakers will enjoy several Get-togethers, where they can get in touch with successful distributors, directors, producers, actors etc., exchange experiences and new ideas and thus strive to new projects and international collaborations. In order to enable as many filmmakers as possible to visit LET’S CEE and present their work to the festival audience, all participants of the section ‘Short Films | Out of Competition’ will receive free festival accreditations and discounts for the official hotel partner on request.
