Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

Near Nazareth Festival hospitably opens its doors to filmmakers. Festival participants from around the world will show their works. We believe that the best place for them to present their work - is Near Nazareth Festival.
More than 6000 participants from 70 countries of 5 continents presented their films and works at the Festival in Israel since 2015.
The works are evaluated by an international jury. Many participants became prize-winners and winners in their nominations.

LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) est la première vitrine d'expérimentation à Los Angeles dans les médias cinématographiques, vidéo et audio. Elle se concentre sur le cinéma d'avant-garde, d'art, indépendant et à faible budget, avec la cinquième édition qui aura lieu en juillet 2020 à Los Angeles.

Le Festival international du film BUDDHA est dédié à mettre en valeur l'esprit, la passion et les compétences des meilleurs nouveaux cinéastes du monde entier au public du monde entier.
Nous incluons également et soutenons activement non seulement les meilleurs exemples de cinéma classique, mais aussi des œuvres expérimentales, qui sont novatrices sous de nouvelles formes non narratives et qui traversent les arts vidéo. Tous les films seront examinés au fur et à mesure de leur soumission, et les meilleurs de chaque catégorie seront choisis pour être projetés au festival. Un jury composé de professionnels de l'industrie verra ensuite les finalistes et choisira les sélections gagnantes.
Les cinéastes qui envisagent d'y assister doivent informer le festival du film dès que possible, afin que leurs noms figurent dans le programme prévu sur le lieu où leur film sera présenté.
Le 8ème Festival de Courts Métrages de la Côte Bleue (FCMCB) est un festival ouvert aux jeunes cinéastes jusqu’à 30 ans "sans frontières".
The Mediterranean Film Festival in Široki Brijeg is characteristic for a unique atmosphere – a mixture of relaxed fun, tourism, rhythm and films. Hence the Festival quickly became the favourite of film workers and audience. Those who once feel the scent of the Mediterranean in this little town of film, shall always return to it. In front of the hall where the projections are going on there is always an interesting atmosphere, and after the projections there is always fun and dancing to the rhythms of urban music till late hours. The Festival is the initiator of the new relations within the world of culture, there is no elitism in it, no VIP boxes, no privileges. Within the last ten years we have succeeded to create an atmosphere in which no one feels alienated, inferior or less invited to be a part of the event.
MFF is the oldest festival of documentary film in the region considering that only documentary films compete here and the largest part of the program is based on documentaries. This is one of the rare festivals that has money prizes for the winners of the festival and in that way helps them to create new film projects. The School of Film Culture with relevant lecturers is being organized within the very MFF. A short documentary film is created every year at the MFF workshop, which we screen at the closure of the festival.
Besides the film projections there are also other programs offered at MFF. First of all the touristic ones, where a new branch, unknown untill now in Hercegovina, is developed – the cultural tourism. Within the tourism part there are the tours visiting the most interesting sites in Hercegovina which might be used as the locations for films shooting. Visits to the most significant touristic potentials of Hercegovina (Međugorje and Mostar) are also organized. We meet the guests of the festival to the exceptional archaeological localities and introduce them with the potentials of ethno tourism. In cooperation with the Tourist Board we get our guests acquainted with the Hercegovinian gastronomy – an extraordinary cuisine that has preserved the ancient taste and has not subdued to the modern culinary novelties, and belongs to a very healthy nutrition.
Mediterranean Film Festival lasts for six days, and all our guests, never mind from which part of the Mediterranean they might come, shall wish to come back again here.
The Guadalajara Social Commitment Film Festival (FESCIGU) is celebrating its 24th edition this year, at its venue in Azuqueca de Henares, where it is currently based in exile. Over the years, we have sought to bring our audience the very best of the short film world, with social, thought-provoking, or simply humanistic content. All genres are welcome, provided they do not promote violence. FESCIGU is a qualifying festival for the Goya Awards. This year, in addition, the central theme is ADDICTIONS, so short films dealing with this subject will be especially welcome.

The 2018 Berlin Short Film Festival will show over 90 short films. Our festival theme is the Emerging Power of Media for Social Justice, in which we will showcase films that provoke and inspire social change.
Last year, some major topics in films both in the documentary and narrative category included agriculture, the environment on a global scale, homelessness, sexual abuse and refugees in different parts of the world, to name a few.
Previous speakers and talent have included the likes of Jaws Cinematographer, Bill Butler; Mind and Media's Aldo Bello and DC Stunts Coalition's Dylan Hintz among others.
We will showcase short documentaries and narratives as well as provide attendees with informative panel discussions and fun networking events.

Held annually at Universitat Politècnica de València and different locations in the beautiful city of Valencia (Spain), the annual Screendance Meeting is a conference that includes academic papers, artist presentations and screenings. Its goals include enhancing the academic study of video-dance, fostering artistic creation of video-dance by creating a meeting point for the different creative participants, and disseminate the knowledge and appreciation of video-dance among the students and general public.
For the 4th Meeting (2017) we introduce these features:
• The field of study is open to video-dance, video-performance and video-art that uses corporal expression or choreographic techniques.
• An important focus will be given to the presentation of video-dance works by their authors, where selected participants will show and present their works and discuss them with the audience.
CARTON est un festival international du film d'animation dont l'objectif principal est de réunir les animateurs, les réalisateurs, les producteurs, les dessinateurs de bande dessinée, et l'ensemble de la communauté pour voir, apprécier et promouvoir le monde de l'animation en tant que moyen de communication et d'expression d'idées artistiques, techniques et politiques.
Le Festival comprend une section compétitive de courts métrages d'animation. Après une présélection effectuée par le comité d'organisation, le matériel est évalué par un jury prestigieux qui change d'année en année. Depuis sa création en 2011, Juan Pablo Zaramella, Tomas Welss, María Verónica Ramirez, Raúl Manrupe, Irene Blei, Salvador Sanz et Ayar Blasco, entre autres, sont passés par le jury Carton.
La section compétitive est divisée dans les catégories suivantes : fiction/récit, expérimental/non narratif, clip vidéo, séries, microcourts métrages et ateliers de formation.
Outre la compétition, le Carton Festival est complété par des conférences, des vidéoconférences, des ateliers, des projections de longs métrages et un salon de la bande dessinée.
