L’Associazione i Ken APS ETS, in occasione della 18ª edizione del Festival Cinematografico Omosessuale e Questioning OMOVIES, bandisce un Concorso destinato ad opere audiovisive a tematica omosessuale, transgender e/o questioning. Il Festival sarà svolto sia on-line che in presenza in sala cinema.
Celebrando 12 anni, il Toronto Shorts International Film Festival è il più grande festival di cortometraggi del Canada.

Mal del Cap apre le iscrizioni per il suo XI Festival Internazionale di Cortometraggi e Nuove Narrazioni
Ibiza, 21 luglio 2025.— L'associazione culturale di Ibiza Mal del Cap, Cultura Mal Dita ha aperto questa domenica il bando di concorso per cortometraggi all'XI Festival internazionale di cortometraggi e nuove narrazioni «Mal del Cap, Narratives Mal Dites», che, in questa occasione, cambierà formato e si svolgerà tra dicembre 2025 e aprile 2026.
Il periodo di iscrizione va dal 21 luglio al 1° settembre 2025 ed è aperto ai registi di tutto il mondo. Le opere devono essere presentate in formato digitale e possono essere di finzione, documentario o animazione. I film selezionati saranno proiettati nel mese di aprile 2026 in diversi luoghi culturali dell'isola.
«Ancora una volta, stiamo cercando storie e modi di narrazione audaci che rompano gli schemi, opere che entrino in contatto con le persone e non abbiano paura di sperimentare», afferma Pedro López, vicepresidente di Mal del Cap e co-direttore dell'evento. «Questo festival è uno spazio aperto alla creatività libera, alla condivisione e al networking tra le proposte più underground della scena internazionale».
Ancora una volta, questo festival, iniziato nel 2014 ed è uno dei più longevi delle Isole Pitiuse, presenta diverse sezioni competitive che assegneranno 1.000 euro di premi nelle diverse categorie: la sezione concorso ufficiale per cortometraggi, la sezione Concorso cortometraggi per giovani, assegnata da giovani studenti di Ibiza, il Premio Sebas Parra per il miglior cortometraggio a tema sociale, offerto dall'associazione La Guerrilla Comunicacional di Giza Rona—, il Premio Malalt —che riflette lo spirito più selvaggio dell'associazione—, il miglior cortometraggio in catalano Premio e premio del pubblico.

ICAF started organizing CHENNAI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (CIFF) from the year 2003. All the earlier editions have seen a gradual growth in terms of attendance as well as popularity. Il mercato audiovisivo include il Concorso di sceneggiatura, la riunione di coproduzione, la sala direttori, il Country Focus e altri.
L'Audiovisual Residency offre workshop, conferenze e dibattiti pubblici con artisti e professionisti.

Ci sono stati molti incontri tra pubblico e professionisti e tra professionisti di diversi paesi che hanno permesso di consolidare nuove co-produzioni», afferma André Gevaerd, fondatore e direttore del festival. Per la curatrice Barbara Sturm, l'obiettivo è «mostrare il meglio del cinema d'arte attuale nelle produzioni nazionali e internazionali e mettendo i registi a interagire con pubblico e stampa».

Nocturnal: apre una finestra sul cinema fantastico durante le sessioni notturne.
Little Owl: porta la programmazione per tutte le età, formando i giovani fan del cinema.

From Java to Madagascar, from Iceland to New Zealand, from the Bahamas to Guadeloupe, from Hawaii to Tasmania… Courts des îles hopes to be an open window on island cultures, singular of pluralistic, a link between these young creators, directors from the islands of the world who tell us their stories.
Celebrating the islands of the world through a specific form of expression: short fiction films
