La Plata International Independent Film Festival - FestiFreak is one of the most relevant and inviting cultural event in La Plata, capital of Buenos Aires, Argentina. We settled 20 years ago with the idea of showing and giving premiere to films and authors that don't usually get in theaters and others screens well as reviewing greatest masters of cinema's filmography. 2020 marks the 10th year of the St Cloud Film Fest!
The St Cloud Film Fest takes place over eight days in a historic theatre on the banks of the Mississippi River. The downtown art scene is a hub for the surrounding artistic community. Many local visual artists have exhibitions on display along St. Germain Street and 5th Avenue.
We are a non-profit organization devoted to promoting forward-thinking independent film and committed to giving students an opportunity to create their own projects. We hold stop-motion workshops for elementary students and give high-school and college students a chance to make a film as part of a weekend contest.
The crowds are passionate and intelligent about cinema. We'd love the chance to show your film to a new audience. From live action to animation, documentary to experimental all film makers have a place and a voice at this film festival.
Terror Film Festival is a blood-chilling, alien-probing, international film festival that is unlike any other film festival, because we are designed specifically for filmmakers and screenwriters. TFF runs every October and being an online film festival allows us to remove all of your shackles from traditional venues. Problems like...capacity limits, late starts, rude staff, bad audio, lobby noise, projection snags, parking fees, ticket mishaps, etc...who needs them?! They are all designed to ruin YOUR screening. Terror Film Festival was founded by filmmakers and screenwriters, and we know how difficult the road to success can be. That’s why we screen short films during the festival, but not the feature films. We only screen the feature film "trailers". The reason being that the integrity of your feature film must be kept intact if you expect to get a distribution deal. This way, your project can still be reviewed, you can still compete in the Claw Awards competition, and you can still have the opportunity to sell your film to fans during the festival. But, you do not suffer any interference with any distribution deal offers! Plus, All films and screenplays are reviewed by our selections committee, and all selected films and screenplays then become nominated for the coveted Claw Awards. Who knows, perhaps YOU will win the next Claw Award!

What is?
It is a local and community Audiovisual Festival three days called "Why I love you, you
support ", in which short films, documentaries, Filminutos will be screened,
video art, animation, etc. taped or filmed in any format with the central theme of gender violence against women, to create a space for analysis, awareness and information especially to this problem within the locality with the general public. In parallel there will be a daily lecture and an artistic presentation at the end.
Why do we do it?
The need to create spaces for reflection on this issue within the City to start later processes can transform negative realities and
extending those changes to other areas of the city.

Through a call for audiovisual works in any format on the subject violence against women in all its manifestations, whether physical,

We start from the relationship of body and territory, and we claim that in that exercise of counting our territories (those we inhabit and those that forced us to leave) and the struggles that are in them, we are revealing resistances.
XIII INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF DOSQUEBRADAS -FIGS-
The XIII International Festival of Cinema of DosQuebradas -FICDOS- seeks to carry out an audiovisual production competition focused on short-term Documentary realization open worldwide under the theme "Sensitization in post-conflict and reconciliation", there will be chosen the best work to own the Charlot Prize, commemorative plaque to its winner and work team.
The screening of the official selection will take place in the municipality of DosQuebradas, Risaralda, Eje Cafetero, Colombia.

INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF DOCUMENTARY AND SHORT FILM OF BILBAO
It got started in the year 1.959 and organized by the Cultural Department of Bilbao City Hall, ZINEBI will celebrate its 66th edition from the 8th up to the 15th of November, 2024.
It is the only international Class A festival in Spain in the documentary and short film category recognised by FIAPF since 1974, recognised by the Hollywood Academy as a qualifier for the Oscars among the short films from the official palmares and qualifier as well by the Spanish Academy for the BAFTA Awards and the GOYA Awards.
ZINEBI is a festival which holds all the most current forms and formats, innovative and suggestive and that is making a steady bet for the emerging authors. The line-up of the international schedule (documentary, animation and fiction) and its section ZIFF-ZINEBI FIRST FILM, dedicated to first works, are their really distinguishing mark. Honour Mikeldis are also remarkable, which recognise the prestigious career of distinguising international directors and the strict selections of its sections BEAUTIFUL DOCS, dedicated to the most relevant contemporary features and BERTOKO BEGIRADAK, a section dedicated to the Basque documentary feature films from a recent production. The 2015 edition featured two World Premieres, and fourteen Massachusetts Premieres. The vast majority of projects are independent films, including student films, animation and puppetry, documentary, and live-action narrative. Officially selected films in 2015 had directors who were as young as 22, and as old as 68. Selected films represented countries from around the world, including Japan, France, Denmark, Germany, Iran, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Russia, Italy, China, and the USA. We consider all works regardless of genre and country of origin.
We are currently accepting film submissions for the 2016 Festival!
Who we are: The Cape Cod International Film Festival is a volunteer-driven, not-for-profit organization that hosts an annual event showcasing the best local, regional, national (USA) and International films for residents of the "mid-Cape,", as well as traveling tourists, visitors from around the world, and film industry professionals. We strive to strike a balance between the film-making world and a general audience who is in need of an engaging cultural event. Our attendees tend to be well-traveled, educated, influential and supportive.
The objectives of the CCIFF are to:
1. Select and promote the absolute best films in any given year produced by a diverse and global pool of filmmaking teams.
2. Provide educational opportunities and entertainment for audience members who appreciate the effort that goes into making a quality film.
3. Provide networking opportunities for members of the film community.
4. Provide filmmakers an opportunity to interact with their audience via Q&A sessions at screenings (live and online), social events and sponsorship events.
5. Give filmmakers and production teams a chance to travel to a highly-regarded tourist destination known throughout the world for its food, beaches and "New England hospitality."
In the works for 2016 is an opening night gala on Thursday, October 6th, at the best film theater on Cape Cod: The Chatham Orpheum. The Orpheum is an all-digital cinema with a 150-seat main room and 35-seat screening room. Select short films will be showcased again in Orleans, Cape Cod at the Main Street Wine and Gourmet film loft.
We also strive to help filmmakers find a "home" for their work, and have evolving relationships with sales agencies, distributors and broadcasters. Our current slate of contacts includes: PBS, ESPN, TBS, A24, Screen Media Ventures, Shoreline Entertainment, and The Rainbow Group - with new relationships being established all the time...
We consider ourselves a boutique event, with 318 submissions in 2015. Larger festivals with a similar approach include the Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF), Palm Springs International Film Festival (PSFilmFest), and Mill Valley Film Festival (MVFF). We aim to serve and champion high-quality work that is not industry-centric. We leave that to Cannes, Berlin, Toronto (TIFF), SXSW and Sundance. The CCIFF aspires to be one of the world's best film festivals worth the entry fee!
