Promover la cultura del cortometraje y el documental en un país en el que el cine comercial siempre ha sido el protagonista no es tarea fácil. El Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Delhi es uno de esos exitosos esfuerzos iniciados en 2012 por Miniboxoffice, con exitosas ediciones de 2012 a 2025. El festival reúne cortometrajes pensados, altamente creativos y atractivos de todo el mundo para satisfacer el apetito de los cinéfilos de la capital de la India. El objetivo del festival es establecer una industria de cortometrajes paralela al cine comercial.
La 15ª edición del Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Delhi (2026) está destinada a crecer muchas veces. El año inaugural, 2012, fue un gran éxito, seguido de exitosas ediciones anteriores y goza de la credibilidad de ser uno de los festivales de cortometrajes más confiables de la India. El festival no solo fue aplaudido por los cortometrajistas, sino también por los medios de comunicación y miembros de la industria.
El objetivo del festival es impulsar el mercado de cortometrajes y proporcionar una plataforma de exhibición a los cortometrajes. El festival brinda oportunidades para establecer contactos profesionales y, al mismo tiempo, presenta a los cineastas las últimas tendencias del cine. El 15th DSIFF-26 es una plataforma única en la que puedes compartir, aprender, mostrar, observar y hacer muchas más cosas para perfeccionar tus habilidades creativas y técnicas. Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

El festival de animación Nochedemonos fundado el año 2006, es un referente para la comunidad académica y profesional de la animación nacional. En esta edición cumplimos 13 años, difundiendo la animación latinoamericana para el resto del mundo.
Durante sus nueve versiones se han realizado competencias nacionales, latinoamericanas, estudiantiles, homenajes a animadores destacados, charlas de invitados nacionales e internacionales y talleres dirigidos a estudiantes y entusiastas de la animación.
Esta versión tendrá dos competencias, la competencia latinoamericana de monometrajes y competencia universitaria de cortometrajes latinoamericanos de animación.

This is the data age. Are we embracing transparency as fully as we might?
As trusted curators of this colossal heap of cinema culture, how do we really make a difference on a long term basis?
Is a short burst of guidance enough?
Growth requires consistency and do we provide that?
We are the filter, the trusted source. Film festivals are discovery platform for films that might otherwise be ignored. How to carry that over to the online environment?

Directors' Fortnight Kolkata is first of it's kind from India. The festival will be curated by a Curator.
The Venue of the Festival will be at "Doab", One and only independent filmmaking space in Kolkata. The festival program includes Seminar, Talks, and Workshops as an attraction along with the Live screening of International Films.
During the festival, The Venue "Doab" will also reflect Artistic endeavor of a few Award winning Fine Art Artist. Directors' Fortnight Kolkata will give an unforgettable experience to its Participants.
El LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) es el primer escaparate de experimentación en medios basados en cine, video y audio de Los Ángeles. Se centra en el cine vanguardista, art-house, independiente y de bajo presupuesto, con la quinta edición que tendrá lugar en julio de 2020, en Los Ángeles.
Nuestro programa ofrece un lugar para que los cineastas reinventen y exploren nuevos enfoques, fomenten nuevas formas de arte mediático y construyan una audiencia para este tipo de trabajo. Nuestro objetivo es presentar una amplia gama de trabajos explorando las múltiples definiciones e interpretaciones del concepto de «underground».
Buscamos películas hechas con pasión, obsesión y motivación; películas que vayan más allá de las expectativas y el género; películas, proyectos de vídeo y audio que se esfuercen por superar los límites de la forma y el contenido aceptados. Un fuerte sentido de autoría es una necesidad.
LAUFF acepta todas las formas y géneros: desde drama, documental, experimental, culto, art-house, lengua extranjera, comedia, terror, ciencia ficción, fantasía, animación, LGBT, indígena, erótica hasta cine lento y videoarte...
ESPIELLO, FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE DOCUMENTAL ETNOGRÁFICO está organizada por el Servicio de Cultura de la Comarca de Sobrarbe (una institución que agrupa a 19 ayuntamientos) junto a una amplia participación de vecinos y vecinas de la zona que forman la Comisión Permanente del festival. Se celebra durante el mes de marzo y abril en Boltaña, una pequeña población del Pirineo de Huesca (España/Spain).
Se trata del único festival con esta especialización en el país. Consta de un concurso internacional de documental etnográfico y de diferentes secciones fuera de concurso y actividades paralelas donde se abordan temas más amplios relacionados con el documental y la antropología visual.

El Festival de Cine Lento es un festival de cine independiente, celebrado anualmente en Guadalajara (España) desde 2011, creado y gestionado por Contrapicado Films y El Rincón Lento.
Su objetivo es motivar la creación y el visionado de películas bajo la temática de “lentitud” o “vida lenta” (slow life), entendida como un cúmulo de acciones (respeto al Medio Ambiente y a las personas, consumo responsable, defensa de la cultura, decrecimiento, vida y ocio alternativo, cooperación, soberanía alimentaria, economía social…) que hacen que las personas mejoren su calidad de vida, controlen su tiempo y sean críticas con el actual sistema económico y social.

BUDAFEST is a Budapest film festival dedicated to the glocal culture. 2016 is the first edition. It will be the feast of the brotherwood of two people and of two movie worlds: the Italian and the Hungarian.
We will connect the world with Budapest and Budapest with the world: we have the Magyar section and the international one. We have also a special section dedicated to very fast movies, maximum 3 minutes. This section, called BUDAFAST is a contest, the "Easy Ticket" to the global market for young filmmakers, with no other limit of age and nationality but a fresh, immediate vision of the world & a new way to shoot it.
