The Lake Champlain International Film Festival (LCIFF) turns the spotlight on new films and filmmakers working in any and all genres and forms of film. Good, old-fashioned entertainment and cutting-edge artistry will be showcased in equal measure. Set in Plattsburgh, nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks, LCIFF takes place in November along the banks of Lake Champlain.
The screenings will take place at the Strand Theatre, a landmark of cultural and historical importance. Located in the heart of downtown Plattsburgh, the Strand was originally built as a Vaudeville Theatre in 1924 and is currently on the National Registry of Historic Places. Imagine viewing your film in a gloriously restored theatre, your work framed by the opulence of Hollywood's Golden Age.

Crearity film forum and monthly screenings aims to support the creators in developing their strong sides and unique individuality. This year the focus is to further authors knowing deeper their strengths, to focus on success and to develop their talent on in`s best way.
We accept shot films (up to 30 minutes length) in the following categories: Animation, Documentary, Narrative, Inspirational, Mobile and Monthly Screenings.
BUDAFEST is a Budapest film festival dedicated to the glocal culture. 2016 is the first edition. It will be the feast of the brotherwood of two people and of two movie worlds: the Italian and the Hungarian.
We will connect the world with Budapest and Budapest with the world: we have the Magyar section and the international one. We have also a special section dedicated to very fast movies, maximum 3 minutes. This section, called BUDAFAST is a contest, the "Easy Ticket" to the global market for young filmmakers, with no other limit of age and nationality but a fresh, immediate vision of the world & a new way to shoot it. Participation is easy, register is easy. A very short duration of minimum 30 "seconds and maximum 3 minutes in a Ground-level sequence with a mobile phones, a tablets, a digicamera... Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
The 16th National Guaíba Student Film Festival (Cinestudantil Guaíba) will take place November 6-14, 2017, in the city of Guaíba, Rio Grande do Sul State. The event aims to encourage audiovisual production as a pedagogical activity linked to the curriculum School.

映画選択の問題

SURKO is a micro documentary and short film festival about rural permaculture, which this year adds the animation category to its 2016-2017 call for participants; SURKO has an itinerant nature and thus it will be presented in different countries, comprised by Chile, Mexico, Colombia and Brazil in its 2016-2017 tour.
The festival lasts between 2 or 3 days in each location, according to schedule or as invitations come. Each presentation will count with the showcase of the participating works, considering duration and topics adapt to the features of each festival.
Parallel to each SUR-KO program, different activities will be carried on, such as: Open Space on innovation, local development, creative industries and/or economic development of the Iberoamerica, symposia, workshops and more; if you are desirous to join the team, just ask us how.

In order to spread the work of film students, creating audiovisual workshops in public high schools and promote the screening of short films among the general public, we present the film festival "FECIN. From school to school. Film School Fest". In its second edition, we call on all directors they are regular students or carry a maximum of two years of graduates in any film school and / or audiovisual communication in chilean territory, to submit their short films and participate in the shows scheduled between 20 and 24 November 2017 at the University of Santiago, Cineteca University of Chile, House culture Violeta Parra and "Sala K" in Santiago. The Festival includes activities such as traveling exhibition of Chilean shorts; conducting theoretical / practical audiovisual workshops in municipal schools and subsequent exhibition of the work, in addition to lectures and master classes featured professionals of the Chilean audiovisual medium.
"FECIN. From school to school. Film School Fest"is a non-profit activity, free of charge which is funded by Council for Culture and the Arts, through FONDART call 2016. All short films received will only be used for the purposes specified on the basis of this call. No prizes or awards are granted, the aim of the exhibition is to open spaces for work of students from film schools can reach a wider audience and to value the short film format.

Organised by Donostia Kultura, the San Sebastián Horror and Fantasy Film Festival took its first steps in 1990. Ever since its beginnings, the Festival has endeavoured to fashion a programme offering something for every kind of spectator. Horror movies, sci-fi, animation, shorts, classics from all over the world… have alternated the length and breadth of its history with shows, exhibitions, concerts and various other activities in the attempt to create a varied competition in which everyone can find something they like.
