EVENT DATES. The XXII edition of the Guanajuato International Film Festival will be celebrated from July 19-28, 2019, in the cities of San Miguel de Allende and Guanajuato, Mexico.

We continue to accept submissions but please not your film will be submitted to the 2020 edition NOT 2019. This is due to Government elections on Madeira.

The entry fee is 30 / 40 / 50 Euros depending upon submissions date and irrespective of genre and running time. Exhibiting filmmakers will be offered 3 nights accommodation including breakfast on Madeira during the festival.

The call for entries starts on August 16th 2018 and will remain open until April 2nd 2019.
The Madeira Film Festival is non – competitive. Rather than present awards MFF offers delegates the status of ‘AMBASSADOR OF THE LAURISSILVA’ thus helping to preserve and create awareness of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva forest.
The Madeira Film Festival organisation fervently believes there is no better place in the world to stage a film festival than on the piquant Island of Madeira and there is no better place on Madeira to stage a film festival than in glorious Reid’s Palace Hotel and the Municipal Theatre in Funchal.
The crux of the Madeira Film Festival is to pay homage to the resilience of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva Forest by screening a slate of films which are expansive, unsettling and profound,films which will hopefully impinge upon the viewers imagination.
One of the most effective measures that can be implemented in order to raise awareness of the Laurissilva forest and subsequently it’s preservation is through the undisputed persuasive strength of audio- visual communication. The aspiration of the Madeira Film Festival is to become one of Europe’s foremost film festivals, by sheer virtue of location there exists an inherent capacity to attain this.

Le FEU ! Mostra est le premier festival de films LGBT en Espagne : créé en 1995 par Casal Lambda, à Barcelone, il aborde la diversité affective dans son sens le plus large à travers une sélection rigoureuse de longs métrages, de documentaires et de courts métrages. Une sélection de films d'art et d'essai et une approche pédagogique en sont les principales caractéristiques.

Le nom du festival est un hommage au magazine new-yorkais du même nom de la fin des années 20, FIRE ! , dirigé par l'écrivain gay noir Richard Bruce Nugent, incarné dans l'un des films les plus emblématiques du festival, Brother to Brother, que nous avons projeté il y a quelques années.

The idea of creating a sport film festival in Croatia was born out of a desire to establish a well-executed cultural and media event celebrating sport films and showcasing athletes and the sports industry in general in a broader cultural context. The focus and highlight of the High 5 Sport Film & Media Festival will be a carefully selected international selection of sports documentaries, many of them premiering at the event.

Le Festival International du Film Indépendant SMR13 est un évènement annuel de quatre (4) jours, certifié IMDb, se déroulant dans la seconde moitié du mois de novembre, à Saint-Mitre-Les-Remparts, dans le sud de la France, près de Marseille.
Il s’agit tout d’abord d’un festival physique qui a lieu dans « La Manare », une salle dédiée au spectacle d’une surface totale de 1000m² pouvant accueillir 250 spectateurs.

Entries requirements:
-> All films must have been made in or after 2012 and have English subtitles (unless English is the main language spoken); A creation date does not apply in case of the screen writings from being stopped for submissions, but the submitted must be in English or have a copy translated in English;
-> We accept shorts, documentaries, animations, experimental, music videos, web and new media, commercials (all specified previously under 45 minutes); feature films and feature documentaries (any length, 45 + minutes);
->A description between 50 and 150 words;

Le Cisterna Film Festival est un festival international de courts métrages qui se tient à Cisterna di Latina, en Italie, en juillet. Il est organisé par l'association culturelle Mobilitazioni Artistiche sous la direction artistique de Cristian Scardigno.
À partir de 2015, le Cisterna Film Festival a présenté des avant-premières internationales et nationales, issues des principaux festivals (Cannes, Venise, Berlin, Sundance, Clermont-Ferrand) et des lauréats des plus importants prix nationaux et internationaux (Oscar, David, César, Goya).
Depuis 2017, le festival propose une section « Focus » dédiée à un pays spécifique. En 2017, la Pologne l'a inauguré, avec le soutien de l'Institut polonais de Rome, et en 2018, c'était au tour de l'Irlande, avec la collaboration de l'Irish Film Festa et de l'ambassade d'Irlande. En 2022, le CFF a projeté des courts métrages provenant de Croatie avec le soutien du Centre audiovisuel croate. L'année dernière, le Festival a accueilli des courts métrages d'auteurs palestiniens, en collaboration avec le Consulat général de France à Jérusalem et le ministère palestinien de la Culture.
Le festival accueille chaque année des personnalités du show business et organise des événements collatéraux tels que des présentations de livres, des ateliers dédiés aux adolescents et des expositions de photographies.

International Short Animated Film Festival - ANISHORT est une compétition internationale qui sert à soutenir les courts-métrages d'animation et leurs créateurs. En même temps, il sert à la promotion, à la propagation, à la récupération et au visionnage des meilleurs courts-métrages d'animation du monde entier.
Il devrait également s'agir d'un lieu où se rencontrent la communauté de créateurs qui produisent ces films. D'autre part, c'est l'endroit idéal pour ceux qui aiment regarder ces films et qui sont fans de ce genre d'art.
Le festival aura lieu à partir du 20 septembre 2022 dans plusieurs villes sélectionnées en République tchèque, en Slovaquie, en Estonie et en Pologne.
