Brasília Animation Festival is the firts International Film Festival in Brasília, exclusevily for animation movies. The short films selected will be displayed between 04 and October 06, 2019. There will be a special session, named "Bloody Session", dedicated exclusively to marginal, experimental movies, fantastic, surreal and even scatological.

On nous avertit parfois que si « la taille n'a pas d'importance », nous devrons sélectionner et montrer des œuvres audiovisuelles sans limite de longueur, et ils ne se trompent peut-être pas. Cependant, nous aimons penser que les choses n'ont pas besoin d'être trop grandes pour être importantes, belles, nécessaires ou décisives, et c'est la philosophie que nous appliquons depuis presque la première édition de ce festival.
Nous défendons les œuvres de courte durée car nous pensons qu'il est possible de découvrir l'ingéniosité concentrée en peu de temps. Cet objectif est la raison qui nous anime et nous pousse à continuer à chercher et à explorer les propositions qui nous parviennent pour sélectionner des thèmes, des typologies et des genres très différents afin de montrer l'éventail des possibilités expressives de la nouvelle.

Much like with the digital technology that has swept independent film festivals throughout the world since the early 2000s, for many reasons the virtual theater is quickly becoming the first, best choice for festivals, and the new home of Independent film screening worldwide.
The virtual theater is the future of film festivals, as more and more festivals are now screening films online, and even the big festivals such as the Sundance Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival are moving to online screenings.
Festivals are making the leap to cyber screenings because of many reasons, including that it allows for so much more exposure for the films. It is expected that just like the extinction of the 35mm projectors that were replaced with digital, one day in the not too distant future all film festivals will screen almost exclusively online, with only a few live presentations, if any.
Unlike most other Film Festivals, ours is different because it offers a unique method of viewing films in an online film festival that is totally secure and safe for a filmmaker’s project, and even those that provide online festivals cannot duplicate the safety and security that our virtual theater offers.
Very different from other festivals streaming films online, films in this festival cannot be downloaded, the films HAVE NO EMBEDDING CODE and our HTML code if copied and pasted, the films will not play, therefore they CANNOT be placed on other websites.
The only time and place they can be viewed is in our festival. In short, we have gone to great lengths to set this system up to protect the safety and security of each filmmaker’s film always keeping the filmmaker in mind. Basically, it is just as secure as a brick and mortar theater screening, only much better.
The virtual theater system and screening platform is completely secure and can be viewed from any computer, and mobile device.

Seuls ceux sélectionnés pour le « meilleur film » seront également en compétition pour le « prix public ».

Cinema Verde est un organisme à but non lucratif basé à Gainesville, en Floride, qui a pour mission de fournir une éducation environnementale à partir de sources indépendantes au public international par le biais d'événements cinématographiques, artistiques et communautaires.
Notre objectif principal est de présenter des films environnementaux artistiques et créatifs comme un moyen de rechercher un changement sur les défis et catastrophes causés par l'homme tels que la pollution, la pénurie d'eau, la perte de biodiversité, le réchauffement climatique et la contamination de l'environnement.
Le processus de sélection des films du festival Cinema Verde est basé sur la narration authentique de cinéastes indépendants qui offrent un moyen artistique de sensibiliser la nature et la société, soit explorer et proposer des solutions concrètes à l'un des nombreux défis environnementaux auxquels nous sommes confrontés. La curation du film est dirigée par Trish Riley, journaliste et auteur environnemental de longue date, et directeur fondateur de Cinema Verde.
Nous organiserons notre quatorzième festival annuel en février 2023 en Floride. Le festival annuel du film sera complété par des mini-festivals trimestriels qui annoncent la sortie de nouveaux films sur notre plateforme de streaming, ainsi que des événements de projection par satellite organisés dans le monde entier. Les cinéastes sont invités à participer et à prendre la parole à nos événements physiques, ainsi qu'à des entretiens virtuels exclusifs et à des tables rondes sur notre plateforme de streaming.

Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
