The 1st Festival «Film & Photo by Drone» (DFPF) organised by ASBL Cercle d’Arts et Un Talent Se Dévoile will take place at the airfield of Saint-Hubert from 3rd to 5th June 2016.
Un Talent Se Dévoile is a new not-for-profit organisation that aims to promote young artists, and the Cercle d’Arts is a cultural association, benefitting from financial support and recognition from many public and private, Belgian and foreign, institutions.
The competition is offers 5,000 euros worth of cash and other prizes offered by our partners.
1. The objectives of DFPF:
To promote the production of images taken by drone encouraged through a competition
To promote works that combine technical and aesthetic innovation in the field of cinema and general picture creation
To bring together professional and amateur photographers and filmmakers passionate about aerial images
To foster the relationship between all involved in the drone photography and cinema world, whether directors or producers, and public authorities
To highlight the potential of drones and the various possible areas for shooting
To educate the general public about the use of drones in different sectors of image production by promoting a selection of films and movies.
2. Target audience:
All filmmakers and producers whether they are amateurs or professionals.
3. FILM CATEGORIES: 6 categories short movies
1 - Fiction
2 - Nature - Documentary
3 - Sport - Extreme Sport
4 - Tourism - Travel
5 - Architecture
6 - Clip-Institutional Advertising
The films submitted must have at least 10% of their images produced by drone and these images need to have been shot in compliance with the legislation in force on the location(s) of the shooting(s). The image shooting locations, the dates and equipment used will need to be disclosed on a compulsory basis.
Amateur or professional candidates may submit one film per category.
The jury reserves the right to reclassify the choice of the category.
The films will be evaluated according to the following criteria: quality of the images, quality of the photography, quality of the realisation, quality of the direction.
The movies that will not be part of the official selection will have the opportunity to be presented out of competition.

La nostra ombra può essere un vero problema.
È quel lato della nostra umanità che preferiamo tenere nascosto e che ci fa agire in modo discutibile.
Questa ombra è in parte ciò che ci ha portato a causare un terribile impatto sull'ambiente.
Deforestazione, fuoriuscite di petrolio, inquinamento del suolo e dei mari, annientamento di specie, violazione dei diritti degli indigeni e omicidi di difensori dell'ambiente.
Quest'ombra, individuale e collettiva, viene proiettata dalle grandi città sui nostri ecosistemi e sotto la protezione della legalità statale e degli investimenti privati a favore del «progresso e dell'industrializzazione».
In tempi in cui lo squilibrio che abbiamo causato nell'ambiente si ripercuote su di noi come disastri climatici e appropriazione indebita della natura, è necessario che osiamo guardare indietro a quest'ombra.
Abbiamo la responsabilità di comprenderne l'impatto, segnalare chi lo progetta e richiedere normative per difendere le persone colpite.
Dicono che il primo passo per risolvere un problema sia identificarlo e oggi, attraverso il cinema, cerchiamo di riconoscere le nostre azioni, di fermare l'avanzare delle loro conseguenze sul nostro ambiente naturale unico.

A world hanging by a thread in the balance between reality and fantasy. This is where CastFilmFest will take place to honour the myth of Rodolfo Valentino, who helped the shy beauty of this landscape to find eyes to see it. Castellaneta will be the unaware lady of the house of up-and-coming artists who have drawn and will draw inspiration from its scenario.
Tlanchana Fest, Festival del cinema e dell'arte digitale è realizzato da Tlanchana Cultura Audiovisual AC, al fine di creare uno spazio espositivo per talenti emergenti dal Messico e dal mondo, combinando elementi che promuovono la creazione cinematografica insieme ai nuovi media e all'arte digitale.
La decima edizione del Tlanchana Fest si terrà dal 3 al 5 luglio 2026 e sarà caratterizzata da una serie di proiezioni, conferenze e workshop, oltre a strutture e altre attività che verranno svolte virtualmente e di persona e che serviranno da incentivo per il lavoro in materia di arte cinematografica e digitale.
With twenty-two years of existence, (the first edition was in 1997) AVANCA Film Festival was awarded first place in 2011 contest of the support film festivals sponsored by ICA / Ministry of Culture.
An additional thematic programming has happened over all these years, giving space to screening of significant works of contemporary cinema appropriately framed in concerns and / or well-defined objectives.
The AVANCA is known as a space for workshops led by personalities of world cinema, and being more than a "master class", has allowed a unique cinema practice. Every year we have always 6 or 7 workshops, bringing together participants from all over Europe. AVANCA is the only festival that congregates a Cinema International Competition, works from the television area, video and new supports of multimedia, with a special concern of exhibit the best world productions done in each category.
Since the first edition, the festival only accepts unprecedented films in Portugal.
The World Premiere competition is unique in our country and was only possible because Avanca became a passage point of unpublished authors and movies with great quality. Films that have their world premiere in the festival, independently of the submitted category, are also participating in the World Premiere Competition.
AVANCA is the Portuguese festival with the highest percentage of worldwide unpublished movies that find here their first showing.
In 2020 Edition, Avanca will bring for the first time the VR Competition, where films in virtual reality 360°, narrative or experimental (but with no interactivity) are allowed.

About the Festival
The Bridge Film Fest is an international competitive cultural event that serves to inspire and connect filmmakers and audiences throughout the region and beyond. Filmmakers participating in the Festival attend screenings of their films at the main 400-seat auditorium and other special events designed to allow interaction between filmmakers and audiences.

“A Corto di Donne” supports the creativity of women, offering a place of confrontation to those filmmakers from all over the world who have chosen to express an original point of view on social issues and inner feelings of our time, by means of an innovative cinematographic language.
Only short films directed by women, and completed after January 1st 2014, can be submitted. Accepted genres are: Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental. The maximum length allowed is 30 minutes.

Il Clorofilla Film Festival si svolge tra agosto e novembre in provincia di Grosseto e in altre località italiane. Si tratta di un festival “work in progress” perché trova spazio all’interno delle feste di Legambiente e in alcune sale toscane interessate al festival. Sarà nostra cura comunicare quanto prima le date e i luoghi di tutta la manifestazione. Per adesso è confermata la parte di Festambiente, manifestazione nazionale di Legambiente, che si svolgerà dal 14 al 18 agosto nel Parco della Maremma, mentre una parte del concorso troverà spazio in altre località.
Il Clorofilla film festival propone nella sua programmazione documentari e la sezione #solounminuto. In particolare si cercano lavori a tema socio-ambientale o che rappresentino la nuova “linfa” del cinema italiano.
Dal 2020 è in programma anche il Premio "De Seta" dedicato al grande documentarista che sarà assegnato da Legambiente all'interno del Magna Graecia Film Festival.

La Commissione di Selezione valuterà i film sulla base della qualità della scrittura, delle immagini e dell'uso di un linguaggio creativo che identifichi il cinema documentario artistico.
