WHAT ARE THE ISSUES OF THE FESTIVAL? The participants' short films should cover one of the following issues:

WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR THE SHORT FILMS?
The short film should last a maximum of 6 minutes, excluding the official start and end cover titles.
Short films with direct or indirect advertising from any sponsor, product or service will be rejected.
The first 3 seconds must contain the official competition cover title, and then the title cover, the title and director of the short film.

Entries requirements:
-> All films must have been made in or after 2012 and have English subtitles (unless English is the main language spoken); A creation date does not apply in case of the screen writings from being stopped for submissions, but the submitted must be in English or have a copy translated in English;
-> We accept shorts, documentaries, animations, experimental, music videos, web and new media, commercials (all specified previously under 45 minutes); feature films and feature documentaries (any length, 45 + minutes);
->A description between 50 and 150 words;
->Trailer (not required for movies under 7 minutes; optional) and the film must be submitted as an on-line screener (Vimeo preferred) which may be embedded on the website for visitors to see your creation; you can further opt for modifications in your entry;

Anche quest’anno siamo orgogliosi di presentare nella città di Pietrasanta il concorso internazionale dedicato ai cortometraggi.
Già nel 1877 il poeta Giosué Carducci valorizzava questo Comune che oggi è conosciuto internazionalmente per tutte le sue attività artistiche e artigianali, quali i prestigiosi laboratori di marmo, le rinomate fonderie e le numerose gallerie d’arte. Con le loro opere e con la loro presenza, gli artisti hanno fatto di questa città un museo a cielo aperto e gli atelier, che ospitano autorevoli maestri provenienti da tutto il mondo, la rendono un importantissimo centro culturale.
Per queste caratteristiche, Mondo Cinema ha ritenuto la splendida città di Pietrasanta la sede ideale per il concorso internazionale di cortometraggi, che ha come scopo quello di dare visibilità e di far conoscere autori fino ad ora poco noti al grande pubblico, in un ambiente artistico e culturale conosciuto e apprezzato a livello mondiale.
La “FESTA ARTE e CINEMA” si svolge nella prestigiosa sede del Chiostro di Sant’Agostino, Sala dell’Annunziata, concessa gentilmente dall’Amministrazione Comunale di Pietrasanta.
Tra gli altri, la manifestazione ha ottenuto il patrocinio del Mibact, della Regione Toscana, della Provincia di Lucca, del Comune di Pietrasanta, del Comune di Camaiore, del Comune di Massarosa e del Comune di Viareggio.
Negli anni, i numerosi premi sono stati assegnati sia ad autori italiani che ad autori stranieri.
Anche l’edizione 2019 mantiene l’intento di avere una visione globale del mondo dei cortometraggi, mettendo in rilievo sia le opere di autori italiani che di quelli stranieri. Una particolare attenzione è dedicata agli studenti delle scuole di cinema.

Lo Cercacurts is a short film festival that takes place during the second weekend of July in the small town of Montornès de Segarra.
Anibar International Animation Festival is the only event of the kind in Kosova, and one of the greatest events in the country. Since the beginning, the festival is organised and held in various settings in the city of Peja.
Anibar screens animated films coming from different places around the world, that in five cinemas, three of them set outdoors. Except the screening of the films during the festival, workshops, lectures, debates and additional daily activities (concerts and camping) are organized.
Year by year, the festival endeavors screening qualitative films, in both, technical and artistic aspect of the view. The selection of entries is made in accord with a criteria deriving from a limited staff of professionals who aim balancing the audience, artistic reviews and the market.
Anibar has also socially influenced the youth community in Peja, and further, enclosed with the film screenings and other events, before, during and after the festival, a wide group of youngsters are engaged in helping and working with the idea and preparations of the festival, meanwhile they gain an experience which as a matter has been truly acknowledged by a vast support of different local and national institutions (private and public).

The DC Shorts Film Festival showcases one of the largest collection of short films in the USA. In 2015, we screened 125 films from 26 countries in 17 unique showcases over 11 days to audiences of more than 9,000 people.

The World Cinema Festival provides various screening and networking opportunities around the world for talented independent filmmakers and writers.
Each season of the WCF will take place in a different city around the world. The inaugural season of the WCF aims to be a delightful one. We’ll be setting the 2016 session off in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. We will establish a sense of worldwide community within the filmmaking and literary industries while showcasing an array of amazing independent talent and artistry. Our 10 categories of submission will provide plenty of variety for the different styles of creative expression. Screenings will take in Copacabana at the JW Marriott. There will also be 13 awards up for grabs.
