The 55th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival continues its totally dedicated Independent Film screening format for the upcoming April 20-24, 2022 unspooling. WorldFest will screen just 60-80 feature film premieres and over 130 Shorts with a total and absolute emphasis on the American and International Independent feature film and a continuing annual spotlight on award-winning short films and documentary films. Entries Officially Open Aug. 15, 2021. The EarlyBird Entry Deadline is Nov. 15th 2021 – A Mail-By/Enter By/Ship-By Deadline! Entries do not have to arrive by this deadline. The Main Entry Deadline is December 15, 2021. The Late Entry Deadline is Jan 15th 2022!

Kan-Kan Media is pleased to announce the second edition of “A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS FESTIVAL” Shanghai.
“A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS FESTIVAL” is a unique film event that aims to bring together Chinese film and art institutions, film professionals, students and audience in Shanghai and create a platform to exchange and promote the diversity of the world cinema. During 10 days the festival will present more than 200 short films selected from more than 60 countries around the world.
“A LONG WEEK OF SHORT FILMS” Festival is the result of the collaboration between Kan-Kan Media and Chinese art and film institutions like Minsheng Museum of Contemporary Arts in Shanghai (official host of the Festival) and Shanghai Film Art Academy. It arises from the need to create a platform for a dialogue and exchange between film professionals, students, film communities and audiences taking as a reference point Shanghai/China.
The previous edition of LWSF was a huge success with more than 2000 submissions, 200 films selected and 10 days of film screenings, workshops, talks, music concerts and dance performances attended by 1000+ film-lovers, among them film professionals, students, film communities and artists of other disciplines.
This year the focus will be on the discovery of emerging talents both internationally and in China in order to bring them into the public spotlight and offer them the opportunities for networking and a platform where ideas and work can be exchanged among a new generation of film creators worldwide.
The festival has two main categories: International Section and Chinese Section, accompanied by showcases of outstanding festivals from various countries, as well as workshops, master-classes and other special events.
All the films meeting the submission criteria will be considered for the International Short Film Competition Award for Best Short Film, Best Director, Audience and Outstanding Story Award.

Es un espacio unico para la promocion de contenidos audiovisuales entorno al deporte.
Desde CINESPACIO queremos enfocar esta edición del festival en aquellas obras que han puesto su atención en las condiciones migratorias y su relación con las formas de producción audiovisuales. En un mundo donde se construyen fronteras de manera constante y se trazan líneas imaginarias que vulneran identidades -así como las crean-, es necesario para el sector audiovisual pensarse y dialogar su papel en los modos de realización y en las temáticas representadas.
Proponemos interpretar la frontera como un espacio donde las identidades transnacionales nacen y entran en pugna; un espacio donde se generan nuevas redes y comunidades emocionales que están en perpetuo movimiento; un espacio donde enfrentan los retos del reconocimiento del individuo y de la pertenencia comunitaria. Si la frontera es aquello que delimita lo que somos, el cruzar las fronteras implica, entonces, el reto de ser otro y de conocer cómo ser otro a través del acercamiento y el tacto, teniendo en cuenta que aquello contenido en las fronteras, al ser tocado por lo supuesto externo, no volverá a ser igual.
Este año FECIPA12 es organizado por la Fundación Aysén Mira el Mar, con el propósito de incentivar la creatividad, producción y difusión audiovisual, generando espacios para la exhibición de obras audiovisuales en la Región de Aysén, Chile.

Carmarthen Bay Film Festival ha ido de fuerza en fuerza a lo largo de los años. Desde nuestro primer festival en 2012, hemos pasado de 35 inscripciones a más de 750 de 60 países diferentes para nuestro festival 2019. No sólo han aumentado las inscripciones a lo largo de los años, sino que también ha aumentado el número de cineastas y patrocinadores del festival.
Hemos tenido cineastas volando desde Estados Unidos, Australia, Holanda, Italia, Francia y muchas partes del Reino Unido. El número de socios del festival también ha crecido con Stradey Park Hotel, BAFTA Cymru, RTS Wales, University of Wales Trinity St. David, Felin Foel Brewery, Carmarthen Cameras y muchos más. El festival es ahora una calificación de BAFTA Cymru/Gales, lo que significa que cualquier película proyectada durante el festival y hecha aquí en Gales es elegible para ser considerada para un premio BAFTA Cymru.

John Hefin se involucró por primera vez en el trabajo de televisión en 1960, cuando respondió a un anuncio en un periódico para asistentes de producción de aprendices. Durante la década de 1960, trabajó como productor y director para BBC Wales. En 1974, ayudó a crear la telenovela en lengua galesa Pobol y Cwm, la telenovela de televisión más larga producida por la BBC. También co-escribió y dirigió la película de comedia de rugby Grand Slam de 1978, y dirigió la serie de 1981 The Life and Times of David Lloyd George. Con un historial de 13 años, el Festival Internacional de Cine de Talca, se alza como uno de los principales festivales de cortometraje y ópera prima en Chile. Nuestro objetivo es ofrecer una selección de las mejores obras independientes, innovadoras y experimentales de todo el mundo. Por otro lado, contribuir al intercambio de historias locales en este mundo globalizado donde las ideas y la cultura rompen fronteras en beneficio de todos nosotros.
En estos 13 años de Festival se han mostrado más de 800 cortometrajes internacionales, más de 350 largometrajes nacionales y extranjeros, charlas, conversatorios, talleres, más de 300 invitados, y una amplia presencia del público Maulino y Nacional.
