El LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) es el primer escaparate de experimentación en medios basados en cine, video y audio de Los Ángeles. Se centra en el cine vanguardista, art-house, independiente y de bajo presupuesto, con la quinta edición que tendrá lugar en julio de 2020, en Los Ángeles.
Nuestro programa ofrece un lugar para que los cineastas reinventen y exploren nuevos enfoques, fomenten nuevas formas de arte mediático y construyan una audiencia para este tipo de trabajo. Nuestro objetivo es presentar una amplia gama de trabajos explorando las múltiples definiciones e interpretaciones del concepto de «underground».
Buscamos películas hechas con pasión, obsesión y motivación; películas que vayan más allá de las expectativas y el género; películas, proyectos de vídeo y audio que se esfuercen por superar los límites de la forma y el contenido aceptados. Un fuerte sentido de autoría es una necesidad.
LAUFF acepta todas las formas y géneros: desde drama, documental, experimental, culto, art-house, lengua extranjera, comedia, terror, ciencia ficción, fantasía, animación, LGBT, indígena, erótica hasta cine lento y videoarte...
ESPIELLO, FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE DOCUMENTAL ETNOGRÁFICO está organizada por el Servicio de Cultura de la Comarca de Sobrarbe (una institución que agrupa a 19 ayuntamientos) junto a una amplia participación de vecinos y vecinas de la zona que forman la Comisión Permanente del festival. Se celebra durante el mes de marzo y abril en Boltaña, una pequeña población del Pirineo de Huesca (España/Spain).
Se trata del único festival con esta especialización en el país. Consta de un concurso internacional de documental etnográfico y de diferentes secciones fuera de concurso y actividades paralelas donde se abordan temas más amplios relacionados con el documental y la antropología visual.

BUDAFEST is a Budapest film festival dedicated to the glocal culture. 2016 is the first edition. It will be the feast of the brotherwood of two people and of two movie worlds: the Italian and the Hungarian.

Our online festival is presented in a virtual theater setting that will allow users to watch the films while the films remain completely safe from download or reproduction.
Films in this festival cannot be downloaded, the films HAVE NO EMBEDDING CODE and the HTML codes of the films, if copied and pasted, the films will not play, therefore they CANNOT be placed on other websites. The only time and place they can be viewed is in our festival. In short, we have gone to great lengths to set this system up to protect the safety and security of each filmmaker’s film, always keeping the filmmaker in mind. Basically, it is just as secure as a brick and mortar theater screening, only much better.
We made the decision to screen films online because of two reasons, first we understand that filmmakers around the world pour not only all of their time and heart into their work but also most of their money. Because of financial and time constraints independent filmmakers most times find it difficult to attend the screenings of their film. Now not only can the filmmaker attend, but all of their friends and family members can as well. In addition, the number of attendees to the festival is literally limitless giving the filmmaker much more exposure for their work.
In addition, you hear so much about the environment and global warming it got us thinking. When you realize how much power is used during the film fest, electricity for the building, natural gas for heat and the gasoline the people use to get to the fest it left one hell of a carbon footprint. By doing the whole festival online it actually helps cut down on greenhouse gasses.

Cuarta Edición
CENTRAL-DOC, Blackbird Films y Huitzil Laboratorio de Creación Multidisciplinaria A.C. convocan a todos los realizadores de documental a participar en la cuarta edición de la Muestra Internacional de Cine Documental, que se realizará del 2 al 6 de diciembre de 2019 en el estado de Tlaxcala, México. Las obras serán proyectadas en espacios públicos, independientes, instituciones educativas y centros culturales, pudiendo ser estos locales, nacionales o internacionales.
Esta cuarta edición de la Muestra está acompañada del tema CULTURA, IDENTIDAD Y RESISTENCIA… A 500 AÑOS. Un tema que busca visibilizar pero sobre todo reivindicar el papel de los pueblos originarios a través de los diferentes documentales que conformen esta edición y que se pretende giren en torno a temas particulares como son orígenes, tradiciones, territorio, lengua, derechos, entre muchos más. En CENTRAL-DOC esperamos documentales con historias que nos permitan cuestionar y valorar lo que nos hace ser lo que somos, de dónde venimos y cuáles son nuestras raíces.
Experimental Forum es un festival internacional de cine y videoarte que presenta películas experimentales e imágenes en movimiento de artistas de cineastas de autor y videoartistas innovadores de todo el mundo. Nuestro objetivo es proporcionar una plataforma de apoyo para el trabajo apasionante y desafiante que está fuera del alcance de los principales festivales de cine y galerías de arte.
Damos la bienvenida a obras de cine experimental (abstractas, narrativas o documentales), obras de videoarte, películas de ensayo, imágenes en movimiento y arte multimedia de artistas, así como películas documentales y narrativas que busquen expandir, redefinir o reconfigurar los medios y fines de sus respectivos campos. Experimental Forum existe para dar acceso a las obras de artistas con imágenes en movimiento y desarrollar su público, y se compromete a atraer al público local con voces nuevas o desconocidas en el cine.
Estamos particularmente interesados en las obras de los primeros cineastas y artistas cuyo trabajo está subrepresentado. El Shortcup Film Festival es la copa mundial de cortometrajes. Las películas seleccionadas se distribuyen en 4 días de exposición, donde cada película representa a su país y los votos populares del jurado definen la ronda final donde el ganador es elegido en la quinta jornada.
El objetivo principal del festival es fusionar un escaparate de cine competitivo con el ambiente casual de un bar; este año, en su 6ª edición, tendrá lugar en 4 ciudades simultáneamente, esas ciudades son:
