More than 200 movies will be presented to make you laugh, amaze you, annoy you, surprise you and plunge you into the wealth of the short film! Movies coming from 45 countries, as well as from all France and from the Region Midi-Pyrénées, from recognized directors or in the process of the future.
A touring festival of science fiction films of all sorts: animated, live action, experimental, mainstream, and just plain weird are all welcome! We're working on a three-plus hour touring festival to the Bay Area in October of 2014!
About Stuff & Objective - The Student Film Festival (Stuff) is one of the few international film and arts festivals dedicated to budding filmmaker's with aims to provide young filmmakers with an authentic film festival experience, a valuable understanding of the film industry, and an opportunity to screen their movies on “the big screen.” The Festival seeks to nurture and showcase ability as well as the art of film making which encompasses aspects of the arts, culture, history, crafts, geography, cuisine & lifestyle in short what make us what we are. Stuff films and screenings are selected and hosted by filmmakers, professors, and other notable figures in the world of cinema.

25 films from all of the online submissions are randomly selected to the festival’s official international competition.
Random Awards will be given. One film in the competition will be randomly selected to win the Random Grand Prix.
The 6th Edition of the IRFF will be held in Helsinki, Finland, 5-7 May 2017.
Accepted films will be short, medium and feature length films produced in digital video; categories in documentary, fiction, experimental or animation; movies about mountain sports, adventure or expedition; films that contribute to knowledge and protection of the environment; films about mountain culture or outdoors lifestyle.
FFF 2017 accepts feature films, documentary, animation, medium and short films from established and emerging , independent filmmakers, film schools and media collectives from Ireland Europe and around the world.
With the high end digital cameras in hand, youngsters are making films which appeal to them. AIM, Avenues International Media is established with a mission to create a marketing distribution network for the Indie Films.

The Massachusetts Independent Film Festival (MassIFF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run by filmmakers, film writers, and film lovers. International Film Festival "Prvi kadar"/First Frame is an important film event in Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose mission is to promote film art of authors from all over the world. The Festival is of competitive character neither. Films compete in two categories: documentary and short films.
Fifteen editions of the festival, a large number of authors interested in the festival, proving that the festival recognized among artists all over the world, as an important and prestigious film event.

The Villamayor de Cine European Short Film Festival was born in 2008 in the charming village of Villamayor de Santiago, located in the province of Cuenca. Its main mission from the beginning has been to create a space where short films take center stage and young directors have a chance to shine.
Every August, the festival comes to life through the dedication of a team of over forty young professionals. Under the guidance of its founder, Javier Alonso, they work tirelessly to bring the best of European short cinema to Villamayor de Santiago.
Renowned Spanish actor Jesús Guzmán served as the festival’s Honorary President until his passing in 2023. In his memory, the award for Best Fiction Short Film now bears his name, keeping his legacy alive in the film world.
The festival is hosted by acclaimed actor and presenter Luis Mottola, whose professionalism and charisma add great value to the event. Mottola holds a special affection for Villamayor, and the town, in turn, holds him in high regard. @luismottola
The Scare-A-Con Film Festival supports independent cinema made outside of the direct Hollywood studio involvement, bringing them much needed exposure to major Independent studios around the world.
The Scare-A-Con Film Festival (formerly the B-Movie Film Festival) has been an exciting event in CNY since 1999! We have helped bring exposure to over 10,000 movies, shorts and documentaries from around the world. Many of the movies that have played at our festival have gone on to distribution success with companies like Maverick, Image, Barnholtz, and are available in place like Blockbuster, Best Buy, Netflix, Amazon.com and Walmart. Be a part of the one film festival and horror, sci-fi & fantasy convention that showcases the underdog movies!
The fest is now a part of the Scare-A-Con convention, which brings in hundreds of Hollywood stars like Linda Blair, Tony Todd, Ernie Hudson, Joe Bob Briggs, John Schneider, Doug Bradley, John Russo, C. Thomas Howell, cast members from "The Walking Dead", "Mystery Science Theater 3000" and more and over 6000 patrons per event! The festival and convention hosts events like Filmmaker mixers, dance parties, celebrity panels, costume parties and more. It's an amazing 3 day event, and a great opportunity for filmmakers to socialize and network with their peers.
Judges include:
-Ron Bonk - filmmaker and producer and head of SRS Cinema which has been distributing movies since 1992.
-James V. Johnson - editor of TAPS magazine and founder of Scare-A-Con.
-David J. Skal - an American cultural historian, critic, writer, and on-camera commentator known for his research and analysis of horror films and horror literature.
-Michael Merchant - prolific underground movie actor known for his roles in "She Kills" and "Night of Something Strange".
