Indy Film Fest was founded in 2004 to celebrate the art of cinema and to create a shared experience around film in Indianapolis. We are a non-profit, international, independent film festival programming both features and shorts. Our all-volunteer staff strives to bring the best films the industry has to offer to our community from home and abroad. Our programmers aim to foster new talent and help filmmakers connect with the global industry. We are also dedicated to educating and developing audiences for international and independent cinema in Indy, screening the kind of innovative, visionary work that may not normally achieve distribution in this area.
Indy Film Fest is looking for the best independent features and shorts no matter the category or genre including: live action, animated, drama, comedy, narrative, documentary, horror, sci-fi, and experimental. Our annual festival spanning over 10+ days typically programs around 25 features and 100 short films, with over 90% from submissions.
Always growing and adapting, the Indy Film Fest began as the three-day Indianapolis International Film Festival in 2004. We quickly expanded to our current 10-day format in 2006, moved our festivities to the summer in 2009, changed our name to the Indy Film Fest in 2014, and since 2018 have been back home in our original spring timeframe. Due to COVID-19 our 2020 and 2021 festivals were primarily virtual and our 2022 - 2024 festivals were hybrid 5-day in-person festivals followed by virtual availability and concluding with award-winner in-person screenings on the final weekend. That format is our goal for the 2025 festival and before selection decisions are made filmmakers will be informed of any changes to dates or format and given the opportunity to request their submission fee be applied to a future festival if those changes are not acceptable.
Alumni of the Indy Film Fest (and Indianapolis International Film Festival) are eligible for a reasonable number of free submissions. Films with significant ties to Indiana are eligible for drastically reduced submission fees. Examples of eligibility include the director or writer being a current Indiana resident or native, or the film being primarily shot within Indiana. Cabane A Sang (Blood Shed) is a Film Festival, TV Show on a French Horror station in Canada & a Road Cinema based out of Montreal. C.a.S celebrates Horror, Scifi and Trash cinema. "Blood Shed" aims to bring back the vibes of grindhouse cinemas where you can catch an obscure flick, have a beer, laugh and have a good time.

The Life Beyond Life Film Festival is proposed by the ArtInMovimento Popular University and the Cultural Association SystemOut (both at Torino, Italy), being in synergy with A.R.E.I. ( The Afterlife Research and Education Institute, Normal/IL, USA) and Religion Today Film Festival, and linked to the International Afterlife Conferences Andare Oltre. Death for many cultures represents the great taboo, where instilling fear and terror, anxieties are hidden behind, along with emotions, probably based on a dominant mainstream, that subjects most people by orienting themselves towards particular lifestyles and behaviors.The Life Beyond Life Film Festival, casted on, by an anthropological and esoteric eye, welcomes clips/shorts, medium and feature film, documentaries/fact films, video arts, and cartoons, thematising the terminal care, grief, transition, the visions of the Afterlife, Eternity, Immortality and Destiny; the Coincidences, the Divine, Angels and Demons, Karma and Darma, Samsãra, the Akashi Records, Entanglement, the Multiverse (parallel dimensions), Quantum Physics and Universal Energy. There will be even space for testimonials, narratives, bearing witness specially to the learnings of mediums, psychics and holistic operators, being both in continuos connection with the Afterlife and having had some experiences with it, as well as cinematographic products of great worth, having a significant social and spiritual value, where the message linked to Death will be Hope, Solidarity and Lightness.
Our principle is anthropophagic and cannibalistic. Kinesyphilis is a disease that we suffer from and with which we commit ourselves. Our interest: to eat and digest cinema from the south.
This festival was founded to open another door in the festival scene in Colombia. To think, watch, listen and read the cinema of the past, present and future. Our limits will be reflected in each of our editions. In addition, we adhere to a tradition of our arts and cultural movement, since the impulse that motivated the magazine Ojo al Cine founded by Andres Caicedo viciously influences the creation of this festival.

Curatorial proposal:
This exhibition aims to convene cinematographic, audiovisual and videoclip expressions of any genre that were made around the social outbreak in Colombia between 2019 and 2021. We are interested in compiling and creating a bank of artistic memory about the creations that thought through image and sound all the social process that took place throughout the country.
Likewise, due to diverse political processes of resistance at an international level, we consider it important to open our doors to creations from all over the world. Therefore, we will have our call open to cinematographic, audiovisual and videoclip expressions of any genre made between 2019 and 2023 in any country or town that are linked to the concept "Poetics of Resistance".

Moritz Feed Dog is the first festival in the state that combines film and fashion.
Premieres, iconic documentaries and titles full of content on the big screen. Stories that come from different countries and also works that are the result of national talent in the field of production and direction.
Moritz Feed Dog is held in person in Barcelona, and for 2021 a hybrid festival is planned that includes a face-to-face and an online part. In addition, the Festival is also held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Although they have their own artistic team there, the documentaries selected in Barcelona are automatically also valued by the Brazilian committee.

AMOR International LGBT+ Film Festival is the first international film festival in Santiago of Chile focused on the subject of sexual and gender diversity, of independent and competitive nature. The seventh edition of AMOR Festival will take place from June 27th to July 2nd, 2023, in a hybrid format, with digital and physical screenings and activities specifically at national territory.
As in every edition, the festival is proposed as an inclusive space where the programme invites different sectors of society to approach cinema focused on LGBT+ themes (Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transsexuals and all sexual, identity and gender diversities); a safe space for the community in which they can participate, make visible, identify and share. HARD:LINE International Film Festival aims to present the various faces of extreme cinema.
The question as to what is meant by the term “extreme” can be understood by looking at the content of our wide selection of fantastic films. “Extreme” is often defined by an explicit splatter aesthetic but it can also be represented by unusual story-telling methods or an exotic visual language. Thus, we are meticulously selecting such examples that could be important in the future of the genre. We have not set any boundaries in our search and whether a film is a pearl of the independent scene, fun splatter or no-brainer, H:LIFF loves special films!
HARD:LINE International Film Festival is no warehouse festival where the priority is to show as many films as possible but rather concentrates on presenting a few glowing examples of everything that extreme film can be.

THE HUECC FESTIVAL is a film festival that seeks through itself a space for the construction of new community film schools. It was born from the Homonimo project carried out in 2018 TO MAKE A FILM SCHOOL, a space where different Latin American audiovisual groups came together to lay the foundations to create a film school in Solano/Quilmes.
Currently, this initial experience and through the festival could give shape to the ARROYO SCHOOL, which brings together 40 boys, girls and young people from the neighborhoods on one side of the Las Piedras stream.
Everything raised by this festival is intended to continue with the community film experience and the future construction of the first community film school in Argentina.
All genres, formats and durations are accepted. A selection will be made for the best organization and programming of the Festival. We will take into account formal experimentation and aesthetic risk
