9Fest, il festival di cortometraggi gestito a Bangkok da Brian Bennett, è stato al centro di una sezione speciale a Indy Shorts, che ha compilato diverse opere di registi di tutto il mondo, e come tutte le curazioni del festival che ho osservato qui, è stato tutt'altro che ridondante. Bake «Fallen Star, Rising Sun» di Phouikham offre un sincero incontro con Ko Chandetka, il primo bodybuilder lao-americano, le cui lotte con la dipendenza hanno quasi fatto deragliare la sua vita. Dopo mi ha detto che crede che non ci sia modo sano di partecipare a qualsiasi sport a livello mondiale, e che si deve sempre valutare i rischi con i premi.
Il mondo creativo è a portata di mano. L'obiettivo di 9FilmFest è sostenere i registi, applaudire il loro duro lavoro, stimolare la creatività e offrire opportunità di scoperta. Siamo qui per realizzare i sogni dei registi.

«One Shot» promuove la produzione cinematografica indipendente in Armenia. I film presentati non hanno limitazioni nel formato di ripresa. I film possono essere girati con telefoni cellulari, pellicole e fotocamere HD. Il concorso ha tre categorie: «One Minute - One Shot», «Short Movies» e «Cinema Without Border». Ci sono anche programmi speciali e tavole rotonde.
Il Festival Internazionale del Cortometraggio «One Shot» è una piattaforma cinematografica aperta. È stato fondato nel 2003.
Il presidente fondatore è Gagik Ghazareh. Organizzazione fondatrice: Centro armeno per l'arte sperimentale contemporanea. Il simbolo del festival rappresenta una statua tridimensionale di un'antica scultura rupestre del monte Geghama che ha 5000 anni.

Horror ShowFest è un Film Festival competitivo dedicato a Cortometraggi e Lungometraggi di genere Horror. L'evento si terrà Sabato 10 Luglio 2021 al Guelfi Sport Center a Firenze. PRESENTAZIONE
Il Festival de Cine no Visto ha l'obiettivo principale di dare visibilità a quelle produzioni indipendenti e a basso o nullo budget che, per diverse ragioni, non raggiungono il grande pubblico e la cui unica opzione per un maggiore riconoscimento si trova nei festival.
L'organizzazione del Festival de Cine no Visto è consapevole del grande sforzo che i produttori devono sopportare per realizzare un progetto con mezzi molto limitati. Gli aspetti tecnici sono per noi solo un altro elemento del processo, quindi i motivi principali per cui verranno selezionati non dipenderanno dai mezzi utilizzati. Siamo molto più interessati a ciò che viene raccontato e al simbolismo di ogni scatto.
Senza dubbio prenderemo in considerazione tutti gli aspetti: performance, montaggio, cinematografia, musica, sceneggiatura, per riassumere, tutto il necessario per la produzione di un progetto audiovisivo.

L'INTERNATIONAL DISABILITY FILM FESTIVAL ÀNEC ha tre obiettivi fondamentali. Innanzitutto, un obiettivo inclusivo di visualizzazione e consapevolezza attraverso l'esposizione della realtà delle persone con disabilità e delle diverse terapie sviluppate al riguardo. In secondo luogo, la diffusione e la promozione di film e cortometraggi di categoria artistica che contribuiscono a riflettere questa realtà. In terzo luogo, invita i cittadini a partecipare alla sfida di realizzare una società più giusta e inclusiva.
Per essere presi in considerazione per la selezione, si prega di leggere attentamente le seguenti regole prima di inviare. La violazione di una qualsiasi delle regole e dei termini di idoneità riportati di seguito può comportare la squalifica del tuo lavoro. Si prega di leggere prima di inviare:
Regole generali
* BSIFF accetta film nelle seguenti forme: lungometraggi, cortometraggi e serie a episodi.
* I lungometraggi, i cortometraggi e le serie episodiche devono essere almeno anteprime in Ghana. Ciò significa che non avresti dovuto essere proiettato pubblicamente in Ghana prima del Festival del 2024.
* I lungometraggi e i cortometraggi, comprese le serie a episodi, non devono essere disponibili online in nessuna forma, per nessun periodo di tempo al momento dell'iscrizione.
* Tutti i film devono essere in inglese, sottotitolati in inglese o in versione inglese. Le opere in lingua non inglese devono avere sottotitoli in inglese al momento dell'invio. Le liste di dialogo non saranno accettate. I film non conformi verranno immediatamente squalificati.
* Tutti i film presentati devono essere stati completati dopo gennaio 2022. Qualsiasi film creato prima del 2022 non sarà accettato.
* Tutti i film non devono essere stati presentati al Festival in precedenza in nessuna fase di completamento (vale a dire che i film presentati negli anni precedenti non saranno riconsiderati. In caso di domande, contatta bsiffsubmissions@gmail.com.
* Se sei uno studente o rappresenti una scuola di cinema, devi inviare una copia elettronica del tuo ID studentesco o presentare una prova (un'e-mail di conferma del capo del dipartimento della scuola di cinema all'indirizzo bsiffsubmissions@gmail.com) che attesti che sei attualmente uno studente presso quella scuola.
* È responsabilità esclusiva del richiedente ottenere l'autorizzazione da parte di tutti i detentori del copyright dei materiali inclusi nel film inviato. BSIFF non sarà ritenuta responsabile per l'inclusione non autorizzata di materiale protetto da copyright all'interno o relativo al film presentato. BSIFF si riserva il diritto di squalificare qualsiasi film con materiale non autorizzato protetto da copyright.
* Ti verrà richiesto di fornire un «Modulo informativo sul film» ufficiale BSIFF debitamente compilato e firmato che verrà fornito dal Festival al momento della selezione.
*Categorie di invio*
Le iscrizioni al Festival sono suddivise in sette categorie:
* Ghanaian Showcase (Odehye3): tutti i film di finzione (lungometraggi, cortometraggi o serie episodiche) prodotti in Ghana e/o diretti da registi ghanesi. Il regista deve attualmente risiedere in Ghana o essere in grado di fornire una prova della cittadinanza ghanese. Se il film è co-diretto, almeno uno dei registi deve soddisfare questi criteri.
Nota: i film d'animazione non sono accettati in questa categoria. Se hai un film d'animazione, iscriversi nella categoria Film d'animazione
* Africa Rising Showcase: tutti i film (lungometraggi, cortometraggi o serie episodiche) prodotti in Africa e/o diretti da registi africani. Il regista/produttore deve attualmente risiedere in un paese africano. Se il film è codiretto/prodotto, almeno uno dei registi/produttori deve soddisfare questi criteri.
Nota: i film d'animazione non sono accettati in questa categoria. Se hai un film d'animazione, iscriversi alla categoria Film d'animazione.
* Showcase internazionale: tutti i film di finzione (lungometraggi o cortometraggi) prodotti al di fuori del Ghana e dell'Africa e/o diretti da non ghanesi/non africani. Nota: i film d'animazione non sono accettati in questa categoria. Se hai un film d'animazione, iscriversi alla categoria Film d'animazione.
* Documentario: un film di saggistica di qualsiasi durata su eventi e persone reali, che spesso trascende le strutture narrative tradizionali. Il documentario è il trattamento creativo della realtà.
* Categoria Scuola di cinematografia/studente: i film devono essere realizzati interamente dagli studenti di una scuola di cinema con il supporto tecnico della scuola, ma senza il supporto finanziario o tecnico delle emittenti o delle case di produzione.
Attenzione: per questa categoria, è obbligatorio esibire una tessera dello studente e/o un'e-mail di conferma da parte del Direttore del Dipartimento della scuola di cinema e devono essere presentate al Festival al momento della presentazione affinché il film possa qualificarsi. La mancata presentazione della prova comporta la squalifica automatica.
* Film d'animazione: Un film d'animazione di qualsiasi durata (lungometraggio, cortometraggio o serie episodica) proveniente dal Ghana, dall'Africa e da qualsiasi parte del mondo.
* Music Film (Music Video): un video musicale con una forte narrazione, concettualizzazione e produzione cinematografica da qualsiasi parte del mondo. Nota: i video musicali devono durare meno di 10 minuti e devono essere di qualsiasi anno, indipendentemente dal budget, dalla popolarità o dalla lingua.
*Commissioni*
BSIFF è un'organizzazione senza scopo di lucro. Le tariffe di iscrizione coprono le spese amministrative relative alla catalogazione e all'anteprima di ogni film e alle considerazioni relative alla programmazione.
Si prega di notare le tariffe di inscrição a BSIFF:
* Quota di iscrizione anticipata = 25 dollari [15 dicembre - 15 febbraio]
* Iscrizioni tardive = $30 dollari [16 febbraio - 30 aprile]

* BSIFF accetta film ghanesi, africani e internazionali di ogni durata e argomento.

Durata della funzionalità: 60 minuti o più
Breve: meno di 60 minuti
Serie episodiche: Serie episodiche: film di finzione di lunga durata che non possono essere raccontati nell'ambito di un lungometraggio e sono quindi suddivisi in episodi. Nessuna durata impostata.
Decisioni di programmazione
* Tutti i programmi di screening BSIFF sono curati e tutte le iscrizioni saranno prese in considerazione dal nostro team di programmazione.
I candidati verranno informati delle decisioni di programmazione via e-mail entro agosto 2024. La programmazione finale, la categorizzazione e la classificazione dei film saranno determinate dal team di programmazione del Festival. La loro decisione è definitiva.
*BSIFF non ha l'obbligo di fornire commenti o feedback sul film presentato al richiedente o a qualsiasi altro rappresentante del film presentato.

FRAPA – The Porto Alegre Screenwriting Festival – is the largest event focused in scriptwriting for television and film in Latin America. The 8th FRAPA will be held at Cinemateca Capitólio, from the 14th to 17th of July, 2020. Our aim is to discuss and strengthen the significance of screenplay writing in times of rising in TV and film production in Brazil and in the whole continent.
Inspired by similar festivals in the United States and Europe, FRAPA has grown in size throughout the years, organizing debate sessions, competitions, workshops, screenings, master classes and business rounds. We intend to make FRAPA a reference for the thought of audiovisual writing in Latin America. By encouraging the exchange of experiences between screenwriters and other professionals in the audiovisual market, we create an opportunity for qualification and celebrate new partnerships.
FRAPA has received many renown professionals throughout its three editions. To name a few: James V. Hart (Dracula, Hook, Contact), Bráulio Mantovani (City of God e Elite Squad 1 e 2), Fernando Castets (Son of the Bride), Marcos Bernstein (Central Station), Pablo Stoll (25 Watts and Whisky), Luiz Bolognesi (Rio 2096: A Story of Love and Fury), Lisandro Alonso (Jauja) and many others.

The Festival of Cinema made in the Canary Islands (#MadeInSecuencia27) is a festival that was born with the aim of promoting and disseminating audiovisual creation through sportsmanship and teamwork, both among fans and professionals, throughout the Canarian archipelago and arises as an initiative of the Cultural Association La Farola Films and its youth section known as the Infant and Youth School of Cinema "Sequence 27".
FECICA is celebrated between the municipalities of Puntallana, Barlovento and San Andrés y Sauces under a written and visual motto that changes in each edition.
with the image of the Punta Cumplida de Barlovento Lighthouse next to the Los Tilos Bridge of San Andrés y Sauces and the Monument to Salto del Enamorado de Puntallana.
The Festival has two competitive sections of the event: the 'General Section', which has short films shot throughout the Canary Islands and the 'Section 32 hours', in which filming takes place on site (between Puntallana, Windward and San Andrés and Sauces ), within the duration of the show itself, in just one and a half days, making this section the hardest cinematographic creation challenge in the Canary Islands. We also have the 'Media and Feature Films Section', a non-competitive section to promote the latest feature films and medium films made in the Canary Islands.
Thanks to this festival, which pursues the coexistence between participants, audience and young people of the Film School, more than the competition between them, the island of La Palma is already a "movie island", which has five festivals more audiovisuals (Festivalito, Tiempo Sur, TazaCortos and La Palma Anime Film Festival). All of them collaborate with this Film Show and are completed with other audiovisual contests throughout the island territory.

The self-portrait has been a constant practice in art-and a imperative practice since it is called selfie-but not in audiovisual products. And now we are mired in the mode of the Videosphere.
At ESAT (Higher School of Art and Technology) we believe that the configuration of a stable and sustainable future depends, more than ever, on creativity. The future will be in the hands of those who know how to convert a creative act into a creator. So, in ESAT we bet on talent.
That's why ESAT has thought that a good way to start an audiovisual contest is to dedicate a first edition to meet those people who possess that potential that is so necessary to improve an immediate future.
Therefore, the theme of this first event will consist of a kind of "personal presentation", a self-portrait made in audiovisual format, an audiovisual selfie. The audiovisual must contain what the author feels identified, a "short film", ultimately where he himself is in some way the protagonist. A coincidence that can be narrated in multiple ways and through the genre and format that each one considers more opportune.

We continue to accept submissions but please not your film will be submitted to the 2020 edition NOT 2019. This is due to Government elections on Madeira.
Teatro Municipal Baltazar Dias, Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.
The entry fee is 30 / 40 / 50 Euros depending upon submissions date and irrespective of genre and running time. Exhibiting filmmakers will be offered 3 nights accommodation including breakfast on Madeira during the festival.

The Madeira Film Festival is non – competitive. Rather than present awards MFF offers delegates the status of ‘AMBASSADOR OF THE LAURISSILVA’ thus helping to preserve and create awareness of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva forest.
The Madeira Film Festival organisation fervently believes there is no better place in the world to stage a film festival than on the piquant Island of Madeira and there is no better place on Madeira to stage a film festival than in glorious Reid’s Palace Hotel and the Municipal Theatre in Funchal.
The crux of the Madeira Film Festival is to pay homage to the resilience of Madeira’s endemic Laurissilva Forest by screening a slate of films which are expansive, unsettling and profound,films which will hopefully impinge upon the viewers imagination.
One of the most effective measures that can be implemented in order to raise awareness of the Laurissilva forest and subsequently it’s preservation is through the undisputed persuasive strength of audio- visual communication. The aspiration of the Madeira Film Festival is to become one of Europe’s foremost film festivals, by sheer virtue of location there exists an inherent capacity to attain this.
This Festival is born, as a stream of Aguaespejo Granada, following the teachings on poetic mechanisms of participatory experience and expanded cinema of the filmmaker and Granada-born inventor Val del Omar.
The idea is to promote poetic and experimental cinema and extend its presence to the geography of our city.
Cinespejo Festival, to be held in Las Gabias in 2019, aims to be a benchmark for the public who loves cinema and poetry.

Since its creation in 2007, this cultural event consists of organizing a unique event around the cinema. It is an opportunity to broadcast several films, documentaries or shorts, for nearly a week within the premises of IAE Lille.
The theme common to the various films is intended to stimulate a discussion on management methods, focusing on disruptions as well as innovative initiatives and the emergence of new practices. It is a question of considering with a certain critical spirit the social and managerial dimension brought by cinematographic productions. This is what constitutes his positioning, in a sense his commitment.
