LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) è la principale vetrina di Los Angeles di sperimentazione nei media cinematografici, video e audio. Si concentra su cinema d'avanguardia, d'arte, indipendente e non a basso budget, con la quinta edizione che si terrà a luglio 2020, Los Angeles.
Il nostro programma offre ai registi una sede per reinventare ed esplorare nuovi approcci, promuovere nuove forme di media art e costruire un pubblico per questo tipo di lavoro. Il nostro obiettivo è presentare una vasta gamma di lavori che esplorano le numerose definizioni e interpretazioni del concetto di «underground».
Cerchiamo film realizzati con passione, ossessione e spinta; film che vadano oltre le aspettative e il genere; film, progetti video e audio che si sforzano di superare i confini della forma e dei contenuti accettati. Un forte senso di paternità è un must.
LAUFF accetta tutte le forme e generi: dal dramma, documentario, sperimentale, cult, art-house, lingua straniera, commedia, horror, fantascienza, animazione, LGBT, indigeni, erotici, cinema lento e video arte...

In 1945 the American army landed in southern Italy for the "liberation" campaign and suddenly passed through Molfetta, our base city. During their stay the allies reported some neighborhoods as "OUT OF LIMITS" due to the "social danger" of the people who lived there. In the first two editions, 2013 and 2014, our festival took place in two squares, Piazza San Michele and Piazza delle Erbe, near the areas still considered by many to be "out of bounds", in Molfetta.
The “Out Of Bounds” film event is run by filmmakers and focuses on empowering the best independent artists and encouraging all aspects of independent film production. We seek the unconventional, the unusual, the underground, the intuitive, the innovative and the true.
Subsequent editions took place in the cloister of the church of San Domenico, in the port area of the town and in the ancient arena of the castle of Barletta, an evocative and historic medieval place and at the Artists' Citadel of Molfetta.
The special sections chosen for this edition are "Dystopian shorts”, short films dealing with themes related to pollution, war, and the exploitation of resources, including dystopian scenarios, and “Shorts on gender equality, even those directed by a male director" (INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL).
There is no submission fee for short films from Iran, Palestine, Ukraine, Venezuela, Sudan, Yemen or a State in a critical political situation.

In questa versione siamo ancora una volta uno spazio faccia a faccia, che restituisce i nostri cuori ai corpi collettivi del deserto. AricaDoc è nato come un percorso per esplorare alternative alla concorrenza e alla mercificazione che le logiche industriali impongono alle arti cinematografiche.
Promuovere un incontro sensibile e politico basato sulla ricerca attiva di nuovi modi per percepire il nostro rapporto con il mondo che ci circonda.
Siamo profondamente grati a tutti coloro che si sono uniti alle comunità di spettatori del festival provenienti da territori lontani, e pensiamo a loro che almeno una parte del programma sarà disponibile su una piattaforma di visualizzazione online, accessibile dal Perù, dalla Bolivia e dal Cile.
Per quest'anno le attività si concentreranno tra il 3 e il 12 ottobre. Essendo questo bando aperto dal 26 giugno al 27 luglio, tramite FESTHOME.

ENTRETODOS 19 - È un Festival ad ingresso gratuito dedicato alla mostra e alla premiazione di cortometraggi, della durata massima di 25 minuti, di tutti i generi e formati, che affronta questioni relative ai diritti umani.

L'unico scopo del BEFF è quello di sviluppare una cultura cinematografica che ispiri e riunisca tutti i tipi di cineasti, indipendentemente dal loro genere cinematografico. BEFF mira anche ad apprezzare e promuovere la creatività in tutte le forme, che si tratti di un film o di una fotografia per il mondo e per un pubblico diversificato.
L'evento è un evento glamour sul tappeto rosso a Calcutta. I partecipanti hanno ottime opportunità di scambio di idee, ideologie e insinuazioni culturali. I vincitori hanno la possibilità di incontrare il pubblico dopo la proiezione.

Horror, Sci-Fi, Contemporary Western, Neo-Noir, Absurdist Comedy, Fantasy, Splatterpunk, Magical Realism, Creature Feature, Psychological Thriller, Modern Samurai, ZomRomCom, Exploitation and Grindhouse, Road Trip, Documentary ad Mockumentary, Experimental and Non-Narrative... whatever weird quirks spark your camera rolling, we want to give you an exhibition home to exorcise them with an appreciative audience.
(and if being pushed into a box is your thing, well ok, show us that!)

We do not categorize submissions by genre, only by duration. We will program screening blocks based upon the characteristics of the selected films themselves.
BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY Edition! New town, new time, same eclectic and eccentric programming. Lansing's REO Town takes over hosting our two-night-and-all-of-a-day festival, including screenings and at our festival's new home in the beautiful Robin Theatre and other venues, a Friday night Film.Craft.Beer VIP Party, and Filmmaker Q&As. Jury and Audience Awards will be presented during the festival.

San Diego Underground Film Festival (SDUFF) is San Diego's premier showcase of experimentation in video, film, and audio based mediums. A strong DIY ethos, combined with an art school brain and a punk rock heart makes the San Diego Underground Film Festival a unique place for films, videos, and audio pieces that strive to push the boundaries of accepted form and content. Films and videos that dissent radically in form or technique will be our priority in selections. Narrative films and documentaries that expand on narrative structure, or cover subjects related to subcultures or esoteric topics; animations both narrative and experimental; experimental films and video art; all will be considered for selection. Films and videos must show a strong sense of authorship.

MACAU INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL («FESTIVAL») è un festival audiovisivo mondiale annuale che mira a motivare le produzioni di cortometraggi e video musicali all'estero e di Macao a competere in questo FESTIVAL.
Il Festival era precedentemente noto come «Sound & Image Challenge» ed è stato lanciato per la prima volta nel 2010 concentrandosi solo su un concorso audiovisivo per talenti locali. Questa iniziativa è stata co-fondata con professionisti del cinema, della musica, del suono e dell'immagine, con due priorità: promuovere le industrie creative nel settore audiovisivo ed evidenziare i talenti locali nella produzione di suoni e immagini in movimento. Nel corso degli anni, si è espanso in 5 continenti, è cresciuto e ha ottenuto riconoscimenti, fino a diventare finalmente un festival di cortometraggi nel 2015.
Il Festival si terrà dal 6 al 12 dicembre 2026. Durante la settimana del Festival saranno programmati una serie di programmi culturali in diverse sedi di Macao, come proiezioni pubbliche della selezione ufficiale di «SHORTS & VOLUME», masterclass di produzione cinematografica, sviluppo, curatela e organizzazione del Festival Internazionale del Cinema, votazione del pubblico per il «Premio del pubblico» e cerimonie di gala di premiazione.
KINObrunch 2019: call for entries
To all movie-makers out there! The International Theater and Music Festival JULA welcomes young and talented film directors between the ages of 18 and 35 to participate in this year’s KINObrunch. The 2019 JULA festival will take place from 13-17 November 2019.
About KINObrunch:
JULA has been taking place in Munich annually since 2004. The festival is a five-day program consisting of theater, music, photography, and film. KINObrunch represents the cinematic part of the festival, providing a platform for a wide range of cinematography genres, namely fiction, documentary, experimental and animated short films.
Films selected by jury will be presented to an audience of film directors and critics. Following the performance, the audience has an opportunity to discuss artistic content as well as the subject of the shown works in the circle of experts and filmmakers. Best Director, Best Camera, Best Script, Best Soundtrack and an Audience Award will be granted to the winner as part of KINObrunch.
KINObrunch is open not only in terms of genres but also in chosen subject.
