Das International Gay, Lesbian Trans Film Festival of Lima — OutfestPerú — hat seine Ausschreibung für 23 Ausgaben eröffnet. Filme aller Nationalitäten, deren Thema LGBTIQ ist und die für die verschiedenen Sektionen des Festivals in Frage kommen, können daran teilnehmen: Spielfilme (Offizielle Sektion und Internationales Panorama), Sektion Kurzfilme entweder Dokumentarfilm oder Fiktion und Videokunst (Official und Panorama). Die Werke dürfen vor der Feier des Festivals nicht in kommerziellen Theatern ausgestellt, im Fernsehen ausgestrahlt oder der Öffentlichkeit im Internet oder anderen Fenstern auf peruanischem Gebiet zugänglich gemacht worden sein und müssen nach 2024 urheberrechtlich geschützt sein. Spiel- und Kurzfilme müssen in Peru möglichst unveröffentlicht sein, obwohl dies nicht exklusiv ist, sondern sehr positiv bewertet wird. OutfestPerú behält sich das Recht vor, Filme, die diese Bedingungen nicht erfüllen, aber nicht im Wettbewerb stehen, in das Programm aufzunehmen.

Construir Cine ist das einzige internationale Labor Film Festival in Argentinien. Die nächste Ausgabe findet im Mai 2024 in Buenos Aires im Hybridmodus (persönlich und online) statt.
Construir Cine feiert das nationale und internationale Kino mit dem Ziel, Filmemacher anzuerkennen und zu unterstützen und das Wissen, die Zugänglichkeit und das Verständnis für soziale und berufliche Probleme in einer breiten und vielfältigen Öffentlichkeit zu verbessern.
Construir Cine ist eine Veranstaltung, die vom Fernsehsender UOCRA Foundation for the Education of Construction Workers — im Folgenden der Veranstalter genannt — mit Unterstützung des National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) und seiner On-Demand-Plattform CINE.AR organisiert und von UOCRA CULTURA und Construyendo Arte gesponsert wird. Dieses Festival ist Teil des Global Labor Film Festival, einer Organisation, die Arbeitsfilmfestivals aus der ganzen Welt zusammenbringt, und gehört zu „RAFMA“: Argentine Network of Audiovisual Festivals and Exhibitions.

Das Cisterna Film Festival ist ein internationales Kurzfilmfestival, das im Juli in Cisterna di Latina, Italien, stattfindet. Es wird vom Kulturverein Mobilitazioni Artistiche unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Cristian Scardigno organisiert.

Im Jahr 2017 eröffnete Polen es mit Unterstützung des Polnischen Instituts in Rom, und 2018 war Irland an der Reihe, in Zusammenarbeit mit der Irish Film Festa und der irischen Botschaft. 2019 gab es mit Unterstützung von German Films und der Deutschen Botschaft in Rom einen Fokus auf Deutschland und 2021 den Fokus auf Griechenland in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Drama International Short Film Festival, einem qualifizierenden Festival für den Europäischen Filmpreis. Im Jahr 2022 zeigte das CFF mit Unterstützung des Kroatischen Audiovisuellen Zentrums Kurzfilme aus Kroatien. Im vergangenen Jahr veranstaltete das Festival in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Consulat Général de France a Jérusalem und dem palästinensischen Kulturministerium Kurzfilme palästinensischer Autoren.
Das Festival empfängt jährlich Schlüsselfiguren aus dem Showbusiness und organisiert Begleitveranstaltungen wie Buchpräsentationen, Workshops für Jugendliche und Fotoausstellungen.

Das 20. River Film Festival ist ein internationales Filmfestival, das vom 3. bis 20. Juni 2026 in Padua, Italien, stattfindet.
Das Festival wird von der Cultural Association Researching Movies organisiert und vom Stadtrat von Padua, der Region Venetien und dem italienischen Kulturministerium unterstützt.
Padua wurde kürzlich dank der Scrovegni-Kapelle von Giotto und der Freskenzyklen der Stadt aus dem 14. Jahrhundert in die Liste des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes aufgenommen und ist damit eine ganz besondere Kunststadt, die Touristen und Kreative aus der ganzen Welt anzieht.

Die ausgewählten Filme werden erneut auf einer schwimmenden Leinwand gezeigt, die sich in der Mitte des Flusshafens von Porta Portello aus dem 16. DWF has had many filmmakers go on to create series, such as the highly rated THE LAST SHIP, created by 2000 alum, Steven Kane. We are pleased to present year 6 of Dances With Kidz! This program consists of films created for kids and most importantly... created BY kids. There is a pro section along with the kids section (18 and below).
2 Minute Short Film Challenge
And on the creative side, DWF also produces up to ten short films during the week of the festival. The 2 Minute Short Film Challenge has become an exciting favorite program at the festival. Utilizing the latest digital technology and pure filmmaking ingenuity, submitted scripts are shot, edited and screened in front of evening competition films during the festival.
Academy® Qualification:
We also qualify a slate of shorts for Academy Award® consideration through our friends at Laemmle Theatres and Double Exposure in Los Angeles. Short films that premiere with us actually have a higher possibility of being Academy® qualified than most any other short film competition in the country.

The Hazel Eye Film Festival (HEFF) is interested in experimental live action films, as well as experimental animations. We are looking for any work that pushes the boundaries of the audiovisual art form. Short film submissions should be no longer than 25 minutes, and feature film submissions should be no shorter than 40 minutes.
Submit your work through FestHome before March 26th, 2019; selections will be made by the following week, on April 2nd, 2019.
HEFF will take place over the course of one week, from April 9th, 2019 until April 16th, 2019; Official Selections will screen online, via HEFF's website, on designated days throughout the festival week.
