Das Carmarthen Bay Film Festival hat sich im Laufe der Jahre von Stärke zu Stärke entwickelt. Von unserem ersten Festival im Jahr 2012 sind wir von 35 Einreichungen auf weit über 750 aus 60 verschiedenen Ländern für unser Festival 2019 gegangen. Die Einreichungen haben nicht nur im Laufe der Jahre zugenommen, sondern auch die Zahl der anwesenden Filmemacher und Festivalgönner.
Wir haben Filmemacher aus den USA, Australien, Holland, Italien, Frankreich und vielen Teilen des Vereinigten Königreichs geflogen. Die Anzahl der Festivalpartner ist auch gewachsen mit Stradey Park Hotel, BAFTA Cymru, RTS Wales, University of Wales Trinity St. David, Felin Foel Brewery, Carmarthen Cymru und vielen mehr. Das Festival ist jetzt ein BAFTA Cymru/Wales Qualifikation, was bedeutet, dass jeder Film, der während des Festivals gezeigt und hier in Wales produziert wird, berechtigt ist, sich für einen BAFTA Cymru Award zu bewerben.
Unser 8. Festival hat einige bedeutende Veränderungen erlebt, seit sieben Jahren findet das Festival im Stradey Park Hotel hier in Llanelli statt. Das Hotel war sehr unterstützend, und ohne ihre Hilfe wäre das Festival nicht in der Lage gewesen, vom Boden zu kommen. Mit der vollen Unterstützung des Stradey Parks fühlten wir, dass es Zeit war, weiterzumachen und etwas Neues auszuprobieren. So fand 2019 CBFF in einem der führenden Theater von Wales im Zentrum von Llanelli statt, was dem Festival eine neue und spannende Dynamik und ein Gefühl brachte.
Es geht um Fairness, unser Motto.

Mit dem John Hefin Award für lebenslange Leistung in Film, Fernsehen oder Theater. Und wir freuen uns, dass John Morgan von JM Creative diese Auszeichnung während unserer Awards Gala 2019 angenommen hat.

John Hefin wurde erstmals 1960 an der Fernseharbeit beteiligt, als er auf eine Zeitungswerbung für Lehrlingsproduktionsassistenten reagierte. In den 1960er Jahren arbeitete er als Produzent und Regisseur für BBC Wales. 1974 half er bei der Schaffung der walisischen Seifenoper Pobol y Cwm, der am längsten laufenden Fernsehseifenoper der BBC. Er schrieb und regierte 1978 den Fernseh-Rugby-Comedy-Film Grand Slam und inszenierte 1981 die Drama-Serie The Life and Times of David Lloyd George. Diese neunteilige Serie, ein Biopic basierend auf dem walisischen PM, zog auf Gespräche mit Lady Olwen, seiner ältesten Tochter, und AJ Sylvester, seiner Sekretärin. 1984 war John der Regisseur für die Erzählung für eine animierte Version von Prinz Charles Kindergeschichte Der Alte Mann von Lochnagar.
Nach seinem Posten als Head of Drama bei BBC Wales arbeitete er am Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies an der Aberystwyth University. 1988 wurde er künstlerischer Leiter des Film Cymru (später in Wales Film Council umbenannt), der mit der Inbetriebnahme von Filmen unabhängiger walisischer Produzenten mit S4C-Mitteln betraut wurde. Er war Vorsitzender der Film Commission Wales und Vorsitzender von Cyfrwng, einer walisischen Medienzeitschrift und Netzwerk. 1993 trat er von der BBC in den Ruhestand. 2004 inszenierte er einen Dokumentarfilm mit dem Künstler Sir Kyffin Williams, Reflections in a Gondola
John wurde 2009 mit dem MBE ausgezeichnet, für „Dienste für walisische Film und Drama“. Im Jahr 2012 wurde er mit dem BAFTA Cymru Special Award for Outstanding Contribution to Television Drama ausgezeichnet.

Fajr International Festivals (little: FIFF; Persian: جشنواره فجر) are Iranian annual festivals, held every year in Tehran, Iran. Annual Festivals for Film, Music, Theater, Visual Arts, Poetry etc. The festivals, started in 1982, is under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance in Iran. It takes place every year on the anniversary of the Iranian revolution. The festivals has been promoted both locally and abroad through television, radio and webinars with previous speakers coming from countries all around the world.
The 8th Fajr Fashion Festival will be held at the Goftogoo Park in Tehran Febraury 14th till 17th. The festival will showcase some one the best and latest models and designs of the Islamic fashion.
Now this year at the Fajr Fashion Festival, We are representing a new competition category. The competition will accept Short Films (Fictions, Documentaries),Commercials and everything that is fashion related.
Habitat Photosphere is a biennial photofestival that combines the themes of Photography and Cultural Sustainability. The Sustainable Development Film Festival is part of Photosphere's efforts to encourage people to create art, photographs, films and other creative content to promote sustainable develpoment.
*Main Focus of the festival is on the five counties around the Caspian Sea*

INDEPENDENT AREA CINEMA is the first Neapolitan film club dedicated exclusively to Italian and foreign NO / Low Budget films. From October 2018 will screen every Tuesday and Wednesday independent films from all over the world. Along with the screenings, the films will take part in a final festival with awards in April 2019.
And they will all be included in the cinema programming anyway.
The International Festival of the Mediterranean Cinema of Tetouan holds its 25rd edition from March 23th to 30th, 2019 in Tetouan, Morocco.
Artistic and cultural event, the festival is pursuing the following aims:
• To promote the knowledge and the distribution of the cinematographic productions of the two shores of the Mediterranean.
• To encourage and to promote the exchanges between the Mediterranean filmmakers.
Important note on COVID-19: None of the Indie Short Fest live events will be cancelled. Although are currently postponed, all of the screenings and Q&As will be scheduled for the first safe opportunity, even if they have to be merged in large events. Until then, ISF-LA has also optional streaming opportunities for who wants to join, namely VOD or monthly subscription via our TV channel.
This means that our event dates designate, at this temporary stage, the day for the announcement of the award winners of each season. The respective live events will take place as soon as possible.

IMDb qualifier Indie Short Fest (ISF-LA) is an LA-based international film competition with red carpet live screenings and Q&A at the Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, CA, every two months.
ISF-LA is looking for independent projects from all genres, particularly low or no-budget ones, as well as from all countries, especially from those traditionally underrepresented in the global film industry.
Each round, all submitted projects are featured in ISF-LA site and social media (with the publication of synopsis, stills and a trailer/teaser) as part of a general promotional action of indie production. Submitter has the option of decline any public highlight, as long as notified ISF-LA, keeping however his project(s) under consideration. These projects are judged by a random team of invited experts from academia and film industry from Los Angeles area, against a high standard of merit. From the pool of official selection, which has a very competitive acceptance rate, ISF-LA chose the nominees and award winners of the season. All of them can add their projects to IMDb. Some of the award-winning projects, selected by the programmers of ISF-LA, are publicly screened in Los Angeles at the end of each round.

Every submission can add numerous additional judging categories increasing the chance to become a multi-award-winning. In these cases, the name(s) to be credited should be included in the submission.
Notice that any entry is judged only according to the nature of the submitted category or categories. After the preliminary evaluation, ISF-LA can email the submitter with recommendations to other categories in which the entry can be more suitable to and have more chances to be a good competitor. Still, the decision to submit to other categories, and the payment of the associated fees, belong exclusively to the submitter and does not guarantee any award or the official selection.

INFANCINEMARÍN, organized by the CULTURAL ASSOCIATION BIG AJAJAI with the collaboration of the COLEGIO SAN NARCISO DE MARÍN and the EXCMO. CONCELLO DE MARÍN, arises with the idea of bringing the smallest and youngest audiovisual works that talk about the subjects that interest them, with an accessible language but not for it less artistic, making them discover new ways of telling histories.
The Festival, which will take place from 5 to 7 April in Marín (Pontevedra - Spain).
60Seconds is a Copenhagen-based film festival projecting selected short films in the urban space since 2006, and transforming the streets into URBAN cinemas. The films must be about this years theme, just one minute long and with no sound or credits in it- we will ad the credits in the last editing.

Das Master of Art Film Festival ist eine einzigartige kulturelle Veranstaltung und das einzige internationale Filmfestival für Kunstdokumentationen in Osteuropa. Es findet in Bulgarien statt — Sofia, Plovdiv und Varna.
Das Festival konzentriert sich auf verschiedene künstlerische Ansätze zur Kunst.
Das Programm ist dem Dokumentarfilm gewidmet, der die künstlerische Vision sowohl der Kunstgeschichte als auch der zeitgenössischen Kunstformen repräsentiert und die multikulturelle Vielfalt unserer Zeit feiert.
Unser Ziel ist es, Dokumentarfilme zu zeigen, die die Talente und den kreativen Prozess in den folgenden Kategorien zum Ausdruck bringen:
Architektur, Design und Mode, Kunst und Macht, Zeitgenössische Kunst, Kochkunst, Bildende Kunst, Fotografie, Literatur, Musik und Tanz, Theater und Kino.
Dokumentarfilme, die nach dem 1. Januar 2024 veröffentlicht wurden, können am Wettbewerb des Master of Art Film Festival teilnehmen.
Die Mission des Master of Art Film Festivals ist es, eine alternative Plattform zur Massenkultur zu schaffen. Wir wollen eine Gelegenheit schaffen und einen Beitrag zum Dialog und zur Zusammenarbeit zwischen Künstlern leisten. Das Festival ist das größte Forum in Osteuropa für junge Dokumentarfilmer, die versucht sind, inspirierende Geschichten über die Kunst zu erzählen.
Das Master of Art Film Festival wird von der Spotlight Production Company, dem Nationalen Kulturpalast und der Stiftung Master of Art mit finanzieller Unterstützung der Stadt Sofia, AURUBIS BULGARIA, des Bulgarischen Nationalen Filmzentrums usw. organisiert.

Through My Eyes ist ein internationales und indigenes Kurzfilmfestival, das versucht, die Geschichten indigener Völker aus der ganzen Welt zu präsentieren. Das Festival zielt darauf ab, das Wort Indigenous neu zu definieren, was ursprünglich „des Landes“ bedeutet, und damit durch das Verständnis, dass wir alle indigene irgendwo sind, Gemeinschaft zu schaffen. Es spielt keine Rolle, ob Sie in den Vereinigten Staaten, den Ureinwohnern Australiens, Europas, Asiens oder Afrikas heimisch sind.

Clapham Film Club is a monthly film club, where we get together to watch short films made by the talent of tomorrow.
The event is curated by Distributor Fabulosis Films Ltd.
Out of all of the films we have watched and received, we will nominate a winner and offer a $100 cash prize. Winner will be announced in December 2018.
