The Central American Film Festival in Vienna has become a firmly rooted tradition, establishing itself as a key cultural event in the city.
Vienna, recognized as one of the world’s most important cultural hubs, provides an ideal and prestigious platform to showcase the increasingly innovative and notable productions emerging from the Central American region.
This year, the festival returns from November 17 to 22, 2025, with the hope of once again welcoming our loyal audience, who will have the opportunity to enjoy the latest and most outstanding works of Central American cinema.
The program includes the categories of Feature Film, Short Film, Documentary, and Animation, along with several non-competitive parallel sections, including: “Pioneers of Central American Cinema,” “Works in Progress,” “Guest Film,” “Bonus Films,” and “Latin American View,” the latter dedicated to works portraying contemporary life in Latin America. Le Festival du Cinéma d’Amérique centrale à Vienne est devenu une tradition solidement ancrée, s’imposant comme un événement culturel de référence dans la ville.
Vienne, reconnue comme l’un des centres culturels les plus importants au monde, offre une scène idéale et prestigieuse pour mettre en lumière les productions de plus en plus innovantes et remarquables provenant de la région centraméricaine.

Le programme comprend les catégories Long-métrage, Court-métrage, Documentaire et Animation, ainsi que plusieurs sections parallèles non compétitives, parmi lesquelles : « Pionniers du Cinéma Centraméricain », « Œuvres en Cours », « Film Invité », « Bonus Films » et « Regard Latino-Américain », cette dernière consacrée aux œuvres qui dépeignent la vie contemporaine en Amérique latine. Um die kulturelle Atmosphäre in der Region zu beleben, schlug das Bajo Martín Study Center 2009 die Organisation eines internationalen Kurzfilmfestivals mit ländlichen Themen vor.
Dies zeigt anhand von Dokumentar- und Spielfilmen andere Realitäten und ländliche Umgebungen, die sich von unseren unterscheiden, in verschiedenen Teilen der Welt.
Dieses Projekt wurde mit der Idee geboren, Kino mit ländlicher Umgebung zu verbinden und es den Bewohnern der Region und der Öffentlichkeit näher zu bringen. Das Festival hat Ausgabe für Ausgabe konsolidiert und damit seine Bedeutung innerhalb der Festivalbranche erhöht. Jedes Jahr steigt die Zahl der eingegangenen Vorschläge, hauptsächlich Kurzfilme von hoher Qualität, die aus allen Teilen der Welt eingereicht wurden.
Das Festival hat sich im Laufe der Jahre zu einem unverzichtbaren Ereignis auf der kulturellen Agenda der Region entwickelt. Es ist sehr erfolgreich geworden und hat eine hohe Besucherzahl erreicht, und eine große Anzahl von Zuschauern kommt, um sich die Werke der Finalisten während des gesamten Wettbewerbs anzusehen.

Das Mogilev State Enterprise „Kinovideoprokat“ heißt Sie willkommen und teilt Ihnen mit, dass im September 2026 in der Stadt Mogilev, Republik Belarus, das XXVIII. Internationale Animationsfilmfestival „Animaevka-2026" stattfinden wird.
Im Laufe der Jahre hat sich das Festival zu einem Fest der Animation für Kinder und Erwachsene entwickelt. Veranstaltungen finden in allen regionalen Zentren von Belarus statt.

Das Festival findet auf dem Pay-TV-Kanal Morbido TV statt, online, ein Drive-in und hoffentlich in Theatern, voll unter Beachtung der sanitären Richtlinien von Mexiko-Stadt.
Aufgrund der Pandemie und der derzeitigen Sanitärbeschränkungen können wir weder internationale noch nationale Gäste beherbergen, aber wir betonen, dass alle unsere Vorführungen von Q/A Sessions mit den Filmemachern in unserer Auswahl begleitet werden. Diese Sessions werden während des Festivals auf Morbido TV und seine App übertragen.

Also with this DIFF 2024 is showcased 193 films from more than 58 countries and about 100 works of art displayed at the Art Show. Film Personalities, Artists, Diplomats, Political dignitaries and audiences close to 15000, will witness the spectacular Opening Ceremony, Closing & Awards Event and savor the vast variety of films screened during the festival.
With the focus on African Cinema , DIFF will screen some very interesting films.

Wenn die Bewegung unseres Körpers mit der kinematografischen Bewegung verschmilzt, entsteht eines der originellsten Filmgenres: der Tanzfilm. Worte können in die Irre führen, aber die Körpersprache lügt nicht.
Choreoscope ist das Internationale Tanzfilmfestival von Barcelona. Eine einzigartige Veranstaltung, die nicht nur denjenigen gewidmet ist, die sich für Tanz begeistern, sondern auch für diejenigen, die Qualitätskino mögen. Unser Ziel ist es, die engen Verbindungen zur Kunst im Allgemeinen und zu Film und Tanz im Besonderen zu fördern. Wir haben es uns zum Ziel gesetzt, 2013 ins Leben gerufen und mit drei großen Veranstaltungen veranstaltet.

In March 2004 the 1st international short film festival for films by artists was held in Gstaad, Switzerland, with the ultimate prize being 'The Golden Cow of Gstaad'. For the organisers of Gstaad Film, the event was a great success: Many artists made use of the possibility to present their works at the festival & the quality of the program was high, attracting many films from Switzerland and entries from as far away as Argentina. The three days of the festival gave many possibilities for interesting contacts, not only for we the organisers, but also for a numerous and interested audience who were left excited, enthralled and enriched by the experience.
The positive reaction generated over the three-day period encouraged us to start organising a second festival. To improve the organisation and to give the participants/entrants more time, we decided to organise the festival in a two-year cycle, as a biennale.
HEMOGLOZINE ist eine kulturelle Veranstaltung, die auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene gestärkt wird. Ein Filmfestival, das sich auf die Genres mit größerem Einfluss und Anhänger in der ganzen Welt konzentriert, Horror, Science-Fiction und Fantasy-Genre. Das Festival veranstaltet einen internationalen Kurzfilmwettbewerb mit 5 Vorführungen und andere parallele Veranstaltungen ohne Wettbewerb, die sich mit der Entwicklung des baskischen und sprachlichen Zusammenlebens (MINTZAGUN-Projektion in Zusammenarbeit mit Oarsoaldea euskaltegis), Gleichstellung der Geschlechter (BEKOZ BEKO-Preis in Zusammenarbeit mit der Vereinigung gegen geschlechtsspezifische Gewalt Bekoz Beko), Förderung der Kultur in Pasaia und Umgebung usw. befassen.
