El Festival Internacional de Cine de Tapiales es uno de los festivales de cortometrajes más importantes de Argentina. Un evento cinematográfico de importante impacto social y cultural sin fines de lucro, organizado por JC Films OFCT, que se realiza en el pueblo de Tapiales, localidad perteneciente al partido de La Matanza, ubicado en la provincia de Buenos Aires. Es también un certamen competitivo, donde se proyectan los cortometrajes seleccionados que más tarde reciben el premio Aborigen según el fallo de los honorables miembros del jurado. El evento se realiza bajo la premisa de enaltecer el carácter popular, gratuito y al aire libre. Tapiales también propone actividades paralelas, como espacios formativos, charlas y muestras especiales fuera de competencia.

Reglas y términos
La duración de los cortometrajes debe ser de 1 minuto a 40 minutos como máximo.
Las películas son seleccionadas por los organizadores del Festival y el Festival de Cine Euroasiático de Nueva York y los American Filmatic Arts Awards.
Se informará a los cineastas cuando el jurado y el comité de selección tomen decisiones.
La calzada romana VIA XIV ha cruzado el valle de Monterrey durante 2000 años. Hoy en día las calzadas y vías férreas, algunas construidas sobre las antiguas calzadas romanas, y otras que discurren paralelas y a poca distancia, nos dan una idea de su importancia y vigencia.
Durante todo este tiempo han sido un camino de nuevas ideas, progreso y cultura. El festival de cortometrajes de Verín quiere continuar este camino de la cultura, acercando la mirada de creadores de todo el mundo en torno al carnaval, la emigración y la frontera.

Objeto del Festival
FICAE - Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes y Arte sobre Enfermedades convoca la 4ª edición de (4FICAE) invitando a todos aquellos creadores audiovisuales que deseen dar a conocer sus cortometrajes de todo tipo de géneros cinematográficos cuya temática principal tenga relación directa con algún tipo de enfermedad y con el ámbito de la salud.
El objetivo de este Festival es fomentar la sensibilización y conciencia social sobre la enfermedad como proceso de vida, ayudando a la desestigmatización que muchas enfermedades siguen soportando. Por otro lado, este Festival, pretende estimular la creación artística a través del lenguaje audiovisual para dar una mayor visibilidad y transmitir conocimiento sobre las enfermedades, tanto las que suponen una alteración de la salud como las consideradas enfermedades sociales y sus consecuencias.

El Festival tendrá lugar en diversas sedes de la ciudad de Valencia durante la última semana de febrero y primera semana de marzo de 2018.

El Festival Internacional de Cine UNAM fue concebido por la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México en 2011 como un festival abierto a la investigación y exploración académica del cine, y como una importante ventana de exhibición en México para películas independientes del mundo incluyendo los géneros de documental, ficción e híbridos.
Desde nuestra primera edición nos dedicamos a presentar películas cuya exhibición es de difícil acceso en nuestro país y nos interesamos por explorar las propuestas vanguardistas del cine, con especial interés en el aspecto formal de las películas y en su convergencia con otras disciplinas artísticas. Pensamos tanto en el trabajo de jóvenes talentos como en el de directores consagrados, así como en películas avaladas por festivales internacionales de primera línea.
FICUNAM es un festival que apuesta por la creación de un nuevo público y por la difusión de la cultura cinematográfica.
Gracias a la colaboración con la Filmoteca de la UNAM y con importantes instituciones internacionales como la Cinemateca Portuguesa, quien durante nuestra sexta edición colabora con un programa del cineasta Paulo Rocha, hemos redescubierto parte importante de nuestro patrimonio al rescatar algunas joyas cinematográficas de sus archivos.

1. Pase de festival gratuito para todos los cineastas que se inscriban
Todos los que envíen una película a Mirror Mountain, independientemente de si es seleccionada o no, obtienen un pase gratuito para asistir a todo el festival.
2. Los cineastas locales se pueden inscribir gratis
Las películas de cualquier duración se pueden enviar de forma gratuita si se rodaron o editaron en un radio de 125 km de Ottawa. Esta área incluye Gatineau, Maniwaki, Mont Tremblant, Montebello, Hawkesbury, Cornualles, Potsdam, Brockville, Smiths Falls, Perth, Renfrew, Arnprior y más.
3. Inscripciones gratuitas para exalumnos
Si dirigiste una película que fue seleccionada oficialmente en una edición anterior de Mirror Mountain, puedes volver a inscribirla sin coste alguno.
4. Te devolvemos tu dinero
Si tu película ha sido seleccionada oficialmente para proyectarse en el festival, te reembolsaremos la cuota de inscripción original.
5. Pagamos honorarios de artistas.
Si tu película es seleccionada oficialmente para proyectarse en el festival, también recibirás una cuota de artista como agradecimiento por permitirnos proyectar tu obra.
6. Menos restricciones
No tenemos requisitos de estreno ni fecha de finalización. Su película sigue siendo elegible incluso si se ha proyectado anteriormente en la región de Ottawa, se ha distribuido, se ha emitido por televisión o está disponible para su visualización en línea.
7. Mantente informado.
Tras inscribir tu película, recibirás una notificación del festival para confirmar que hemos recibido tu solicitud. Más adelante, recibirás una notificación con los resultados, independientemente de si tu película ha sido seleccionada o no.
8. Premios para los cineastas ganadores
Los premios se entregan en varias categorías una vez finalizado el festival. Los ganadores reciben un certificado y una selección de premios donados por nuestros patrocinadores.

True Edit Award – You create a short film using only the material (audio/visuals) provided by the 90 minute feature without losing the essence of the story!
Creative Edit Award – Or you create a 5 minute edit using different music (or even add a few visuals from another source) and be as imaginative as you can!
The topic of the short films will be the fight against gender violence.

Fast Anchor Film Festival (FAFF) was set up in early 2016 with the simple aim of bringing together talented filmmakers and fierce film-lovers to celebrate some of the best independent short films from across the world.
Welcome to the Fantasy Anime Sci-Fi Horror Film Festival 2017.
We are a 2nd year festival geared to screening Feature length, Short, Documentary, and Experimental Films along with Webisodes, Reels, Commercials, Music Videos and Trailers. We also have awards for best Screenplay and best Treatment. We will be holding our screenings at the Regal Cinemas at LA LIVE. We are expecting to have workshops, guest speakers and valuable networking events.

We are here for the Independent Filmmaker, we understand the struggles of making a film and we applaud that struggle. We also understand that the end result may or may not come out so perfect that is why we are committed to screening films of all types and budgets. We are not looking for the perfect film we are looking for creativity and escapism. So show us your work, let us get lost in your world and we'll be sure to give that experience to the rest of the world.
Welcome to the Movement Latino Film Festival. We are an exciting new film festival created by Latino artist, actors, filmmakers and journalist aimed at showcasing and highlighting Latino filmmakers and talent.
We are currently accepting feature length, short, documentary, experimental films and webisodes. We are also accepting screenplays both full and short length, we are also reading treatments as well.
Our festival will be located at the Monica Film Center within close proximity to the Santa Monica Pier and just one block away from the 3rd Street Promenade. Come bring your best work and celebrate our opening year which will host workshops, networking opportunities and competition comradery.
