Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
A-Tarcito: vitrine internacional de cinema para crianças convida todos os cineastas nacionais e internacionais de todas as idades para registrar suas obras audiovisuais para crianças, para participar de A-Tarcito, a ser realizada de 04 a 06 de novembro de 2020, nas cidades de Mexicali e Ensenada, B.C. O Festival Internacional de Cinema de Lésbicas, Gays, Bissexuais, Transgêneros e Intersexuais (Cinema Movilh) é exibido nos maiores e mais conhecidos documentários do Chile, que acontecem todos os anos em Santiago e depois percorrem regiões de diversidade sexual. Obras locais ou estrangeiras podem ser projetadas no Festival após postulação na forma indicada nestas regras.
ANTOFACINE, o Festival Internacional de Cinema de Antofagasta, é uma instância de encontro para cineastas nacionais e internacionais; com base nessa premissa, gostaríamos de contribuir para:
● Promover filmes de ficção, não ficção e animações como ferramentas para a transformação cultural e social e para beneficiar todos os residentes da região de Antofagasta.
● Promover o desenvolvimento de projetos audiovisuais na região e no país, apoiando a criação de um espaço profissional para promover obras audiovisuais locais, nacionais e internacionais; contribuindo para a formação de público e gerando um ponto de encontro em Antofagasta para a interação necessária de todos os agentes relevantes da indústria audiovisual.
A versão 12 do Festival Internacional de Cinema de Antofagasta, ANTOFACINE 2023, será realizada de 14 a 18 de novembro, na cidade de Antofagasta e em outros lugares da região.

O FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL FILM IN THE FIELD (FICC) promove o diálogo entre as comunidades rurais do México e a produção cinematográfica em curta-metragem, com a intenção de gerar novos circuitos, projetando o cinema ao ar livre.

Our 2015 festival was a huge successes with 253 animations entered from over 57 countries.We screened 55 out of the 253 over 3 days at Wooster, Ohio. O Instituto de Estudos Culturais, Políticos e Sociais do Homem Contemporâneo – IECPS, considerando seus compromissos institucionais e regimentais com a pesquisa, o fomento e a difusão das ações culturais, especialmente no que se refere ao cinema e ao audiovisual, resolve estabelecer os seguintes procedimentos para a participação nas mostras (competitivas e não competitivas) que compõem o Circuito Penedo de Cinema, quais sejam, o 13º Festival do Cinema Brasileiro de Penedo (curta metragem); o 10º Festival de Cinema Universitário de Alagoas (curta metragem), a 7ª Mostra Velho Chico de Cinema Ambiental (curta metragem) e a 10ª Mostra de Cinema Infantil (curta metragem). As atividades serão realizadas de 23 a 29 de novembro de 2020, na cidade de Penedo/AL, constituindo-se em atividade cultural de abrangência nacional, promovida em parceria com instituições públicas e privadas.
Em função de um eventual quadro de agravamento da pandemia mundial devido à COVID-19 e da necessidade do recrudescimento das restrições impostas à mobilidade social, a Comissão Organizadora do Circuito Penedo de Cinema se reserva o direito de transferir o festival para o meio online.
Caso se consolide a alternativa da realização de um Evento On-line, os realizadores selecionados deverão enviar uma autorização expressa, através de modelo de formulário emitido pela Comissão Organizadora, confirmando a inscrição e autorizando a exibição nesse formato. SiembraFest is a biennial and itinerant Colombian film festival that tours different municipalities in the department of Cundinamarca, facilitating the circulation and appropriation of national film productions, while providing tools for rural communities to actively participate in the construction of their own image.
Through its actions it generates emotional experiences that transform the public. The Festival de Cine Colombiano al Campo is a high-impact initiative that contributes to the generation of alternative exhibition scenarios and the development of new audiences in rural areas of the country, intervening in community spaces that promote the encounter of cinema with art and popular culture.
As part of our effort to contribute to the growth and consolidation of the creative industries, training activities will be held on topics of interest, promoting the meeting of the audiovisual and film sector in the regions.
The Festival de Cine Colombiano al Campo is a space for the promotion, diffusion and support of cinematographic works of national production. Any audiovisual work that represents the natural, social and cultural values of rural communities in Colombia is a film with the particular seal of SiembraFest. Works that address the traditions, practices, popular knowledge, manifestations of daily life or problems that affect rural communities in Colombia, through fiction, documentary and animation, may be submitted.
We value the creative freedom of national filmmakers and filmmakers, which is why our selection will include films of any format, length, genre or technique, as long as they are productions of quality, relevance and cinematographic pertinence. The viewing and deliberation of the films will be in charge of the Programming Committee, constituted by a group of cinephiles, experts in cinematography and subjects related to rurality who share criteria with the artistic direction of SiembraFest.
