La muestra internacional de cortometrajes Video/Jujuy/Cortos é um espaço de projeção audiovisual NÃO competitivo, sem fins lucrativos, aberto e gratuito organizado anualmente pela Wayruro Comunicación Popular.
O objetivo do Festival é promover a produção e divulgação de audiovisuais como meio de expressão e comunicação.
Este espaço artístico/cultural gratuito nasceu em 2002. Desde o início, o festival estabeleceu relações com escolas, organizações sociais, de bairro, de direitos humanos e artísticas, centros de atividades juvenis e organizações de povos nativos, tentando ser permeável às necessidades e demandas do meio, tanto em termos de temas quanto de gêneros, resultando em um programa variado que vai do vídeo social à animação, incluindo ficção e audiovisuais experimentais.
Como espaço e local de reflexão e ponto de encontro de criadores, profissionais renomados ministram workshops e palestras, buscando fornecer informações e treinamentos, gratuitamente, aos interessados. Este ano, a exposição foca esse espaço em pensar sobre a situação audiovisual, trabalhar e pensar em redes e consolidar a produção audiovisual comunitária e popular.
LA MANO, Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico y de Terror is a free and competitive festival and it is dedicated to fantasy, sci-fi and horror cinema.
We are a small nonprofit festival (free tickets for scifi audience) and we work with public libraries support (lectures, exhibitions...etc.) We have no corporate sponsorship. It is the people of the city, people who love horror (a lot of bakers, plumbers, teachers...etc) who fund us.
This festival was created as a contest with a-1000-Euro prize (best film) and 350 Euros (best short film). That's all we could offer, plus a quality projection in a really good theatre and Spanish press coverage.
Our organization wishes to create and perpetuate an exciting event that creates a community of horror and sci-fi fans and filmmakers who encourage and appreciate Spanish people about horror and sci-fi filmmaking.

The purpose of the group will disseminate and promote Argentine film genre to encourage their production, distribution and exhibition.
We created the "BA Fantastic Shorts" as a way to keep abreast of what is produced in the world and spread it in our country.

How our monthly festival works…
Our Monthly Festival is a showcase of Short films from around the world, screening 50 minutes of short film in the first half, followed by our selected Feature Short in the second. We also host a Q&A with filmmakers able to attend and talks with local creatives.
At each event, two films will be selected to win either one of our awards:
The People’s Choice Award
The Directors Choice Award
Films included in the first half are nominated for our 'The People's Choice Award’; This is evidently voted for our audiences on the night and votes are calculated collectively from all of our venues.
In the second half of the night we host our 'Feature Short', one film no longer than 50 minutes. This is our headliner for the event. This film is awarded, ‘The Directors Choice Award’, one that our Judging panel felt deserves recognition.

Entries requirements:
-> All films must have been made in or after 2012 and have English subtitles (unless English is the main language spoken); A creation date does not apply in case of the screen writings from being stopped for submissions, but the submitted must be in English or have a copy translated in English;
-> We accept shorts, documentaries, animations, experimental, music videos, web and new media, commercials (all specified previously under 45 minutes); feature films and feature documentaries (any length, 45 + minutes);
->A description between 50 and 150 words;
->Trailer (not required for movies under 7 minutes; optional) and the film must be submitted as an on-line screener (Vimeo preferred) which may be embedded on the website for visitors to see your creation; you can further opt for modifications in your entry;

Each three months our jury determines the best films in each category. Note that we do NOT screen films online or onsite. The films are screened privately by the jury. La Associació Crear per la Identitat i la Memòria (ACIM) organiza la V Muestra de Cortometrajes por la Identidad y convoca a los autores a enviar sus obras. La Muestra tendrá lugar en Barcelona el 30 de noviembre y el 1 y 2 de diciembre de 2016, y reunirá cortometrajes que aborden el tema del robo de la identidad, su reconocimiento y recuperación, y las consecuencias personales y sociales. ACIM promueve actividades de denuncia del robo de identidad, especialmente la de ninos y está en estrecho contacto con la Asociación Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo. El secuestro de niños y cambio de identidad fue una práctica sistemática durante la última dictadura militar argentina así como durante la dictadura franquista y otros gobiernos de facto. ACIM considera fundamental luchar por la restitución de la identidad, que es un derecho inalienable. La Muestra tiene el objetivo de promover a través del cine un espacio que analice y debata el tema del robo de la identidad en todas sus dimensiones culturales, psicológicas, sociales y biológicas.
FICAMS, Antarctica’s International Film Festival about Environment and Sustainability is a competitive festival that gives and teaches community members, through films, diverse views related to our habitat and culture. General themes of the audio-visual pieces are base on the environment, nature, sustainability, climate change, recycling, and renewable energy sources.
