-A festival that is run as a web-based competition, instead of a traditional film festival: 100% of our effort and investment goes into finding a market for you, not into renting theatres unless it is dictated by the distributors to further test the market.
-All "Best Of Show" and "Award Of Outstanding Excellence" may have their trailers shown on WRPN.TV entertainment news next to Hollywood celebrity interviews (optional)
-Any film that is rejected will receive a personal letter explaining what elements caused the rejection (unlike other fests who never give any explanation at all). HINT: majority of rejections or low award levels, are due to insufficient volume on dialogue soundtracks.
-Any film that is accepted, but fails to move on to award status, will be given a free synopsis of the judges notes, at the filmmakers request, for free

-Finally, you can rest assured that our co-founder is a proud Committee Member for the Universal Film & Festival Organization (UFFO.ORG). The UFFO is a non-profit operating out of the U.K., which exists for "Promoting best business practices for film festivals.” This guarantees that your film will benefit from a fair and thorough judging process.
The Festival will take place within the 5th edition of TESAPE, an event for the national cinema industry, to be held from 21 to 24 September 2016 in the Centro Paraguayo Japonés in Asuncion city, Paraguay. The Festival is aimed at young people learning a career, course or audiovisual workshop, and for those filmmakers who want to participate with their first productions. In addition to the official competition that brings together national and regional short films, the Festival will develop an instance Open Screen, for those films that have not been selected.
Singapore Film Festival (SFF) was established to showcase some of the best award-winning independent feature length and short films from all over the world. SFF will be held consecutively in Singapore in 29-30 October 2016.
One of our major missions is to create a platform for filmmakers to be seen, but more importantly, to help them gain industry exposure and help sustain their film entry in to the Singapore film market.
We are currently accepting and curating entries for the festival, where the confirmed lineup will be announced in late September 2016.
The Festival also annually welcomes a large number of guests, with many filmmakers, actors, distributors and industry professionals attending and experiencing the Singapore Film Festival.

The Lake Champlain International Film Festival (LCIFF) turns the spotlight on new films and filmmakers working in any and all genres and forms of film. Good, old-fashioned entertainment and cutting-edge artistry will be showcased in equal measure. Set in Plattsburgh, nestled in the heart of the Adirondacks, LCIFF takes place in November along the banks of Lake Champlain.
The screenings will take place at the Strand Theatre, a landmark of cultural and historical importance. Located in the heart of downtown Plattsburgh, the Strand was originally built as a Vaudeville Theatre in 1924 and is currently on the National Registry of Historic Places. BUDAFEST is a Budapest film festival dedicated to the glocal culture. 2016 is the first edition. It will be the feast of the brotherwood of two people and of two movie worlds: the Italian and the Hungarian.
We will connect the world with Budapest and Budapest with the world: we have the Magyar section and the international one. We have also a special section dedicated to very fast movies, maximum 3 minutes. Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
The 16th National Guaíba Student Film Festival (Cinestudantil Guaíba) will take place November 6-14, 2017, in the city of Guaíba, Rio Grande do Sul State. The event aims to encourage audiovisual production as a pedagogical activity linked to the curriculum School.

SURKO is a micro documentary and short film festival about rural permaculture, which this year adds the animation category to its 2016-2017 call for participants; SURKO has an itinerant nature and thus it will be presented in different countries, comprised by Chile, Mexico, Colombia and Brazil in its 2016-2017 tour.
The festival lasts between 2 or 3 days in each location, according to schedule or as invitations come. Each presentation will count with the showcase of the participating works, considering duration and topics adapt to the features of each festival.
Parallel to each SUR-KO program, different activities will be carried on, such as: Open Space on innovation, local development, creative industries and/or economic development of the Iberoamerica, symposia, workshops and more; if you are desirous to join the team, just ask us how.
