Aos cineastas audiovisuais indígenas e não indígenas, de várias nacionalidades e territórios, que enviem seus trabalhos sobre temas indígenas e/ou afrodescendentes, estilo livre e extensão, de criação individual ou coletiva, para a 8ª edição do Festival FicWallMapu, a ser realizado entre 14 e 18 de novembro de 2023, na cidade de Temuko, Ngülumapu e comunas vizinhas do território mapuche, Araucanía Região.
O festival pretende promover o cinema independente nacional e internacional.
Por oito anos, nosso festival se tornou o ponto de referência para diretores independentes de todo o mundo.

Desde 2015, ano de sua fundação, o festival se destaca pela qualidade e valor social das obras selecionadas.
Em dez edições, selecionamos e exibimos 221 obras de 70 países e premiamos 250!
Ao promover o cinema independente de todo o mundo, recebemos trabalhos estrelados por atores mundialmente famosos, como Salvatore Esposito (Gomorra, Fargo), Denis Lavant (Holy Motors, Tóquio!).
Na edição de 2021 tivemos a honra de premiar o ator Giuseppe Fiorello em seu último filme “L'afide e la formica”, vencedor do prêmio de melhor longa-metragem.
Ao longo dos anos, nos orgulhamos de ter promovido com sucesso dezenas de documentários independentes, que foram uma verdadeira janela para o mundo para nós.
Tentamos nos aprimorar a cada ano, dando a vocês, diretores, a oportunidade de receber um reconhecimento importante por seu trabalho e pelas histórias que desejam contar.
O Los Angeles CineFest é um evento internacional. Aceitamos filmes e roteiros locais, nacionais e internacionais. Especialistas da indústria cinematográfica assistem filmes e vídeos, leem roteiros, dão notas e partituras.

One of the greatest festival in the world to help filmmakers find a market to support their aims with people attending that can give good solid advice to work with established film industry professionals if you wish, screening, meetings, networking, world famous international awards ceremony, we have created over the years a unique festival with our other festivals a real platform for filmmakers to meet, network, do business festival week.
We have built a small but exceptional professional network of industry professional that will look at all films and will give business and commercial advice, in some cases the distributors attending will make offers to the filmmakers for their work and to work together to put your movies in the market place, we have the people and skills in our professional team to make this happen, if the professional attending feel there is a market for your movie, they will as with many films over the years of our other festival make it happen.
We are unique in the amount of platforms and festival we offer filmmakers, we can create a ripple for your movie to be seen around the world, it all starts here by entering your movie.

Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

Desde 2009, o Puerto Rico Queer Filmfest é o primeiro e maior festival temático LGBTQ (lésbicas, gays, bissexuais, transgêneros, queer) na região do Caribe. The Tioga Film Festival will be held at the Tioga Movie Theater August 5th, 2017 in Tioga, North Dakota. Deadline submission is July 25th, 2017. All filmmakers from the USA are eligible to participate and there are no limits to submissions. Each submission is required a submission form and fee.
The Film Festival is part of a weekend event in Tioga. Which includes sidewalk sales, A drone camp and more. Selected and winning films will be shown at the Tioga Movie Theater from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm. Winners will be announced and notified no later than August 1st, 2017. Films will be FREE to view throughout the day. A schedule will available on this page as well as our facebook pages.

Jiffy Louvre II: Deixe a preocupação para trás (novamente)
Após um hiato de dois anos, o Short Shorts Festival na Whitespace Gallery em Atlanta GA retorna para sua sétima iteração e o segundo julgado pelo artista de Atlanta e diretor da Welch School of Art & Design Joe Peragine. O título, originalmente usado em Short Shorts 2019, é um mash-up de alta (o Louvre, o museu dos museus) e baixo (Jiffy Lube, fornecedores do trabalho de lubrificante drive- through cujo slogan é “deixar preocupação para trás”). O título encapsula o amplo objetivo estético deste festival. Qualquer orçamento, qualquer gênero, qualquer história é bem-vinda, desde que nos dê uma breve pausa desses momentos estragados em que vivemos. Estamos abertos a trabalhos fora do ritmo, não narrativo e experimental.
O festival de curtas curtas terá uma exibição ao vivo ao ar livre na Whitespace Gallery, em Atlanta, no sábado, 17 de setembro de 2022. O espaço em branco é uma das principais galerias de arte contemporânea em Atlanta e em todo o sudeste, promovendo um ambiente imersivo de livre expressão, intimidade e diálogo. Haverá também uma segunda exibição ao vivo ao ar livre no campus da Georgia State University na quinta-feira, 22 de setembro de 2022.
As pinturas, esculturas e animações de Joe Peragines foram apresentadas em galerias, espaços de arte contemporânea e museus em todos os EUA e internacionalmente. Nascido em Jersey City, Nova Jersey, Peragine vive com sua família em Atlanta e atualmente é diretor da Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design da Georgia State University.
