O Festival Internacional de Cinema Infantil e Juvenil OJO DE PESCADO é um evento anual no Chile que reúne os conteúdos cinematográficos e televisivos mais recentes e exclusivos de todo o mundo voltados para crianças e jovens.
O Festival é organizado pela CORPORAÇÃO CULTURAL OJO DE PESCADO, uma plataforma de exploração e ação que, por meio da exibição de filmes e da promoção da criação audiovisual, visa ajudar a garantir o direito de crianças e jovens à educação integral, comunicação e expressão de suas opiniões.
A 11ª edição do Festival de Cinema Ojo de Pescado acontecerá on-line em todo o território chileno e presencialmente somente na Região de Valparaíso (se a situação de saúde permitir) entre 5 de novembro e 15 de novembro de 2024,
As categorias de competição são:
- Curtas-metragens para crianças.
- Séries de televisão ou web para crianças.
- Longas-metragens para crianças e adolescentes.
- “Jovens cineastas” (curtas-metragens feitos por crianças ou jovens).

O Experimental Forum é um festival internacional de cinema e videoarte que apresenta filmes experimentais e imagens em movimento de artistas de cineastas autorais e videoartistas inovadores de todo o mundo. Nosso objetivo é fornecer uma plataforma de apoio para o trabalho empolgante e desafiador que está fora do escopo dos principais festivais de cinema e galerias de arte.
Aceitamos peças de cinema experimental (abstrata, narrativa ou documental), obras de videoarte, filmes de ensaio, imagens em movimento e arte midiática de artistas, bem como filmes documentais e narrativos que buscam expandir, redefinir ou reconfigurar os meios e fins de seus respectivos campos. O Experimental Forum existe para fornecer acesso e desenvolver o público para o trabalho de artistas com imagens em movimento e está comprometido em envolver o público local com vozes novas e/ou inéditas no cinema.
Estamos particularmente interessados em trabalhos feitos por cineastas e artistas em estágio inicial, cujo trabalho está sub-representado. Fornecemos uma plataforma colaborativa para trabalhos de imagens em movimento feitos para a galeria e para o cinema com o objetivo de construir uma comunidade entre falhas disciplinares e institucionais.
Near Nazareth Festival ( NNF ) invites all film lovers to partake in our celebration.
Near Nazareth Festival hospitably opens its doors to filmmakers. Festival participants from around the world will show their works. We believe that the best place for them to present their work - is Near Nazareth Festival.
More than 6000 participants from 70 countries of 5 continents presented their films and works at the Festival in Israel since 2015.
The works are evaluated by an international jury. Many participants became prize-winners and winners in their nominations.
A festival diploma increases the prestige of the piece.

O 8º Festival de Curtas-Metragens da “Côte Bleue” (FCMCB) é um festival para jovens realizadores de cinema até 30 anos de idade. Estamos empenhados em mostrar as obras de cineastas emergentes e ajudá-los a distribuir e promover seus shorts. A competição está aberta a jovens de todo o mundo.
The Mediterranean Film Festival in Široki Brijeg is characteristic for a unique atmosphere – a mixture of relaxed fun, tourism, rhythm and films. Hence the Festival quickly became the favourite of film workers and audience. Those who once feel the scent of the Mediterranean in this little town of film, shall always return to it. In front of the hall where the projections are going on there is always an interesting atmosphere, and after the projections there is always fun and dancing to the rhythms of urban music till late hours. The Festival is the initiator of the new relations within the world of culture, there is no elitism in it, no VIP boxes, no privileges. Within the last ten years we have succeeded to create an atmosphere in which no one feels alienated, inferior or less invited to be a part of the event.
MFF is the oldest festival of documentary film in the region considering that only documentary films compete here and the largest part of the program is based on documentaries. This is one of the rare festivals that has money prizes for the winners of the festival and in that way helps them to create new film projects. The School of Film Culture with relevant lecturers is being organized within the very MFF. A short documentary film is created every year at the MFF workshop, which we screen at the closure of the festival.
Besides the film projections there are also other programs offered at MFF. First of all the touristic ones, where a new branch, unknown untill now in Hercegovina, is developed – the cultural tourism. Within the tourism part there are the tours visiting the most interesting sites in Hercegovina which might be used as the locations for films shooting. Visits to the most significant touristic potentials of Hercegovina (Međugorje and Mostar) are also organized. We meet the guests of the festival to the exceptional archaeological localities and introduce them with the potentials of ethno tourism. In cooperation with the Tourist Board we get our guests acquainted with the Hercegovinian gastronomy – an extraordinary cuisine that has preserved the ancient taste and has not subdued to the modern culinary novelties, and belongs to a very healthy nutrition.
Mediterranean Film Festival lasts for six days, and all our guests, never mind from which part of the Mediterranean they might come, shall wish to come back again here.
The Guadalajara Social Commitment Film Festival (FESCIGU) is celebrating its 24th edition this year, at its venue in Azuqueca de Henares, where it is currently based in exile. Over the years, we have sought to bring our audience the very best of the short film world, with social, thought-provoking, or simply humanistic content. All genres are welcome, provided they do not promote violence. FESCIGU is a qualifying festival for the Goya Awards. This year, in addition, the central theme is ADDICTIONS, so short films dealing with this subject will be especially welcome.
