Since its 1st edition in Barcelos in 2008, the ART&TUR Festival has effectively fulfilled its mission of making known to the world the best audiovisual productions in Portugal and in the world.
As a forum for sharing experiences, the ART&TUR Festival has achieved a high international recognition, thanks to the quality and quantity of films that it distinguishes annually, as well as its integration into a worldwide network of similar festivals: CIFFT (International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals) that annually elects the best tourism film worldwide, among all the films that travel the international circuit of 16 festivals.
From 2018, ART&TUR Film Festival rights were transferred from APTUR to Centro de Portugal Film Commission (CPFC). Associated to this change, and thanks to an agreement between the CPFC and the Regional Tourism Entity of Center of Portugal, the ART&TUR Festival will now be held in the Central Region, roaming through the various municipalities of the Center of Portugal.

11° Kolkata Shorts International Film Festival-22 è un insieme di creatività cinematografica e follia di cine-frequentatori della bellissima città di Calcutta. La città di Kolkata è il fulcro del cinema bengalese, una ricca cultura e meta di molti registi in erba dal secolo scorso. L'obiettivo del festival è quello di dare slancio al cortometraggio e promuovere la crescita di una nuova razza di registi.
L'umile viaggio di KSIFF è iniziato nel 2012 per celebrare i 100 anni di celebrazione del cinema indiano e per salutare il contributo dell'industria cinematografica bengalese allo sviluppo del cinema in India. Le edizioni del festival dal 2012 al 2021 hanno avuto un enorme successo con la partecipazione di tutta l'India e le nazioni straniere e sono il festival trendsetter in India e ora molto richiesto dai giovani registi.
Il festival fornisce una piattaforma a registi aspiranti e professionisti per mostrare i loro talenti con opportunità di networking e marketing nell'industria cinematografica. Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

The Hudson Valley International Film Festival is a lifestyle that celebrates an interactive and contemporary experience, which will inspire, challenge, and enlighten viewers and participants alike. HVIFF is a contemporary festival, showcasing only current productions. All submissions must have completed filming after January 1st, 2015.
According to Fodor's Travel, The Hudson Valley is listed on the 25 places around the world to visit in 2015. With a rich historical background and breathtaking views, it's no wonder why Fodor's gave the nod to The Hudson Valley, located just north of New York City.
The newly renovated Monroe Arts & Civic Center, home of The Hudson Valley International Film Festival, is equipped with stadium style seating with three screens capable of displaying films, two theaters dedicated to filmmaker Q&A sessions and seminars, and an additional theater that will be utilized for events such as slam poetry and music.
Filmmakers are welcome to submit shorts, pilots, features, music videos, animation, one minute (and under) videos, and much more! The red carpet event will be sure to give a Hollywood feel to all participants.

Discovery Film Festival è giunto al suo diciannovesimo anno. Con sede a Dundee Contemporary Arts e in tour in luoghi partner in Scozia, Regno Unito e Irlanda, il festival proietta film provenienti da tutto il mondo appositamente programmati per il pubblico giovane.
Il festival include tre emozionanti weekend di film, attività creative ed eventi di gala, oltre a due settimane di proiezioni ed eventi per le scuole.
Discovery mira a sviluppare un nuovo pubblico per il meglio del cinema internazionale, migliorare l'alfabetizzazione mediatica e offrire ai giovani spettatori una visione della vita dei bambini e dei giovani in altre culture. Il festival è attivo dal 2004 quando è stato avviato come partnership con Dundee Education Development Department, Scottish Screen e DCA.
Discovery Film Festival è un progetto DCA ed è organizzato da Mike Tait, Festival Producer e Cinema Youth Development Officer. Un team di Young Ambassadors (15-19 anni) collabora con Mike per programmare film e consigliare il design generale del festival. Un team di insegnanti e consulenti per l'istruzione consiglia il programma educativo e crea risorse pertinenti per il Curriculum for Excellence per le lezioni che visitano il festival.

Il Sicilymovie – Festival del cinema di Agrigento è un festival di lungometraggi, cortometraggi, documentari, videoclip, spot e corti di animazione, creato ed organizzato dall’Associazione Southmovie, che nasce con l’intento di portare il cinema all’aperto per tutti nel cuore della Sicilia: la suggestiva Valle dei Templi di Agrigento, città nominata Capitale della cultura 2025. Le tematiche affrontate nelle opere dei registi di tutto il mondo sono molteplici ed educative.
La nona edizione del Sicilymovie è rivolta alle migliori produzioni e distribuzioni di cortometraggi e documentari al mondo che si contenderanno la Demetra d’oro, la statuetta rappresentativa del Festival che rievoca l’antica Grecia, simbolo culturale dell’antica Akragas, la città di Agrigento.
Il progetto è sostenuto e patrocinato dal Parco Archeologico e Paesaggistico Valle dei Templi di Agrigento, dal Comune di Agrigento, dalla Sicilia Film Commission, dalla Valle dei Templi Film Commission e dall’Assessorato al Turismo della Regione Sicilia. Il Parco Archeologico e paesaggistico Valle dei Templi è ampio circa 1300 ettari e qui appartengono i resti dell’antica città di Akragas e il territorio circostante sino al mare. La Valle dei Templi è stata dichiarata nel 1997 dall’Unesco “Patrimonio Mondiale dell’Umanità”. Oggi la Valle dei Templi conta più di un milione di visitatori l’anno.

Espacio Queer is established as a cultural space guided by the queer theory. It’s a place for debate, reflection and artistic expresion to developes open activities about sexual diversity and gender.
Our search focuses on finding and promoting artistic works that expose a queer point of view which doesn’t establish stereotypes but opens for analysis and reflection. A view where to be a lesbian, bisexual, gay, transexual or intersexual is not a pose, fashion or, still less, a label, but an identity built up constantly wihout static or normaive parameters.
Located in La Plata city, this festival includes proyections of feature-films and short-films, official copetetion and showcase sections, debates, workshops, visual arts exhibitions and live music. In its 3rd edition, Espacio Queer will take place on November of this year.
