L'European Fantastic Film Festival di Murcia SOMBRA è un progetto che mira a diffondere e fungere da riferimento ai film fantasy prodotti in Europa, oltre a sostenere la produzione europea, nazionale e regionale di genere.
Il Sofia MENAR Film Festival fa conoscere al pubblico bulgaro la cultura e le tradizioni del mondo islamico.
Il programma del Sofia MENAR Film Festival presenta il meglio delle produzioni cinematografiche del Medio Oriente, dell'Asia centrale e del Nord Africa, tra cui lungometraggi, documentari e cortometraggi. Nell'ambito del festival vengono organizzati molti eventi di accompagnamento. Questi eventi sono particolarmente selezionati e legati ai paesi di questa regione e rappresentano le tradizioni e i costumi dei gruppi etnici che abitano le sue terre.
Il festival si svolge ogni anno a gennaio. MENAR è organizzato da «Pozor» come il più grande evento culturale dei Balcani, unico nel suo genere, che rappresenta il mondo musulmano e le sue tradizioni.
Con le sue diciotto edizioni dal 2009 al 2026, il festival ha presentato più di 1200 titoli al pubblico bulgaro, produzioni cinematografiche girate in Asia e Africa.
Il termine MENAR, che significa «Regione del Medio Oriente e del Nord Africa», è un acronimo spesso usato per indicare una vasta area, che si estende dal Marocco all'Iran, compresa la maggior parte dei paesi del Medio Oriente e del Maghreb.
Menár /, pronunciato anche manár/ in lingua araba, significa faro, torre faro, luce guida. È derivato dalla parola araba nur /unciare luce. È entrato in uso nella lingua bulgara, attraverso la lingua turca ottomana, tramite la parola minare, che significa la torre, che illumina il sentiero.

The 9th Annual Back in the Box Competition (BIB), offers some of the lowest submission fees with some of the highest acceptance rates on the festival circuit.
Because BIB is a competition and a film festival, we are able to review many more submissions to give more artists a greater chance to showcase their work.
BIB provides an exciting platform for ambitious filmmakers and screenwriters to showcase their skills in direct competition with other creative artists.
Featuring a diverse array of competitive categories (including Best Feature Screenplay, Best Short Screenplay, Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, and Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director and many others), BIB works to shatter the boundaries placed not only between genres but also between undiscovered talents and eager audiences. We are looking for the Best of the Best in the field of entertainment. And we are hoping you are prepared the meet the competition head on.
A slew of prizes are available through participation in BIB. Several of prior year's winning screenplays have already moved into production, and some films had secured distribution. There's no telling what sort of remarkable stories or careers this year's competition will unleash.
This is a film and screenplay competition. All preliminary judging is done by a panel of industry professionals and is open to the public to participate, but the film finalists will be screened in beautiful Santa Monica California and final judging will be made with voting by the attending audience.

The finalists in the Film competition will be screened in the Ocean Screening Room in beautiful Santa Monica, California the premier digital cinema in Santa Monica. What better way to start your Christmas vacation than to see a film on the coast of sunny California. Here, you will experience a breathtaking vista of the Pacific Ocean from the theater entrance. Chosen by Universal, Disney, Paramount and Sony as the Santa Monica Academy Awards screening venue, Ocean Screening also screens for Grammy Awards as well as Sundance.

This is an exclusive event for participants who are serious about moving forward with projects and will be an informal mix between actors, producers and directors. The people who hold the exclusive “Screening” tickets will be the final set of judges for the films that have progressed to the final round. They will decide which lucky filmmakers will take home the prizes in each category.
Discussion topics include how actors can make contact to directors and producers of indie films when they’re available and ready to work. Directors attending will include filmmakers who have active projects they want to move forward with. Producers attending will include representatives who are actively searching for key projects to invest in. Representatives from Fernleif Productions will also be in attendance looking for projects to expand their portfolio including films and talent for not only short films investment, but for additional talent for creating content for electronic games and applications. Stonefair International Film Festival is an online and live film festival, headquartered in Piatra-Neamt, Romania. Stonefair IFF is committed to supporting access to film in all of Piatra-Neamt community as well as supporting young film makers in their education.
The festival runs in 3 quarters, selections and screenings being made every 4 months, the third edition is due to take place on the 8th of May, 2017.
There will be 16 categories and Best Film will receive the Stonefair IFF Trophy, the winning films will be screened at the "G. T. Kirileanu" Public Library.

I corti sono proiettati in Italiano o in lingua originale con sottotitoli in Italiano o Inglese davanti ad un pubblico che va dai 3 ai 99 anni.
Il Videofestival Imperia, organizzato da Officine Digitali è aperto a professionisti e amatori. La registrazione è gratuita. Il Festival è giunto alla sua 15° edizione e si svolgerà ad Imperia dal 05 maggio al 09 maggio 2020. Il termine ultimo per le iscrizioni è il 2 dicembre 2019. 2118 autori provenienti da 100 nazioni hanno partecipato all'edizione 2019. 88 film sono stati proiettati.

Il Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Skepto ha carattere competitivo ed è aperto a cortometraggi senza limiti per quanto riguarda il soggetto, lo stile o il budget di produzione. The Student Film Prize Serge Daney is a competition for short films by students of any films studies organism (public or private). The competitors have to speak French to be able to take advantage of the main Prize.
There is no theme, but the spirit of the Serge Daney Film Prize can be told through a Serge Daney quote : "a film must convey a point of view, a vision of the world, that give it it's sense, it's logic" (Serge Daney, "Perseverance").
The Vieques International Film Festival 2017 is designed to provide exposure to filmmakers of Puerto Rican, Hispanic, and Latino heritage. Euregion Shorts Film Festival offers you a three-days festival experience with the best films from all over the world (maximum duration: 20 minutes, every genre), an award show, workshops, seminars and more.
