SALÓN INTERNACIONAL DE LA LUZ®
El Salón Internacional de La Luz, Volumen XI, tendrá lugar en Bogotá D.C., Colombia, del 12 al 17 de mayo de 2020. Este año estará dedicado a establecer las relaciones entre la pintura y la luz, y su aporte a la creación fotográfica y cinematográfica.
El Salón Internacional de La Luz cumple 11 años dedicados a la imagen, a la creación con la luz y a la dirección de fotografía cinematográfica. Tendrá películas en competencia en las categorías de largometrajes ficción y documental, cortometraje ficción y documental, spot publicitario, video clip, experimental en cine, película preservada, realidad virtual y trabajo universitario entre otras categorías, donde se premiará exclusivamente el área de Dirección de Fotografía.
Se desarrollarán eventos teóricos sobre la luz, con invitados internacionales, conferencias técnicas y Show-rooms, con la muestra de la última tecnología en cámaras, películas, luces y soportes para la imagen en movimiento. Además, se realizará la muestra “125 años Luz”, con la proyección de algunas de las películas más importantes dentro de la historia de la dirección de fotografía cinematográfica.
PROGRAMA
El Salón Internacional de La Luz® comprende los siguientes apartados:
1-SECCIÓN OFICIAL EN COMPETENCIA
1.1. Pueden participar obras audiovisuales de cualquier nacionalidad, producidas con fecha posterior o igual a enero 01 de 2018.
1.2. Las categorías de la presente convocatoria son:
1.2.1. Largometraje Ficción (Duración mínima de 70 minutos).
1.2.2 Largometraje Documental. (Duración mínima 60 minutos).
1.2.3. Cortometraje Ficción ( Duración mínima de cinco minutos. Duración máxima 40 minutos).
1.2.4. Cortometraje Documental. ( Duración mínima de quince minutos. Duración máxima 40 minutos).
1.2.5. Video Clip.
1.2.6. Spot publicitario.
1.2.7. Obra experimental (Género libre y formato de captura exclusivamente: Cine súper 8mm, cine 16 mm, cine 35mm, cine Súper 35 mm y Cine 65mm, o mezcla de soportes, y con duración no superior a 30 minutos).
1.2.8. Película restaurada de cualquier época (Género y duración libre).
1.2.9. Trabajo de escuela o Universidad de cine, medios audiovisuales o afines (en los géneros de ficción y documental con una duración no inferior a 1 minuto, ni superior a 50 minutos).
1.2.10. Serie o película para televisión (realizadas exclusivamente para canales de televisión u otras pantallas diferentes a las salas de cine), de cualquier temática y duración.
1.2.11. Obras de VR (Virtual reality-Realidad virtual) de cualquier temática y duración.
1.3. Se premiará exclusivamente el área de dirección de fotografía.
1-4- Todas las obras para su selección, deben presentarse con subtítulos en español exclusivamente, si este no es su idioma original.
1.5. La inscripción de las obras (película, spot publicitario, video clip, experimental o trabajo de escuela de cine) deberá realizarse a través del sitio web del Salón, www.saloninternacionaldelaluz.com, enviar enlace para preselección a salondelaluz@gmail.com o en las plataformas habilitadas (www.festhome.com), hasta del 21 de marzo de 2020.
1.6. Los interesados deben llenar el formulario de inscripción que aparece en el sitio web del Salón Internacional de La Luz®, con toda la información requerida, incluida la ficha bio-filmográfica del participante.
No se aceptarán solicitudes de inscripción incompletas y sin firma. Este formulario se debe enviar antes de la fecha de cierre al correo electrónico: salondelaluz@gmail.com
1.6. La inscripción de una obra se acompañará además, de materiales de prensa y publicidad tales como: stills, press kits y tráileres. La copia de selección contendrá exclusivamente la grabación de la obra inscrita. Se recomienda que el remitente verifique la correcta reproducción de la copia de selección antes de enviarla al Salón. La imposibilidad de visualizar el contenido de una copia de selección, o que esté defectuosa, invalida automáticamente la inscripción de la obra en el SalónInternacional de La Luz®. Las copias de selección no serán devueltas, y pasarán formar parte del archivo del Salón Internacional de La Luz®
Las películas en idiomas diferentes al español, deberán tener obligatoriamente subtítulos en español, de no ser así, no se tendrán en cuenta para la selección final.
1.7. El jurado en cada categoría estará compuesto por reconocidos profesionales del sector cinematográfico, y sus nombres se darán a conocer el día de la inauguración del Salón Internacional de La Luz®.
1.8. Las características de los premios para cada categoría se informarán durante el transcurso del Salón Internacional de La Luz®.
ENVÍO DE COPIAS DE EXHIBICIÓN
1. Las copias para exhibición de las obras seleccionadas por el Salón Internacional de La Luz® , deberán enviarse antes del 15 de abril de 2020.
2. El Salón Internacional de La Luz®, sólo podrá exhibir las obras que participen en la Sección Oficial en alguno de los siguientes formatos:
• Cine 35 mm y 16 mm, DCP, Archivo de Datos, BluRay, LTO 6 o 7.
3. Los costos de envío de las copias desde el lugar de expedición corren por cuenta de quien inscribe la obra.
4. Por disposición de las autoridades de aduana, los materiales inscritos entrarán en el país bajo el régimen de importación temporal.
5. El seguro contratado por el Salón Internacional de La Luz®, cubre los riesgos de incendio, pérdida, robo, daño y destrucción de la copia para el período comprendido entre la llegada al Salón y su retorno a la dirección indicada por quien haya inscrito la copia.
6. En caso de pérdida o deterioro imputable, la indemnización por parte del Salón Internacional de La Luz®, se limitará al costo real de la reproducción de la copia. El plazo máximo para efectuar cualquier reclamación será de dos (2) meses a partir de la fecha de devolución.
DISPOSICIONES FINALES
1. El Salón Internacional de La Luz®, se reserva el derecho de seleccionar las obras que participan en la Sección Oficial y de establecer el orden y la fecha de exhibición de cada película. Una vez que la aceptación de una obra haya sido comunicada por el Comité de Selección al autor, productor u otra parte interesada que la haya inscrito, y esta haya manifestado su conformidad al respecto, dicha obra no podrá ser retirada antes de su proyección en el certamen.

Durante el Salón Internacional de La Luz se llevarán a cabo una serie de conferencias en torno a la imagen y a la dirección de fotografía, con la participación de reconocidos invitados nacionales e internacionales. Esta sección estará abierta al público general pero se requiere previa inscripción por correo electrónico en : salondelaluz@gmail.com
3- WORKSHOPS Y SHOWROOMS - SECTOR INDUSTRIA
El SIL®, ofrece un programa de actividades destinado a los profesionales de la dirección de fotografía, la post producción y todo lo relacionado con la creación de la imagen. Esta sección estará abierta al público general pero requiere previa inscripción por correo electrónico en : salondelaluz@gmail.com
4- HOMENAJES
Se desarrollarán eventos teóricos sobre la luz, con invitados internacionales, conferencias técnicas y Show-rooms, con la muestra de la última tecnología en cámaras, películas, luces y soportes para la imagen en movimiento. Además, se realizará la muestra “125 años Luz”, con la proyección de algunas de las películas más importantes dentro de la historia de la dirección de fotografía cinematográfica. Adicionalmente se dedicará esta edición, a explorar la relación entre la luz y la pintura y su influencia en la fotografía y cinematografía.
5- LABORATORIO DE LA LUZ® Continuamos con el proceso de formación permanente, con seminarios y talleres especializados en la creación con La Luz. Informes en: laboratoriodelaluz@saloninternacionaldelaluz.com

All submission are evaluated on each technical category: Script, Cinematography, Sound, Acting and Direction.

Construir Cine ist das einzige internationale Labor Film Festival in Argentinien. Die nächste Ausgabe findet im Mai 2024 in Buenos Aires im Hybridmodus (persönlich und online) statt.

Construir Cine ist eine Veranstaltung, die vom Fernsehsender UOCRA Foundation for the Education of Construction Workers — im Folgenden der Veranstalter genannt — mit Unterstützung des National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) und seiner On-Demand-Plattform CINE.AR organisiert und von UOCRA CULTURA und Construyendo Arte gesponsert wird. Dieses Festival ist Teil des Global Labor Film Festival, einer Organisation, die Arbeitsfilmfestivals aus der ganzen Welt zusammenbringt, und gehört zu „RAFMA“: Argentine Network of Audiovisual Festivals and Exhibitions.

Mai 2024 ein fünftägiges Dokumentarfilmfestival mit mehr als 30 lokalen und internationalen Filmen zu den Themen Aktion für Frieden, Sicherheit und Versöhnung, Gleichstellung der Geschlechter und Inklusivität, Ernährungs- und Umweltsicherheit sowie Gesundheitswesen, das in der Alliance Ethio-Française, dem Hager Fikir Theater, dem Goethe-Institut Äthiopien und dem italienischen Kulturinstitut in Addis Abeba.
Das Publikum des Festivals besteht hauptsächlich aus Jugendlichen und gebildeten Menschen, die den Mut haben, ihre Gesellschaft zu verändern. Wir zeigen die Filme kostenlos, ohne dass für den Eintritt eine Zahlung erforderlich ist.
Das Social Film Festival ArteSIA wird vom gemeinnützigen Kulturverein „Libero Teatro“ organisiert.

12. Dada Saheb Phalke Filmfestival-22, Delhi NCR, Indien
Feiern von Exzellenz im Kino
Das Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival ist ein gemeinnütziges, nicht-kommerzielles und indisches einziges unabhängiges Filmfestival, das im Jahr 2011 in Delhi NCR gegründet wurde, um das Kino und die Arbeit aufstrebender, junger, unabhängiger und professioneller Filmemacher zu feiern. Das Festival ist wichtig für die indische Filmindustrie, da es jedes Jahr am 30. April anlässlich des Geburtstages von Late.Shri organisiert wird. Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, der als Vater des indischen Kinos gilt und von der Filmbrüderschaft in ganz Indien & Globus liebevoll als Dada Saheb Phalke erinnert wird. Ziel ist es, das aufschlussreiche, unterhaltsame und fortschrittliche New Age Kino von Jugendlichen und erfahrenen Filmemachern anzuerkennen.
In den vergangenen Jahren gewinnt das Festival einen Ruf und gilt als eines der renommiertesten Festivals in Indien. Das Festival wächst im Laufe der Jahre und zieht Filmemacher aus ganz Indien und über 90 Nationen auf der ganzen Welt an. Das Festival hat Abschnitte für Spielfilme, Kurzfilme, Dokumentarfilme, Animationen, Musikvideos und Werbefilme. Das 12. Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival-2022 zielt darauf ab, die Exzellenz im Kino zu feiern. Dada Saheb Phalke begann die Bewegung des Kinos in Indien im wirklichen Sinne und er ist das Symbol der Exzellenz. Sein Beitrag zum indischen Kino ist unparallel. Heute berührt das indische Kino sowohl in Bezug auf Inhalt als auch Technologie den Himmel, aber es ist erwähnenswert, dass es von der legendry Dada Saheb Phalke gestartet wurde und wir es nur weiterführen.
Das von der Educationexpo TV gegründete Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival-22 bietet Filmemachern die Möglichkeit, ihre Kreativität zu präsentieren. Während das Festival Filmemachern jeden Alters offen steht, sind wir der Meinung, dass es genauso wichtig ist, dass wir die Teilnahme von Mitgliedern und Profis des Filmemachens unterstützen und fördern sollten, auch wichtig ist, dass wir die zukünftigen Mitglieder der Unterhaltungsindustrie finden und pflegen.
Das People's Film Festival, eine dynamische dreitägige Veranstaltung, die die Stimme des Volkes durch die Kraft von Film, Kunst und Technologie feiert. Unser Festival findet vom 29. Mai 2025 bis 31. Mai 2025 in Harlem, NY, statt und zeigt Filme aus der ganzen Welt.
TPFF basiert auf dem Glauben an Meinungsfreiheit und Medienzugang für alle und wurde 2012 mit dem Ziel gegründet, unabhängigen Filmemachern, Produzenten und Kreativen eine Plattform zu bieten, auf der sie ihre Werke an Orten präsentieren können, die sie auf die nächste Ebene heben können. In den letzten 13 Jahren wurde TPFF als „The Voice of The People“ bekannt, eine außergewöhnliche Plattform, auf der Filmemacher ihre Geschichten auf ihre Weise erzählen und einen echten Einfluss auf ihr Publikum haben können.
Unsere Mission ist es, nicht nur zukünftige Kreative und Innovatoren zu inspirieren, sondern auch Zuschauer jeden Alters mit neuen Tools und Technologien für das Geschichtenerzählen vertraut zu machen. TPFF hat einige bemerkenswerte Erfolgsgeschichten vorzuweisen. Viele Filme, die auf unserem Festival gezeigt wurden, wurden schließlich in anderen renommierten Medien und Veranstaltungsorten wie HBO, Netflix, FOST, PBS — Public Broadcasting Service, Revolt TV und der Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Library & Archives gezeigt.
Unser Festival findet in Harlem, NY, statt, einer blühenden und lebendigen Gemeinde mit reicher Kulturgeschichte. Es ist eine ultimative Synergie aus großartiger Musik, Literatur, Kunst und Unterhaltung, auch bekannt als The Harlem Renaissance. Filmemacher und Filmbesucher kommen jedes Jahr zusammen, um aktiv Informationen auszutauschen, Brot zu brechen und Beziehungen aufzubauen.

4th INTERNATIONAL CHANGING PERSPECTIVES SHORT FILM FESTIVAL REGULATIONS
ABOUT FESTIVAL
Initiated by Katadrom Arts and Culture and Social Politics Association based in Istanbul- ‘The 4th International Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival’ will be held between the dates of 6th - 8th of May 2016 in Istanbul, to then continue its yearly tour across other cities: Berlin, Yogyakarta, and other cities around the world.
The Festival will screen about 100 short features, short documentaries, short animations etc. of young filmmakers, students and teams who express different perspectives, concepts and imaginations about border.

The topic of 2016 - “Border”
This year, the main topic of the festival will be “Border”. There will be a festival section about 15 films, a photography exhibition and a panel discussion focusing on the main topic.
There are so many different borders: physical borders, geographical borders, social borders, mental borders, political borders, sexual borders, religious borders, imaginary borders – to name just a few.
To be born or to live on one side or the other of a border is often random.
However, it’s not so easy to let go of the constrictions borders create, as our identities are often shaped upon a deep conviction of belonging to one, unique place, country, religion or gender. During the festival we want to explore the different aspects of border providing a platform for all the diverse perspectives on the topic. Besides 2016 thematic-focused program, the festival will also screen films under its traditional sections: Exchange Experience, Cultural Insights, Ridicule, Umbrella.
FILM SUBMISSIONS
Short films which do not exceed 20 minutes – (documentaries less than 30 minutes), music videos, experimental films etc. – all with English subtitles – will be screened during the festival.
• Films should be no longer than 20 minutes
• Documentaries should be no longer than 30 minutes
• Films dealing with the topics mentioned above will be preferred.
• All films in a language other than English must have English subtitles.
• After official selection of a film the festival is qualified to use excerpts from the film, with a maximum of 1 minute for promotional purposes (The total duration of the excerpts is not to exceed more than 10% of the film running time).
• As Changing Perspectives Film Festival is a take-away Festival it should be accepted that films will be screened in different places apart from the festival

Statement of agreement
I hereby confirm that I have read all of the rules and regulations listed in the International Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival (icpsff) submission guidelines and the terms and conditions listed in the release form, before submitting my film work mentioned above, to the Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival 2016. I also confirm that I understand and agree to abide by all of the guidelines, rules and regulations posted by icpsff relating to the submission of my work to the Changing Perspectives Short Film Festival in general and in particular.
I understood and agreed that, if my film will be selected for the festival program as a take away film festival, icpsff can screen my film during the year in different cities and countries maximum 5 times at a festival selection from the program. Film makers will just be informed of other screenings by e-mail.
The Festival Committee is responsible for resolving all issues that are beyond the scope of Festival rules & regulations and disputes or disagreements that might occur.

The Vieques International Film Festival 2017 is designed to provide exposure to filmmakers of Puerto Rican, Hispanic, and Latino heritage. As a privately held public event created by the Brittany Dance, Film & Theatre Foundation (a Federal 501(c)3 non-profit bringing Arts education in dance, film, and theatre to the people of Vieques), all proceeds aside from the costs of running the Festival will go directly towards the operation of the Brittany and to continuing to bring more and more classes in the Arts to the local population. It is the hope that The Vieques International Film Festival will become an annual event and that it will help bring light to the possibility of the Arts world to those on the Island whom have not yet had the opportunity to experience it, furthering the goals of providing learning and personal growth through the Arts to all on the Island who wish to have access to it.
IndieFlicks is the UK's monthly film festival, supporting the best up and coming filmmakers from around the world. IndieFlicks is continuously growing, hosting simultaneous screenings in Manchester, London and Sheffield. We also host a repeat screening the following week in Liverpool.

How our monthly festival works…
Our Monthly Festival is a showcase of Short films from around the world, screening 50 minutes of short film in the first half, followed by our selected Feature Short in the second. We also host a Q&A with filmmakers able to attend and talks with local creatives.
At each event, two films will be selected to win either one of our awards:

The Directors Choice Award
Films included in the first half are nominated for our 'The People's Choice Award’; This is evidently voted for our audiences on the night and votes are calculated collectively from all of our venues.
In the second half of the night we host our 'Feature Short', one film no longer than 50 minutes. This is our headliner for the event. This film is awarded, ‘The Directors Choice Award’, one that our Judging panel felt deserves recognition.

We screen the best documentaries from around the world at the Roxie Cinema, the oldest art house theater west of the Mississippi. Many of our titles end up with calendared runs at the Roxie later in the year. We get great press coverage in San Francisco, the second largest film market in the country, plus industry reviews.
San Francisco is a very receptive town for documentaries and our fest has built a passionate following over the past 24 years.

The festival has been given attention in both Swedish and international press and has been supported by the cultural department of Stockholm City and by the Art Grant Committee in Sweden.
