Terror Film Festival was founded by filmmakers and screenwriters, and we know how difficult the road to success can be. That’s why we screen short films during the festival, but not the feature films. We only screen the feature film "trailers". The reason being that the integrity of your feature film must be kept intact if you expect to get a distribution deal. This way, your project can still be reviewed, you can still compete in the Claw Awards competition, and you can still have the opportunity to sell your film to fans during the festival. But, you do not suffer any interference with any distribution deal offers! Plus, All films and screenplays are reviewed by our selections committee, and all selected films and screenplays then become nominated for the coveted Claw Awards. Who knows, perhaps YOU will win the next Claw Award!

LUSCA Film Fest (ex Puerto Rico Horror Film Fest) è uno dei più importanti festival cinematografici dell'America Latina. LUSCA è aperta al pubblico. Partecipano anche stampa accreditata nazionale e internazionale, così come acquirenti e distributori televisivi e cinematografici.
Oltre a presentare i migliori film di genere che il cinema indie ha da offrire, questo festival esotico ospita anche una serie di eventi speciali, tra cui una mostra di opere d'arte Bizarre, Concorsi Cosplay, Cinema Arcade ed Eventi musicali.
Il San Pedro International Film Festival è stato fondato per celebrare la diversità della cultura e della comunità di San Pedro con un ampio spettro di film indipendenti, documentari e cortometraggi. Nel 2015 abbiamo festeggiato il 20° anniversario di The Usual Suspects con il regista Bryan Singer. Abbiamo anche avuto due cortometraggi o vincere o essere nominati per un Oscar! Nel 2017 abbiamo ospitato il 30° Anniversario di venerdì 13 con il regista Sean S. Cunningham. Siamo molto entusiasti del nostro settimo anno!
Il prolifico scrittore e poeta americano Charles Bukowski ha chiamato San Pedro casa per 15 anni. Alcuni dei primi cortometraggi di DW Griffith sono stati girati a San Pedro. Al giorno d'oggi è più probabile trovare troupe cinematografiche per NCIS, Mad Men e Dexter. Altri film girati a San Pedro includono 'King Kong', 'Chinatown', 'Point Break', 'Silence of the Lambs', 'The usual Suspects', 'Pearl Harbor', 'Titanic', '500 Days of Summer', e una tonnellata di più. SPIFF è entusiasta di presentare la nostra 5a edizione in una città con una storia cinematografica così ricca.

The Southampton International Film Festival is a unique event where all filmmakers and film lovers can be treated like Hollywood Royalty. When it comes to Independent Films, We have had many successful years in the industry.
We have been a part of independent film distribution, independent movie making and the management of other International Film Festivals, we started in 2009, we currently have over 40 films in the market and have helped run five other film festivals.
Every year many of our participants and visitors tell us that highlight of the event is the socialising VIP dinner held on the first day of the festival, the VIP evening events held every evening and of course our Awards night.
We also give budding new producers and directors the chance to get some funding towards their next movie.
Complementing the excitement of seeing and meeting the
independent movie makers and their films at the festival. We have
our educational programs, ‘Pitch and Toss’ and talks from people
in the industry. This program allows us to share with members
and visitors the skills, joys and pitfalls in the success of bringing
your vision to the silver screen.
We are able to provide our guests with a taste of what even the biggest movie makers experienced as they tried to introduce their films into the world. Telling their story has been a vital part of the success of our festivals.

Cominciamo da quì, da “the dark side of movies”, ispirato al leggendario album dei Pink Floyd. Cominciamo da quel dark side, che a occhio nudo non si vede, misterioso, opposto, un dark side in cui i confini sono labili e le sfumature infinite, dove nulla è certo, sicuro, preciso, pre-determinato.
Non visibile più che invisibile, che sta sotto la superficie, o altrove, che non semplifica, anzi, rimanda a significati più profondi, che, attraverso il cinema e le sue declinazioni, non è mai conciliante, ma che, al contrario, crea domande e porta a riflettere più in profondità sul significato di quanto vediamo, ascoltiamo, percepiamo.
Il lato oscuro, se si guarda bene, è ovunque. È nelle fiabe dei Fratelli Grimm, come nelle visioni fantastiche e apocalittiche di Fritz Lang, è negli archetipi narrati da Stephen King come lo è nelle immagini indimenticabili di Stanley Kubrick, è nei Poemi di Omero come lo è nell’epopea del Signore degli Anelli di Peter Jackson. Dalle Sacre Scritture a Game of Thrones, il lato oscuro è il volano che muove ogni forma d’arte e Ravenna Nighmare Film Fest ne è l’icona cinematografica.

FKM, Fantastic Film Festival di La Coruña, è un Festival specializzato in film horror, fantasy e fantascienza. Con sede nella città georgiana di Birr, Offline Film Festival è un evento entusiasmante per gli amanti del cinema e per i registi. Con i film irlandesi e internazionali proiettati in una serie stravagante di locali della città, tutti preceduti da cortometraggi, il pubblico ha l'imbarazzo della scelta.

Il Mix Brasil Festival è un evento culturale annuale con un focus sui film legati alla sessualità nelle sue varie forme espressive.
Nel 2020, un pubblico stimato di 176k persone ha partecipato alle proiezioni, spettacoli teatrali e musicali, conferenze e dibattiti promossi nella 28a edizione annuale del festival.
Il Mix Brasil si terrà a novembre presso i prestigiosi cinema di San Paolo e sfrutta appieno la diversità della città per ospitare una varietà di eventi innovativi. Dopo San Paolo, i tour Mix Brasil hanno ridotto i programmi ad altre città brasiliane.
L'evento è realizzato da Associação Cultural Mix Brasil, un'organizzazione senza scopo di lucro che cerca di promuovere la libertà di espressione della diversità sessuale guardando modi nuovi e diversi che questo si ottiene.

Giunto al suo 24° anno, il 24fps International Short Film Festival si è guadagnato una reputazione per aver presentato alcuni dei programmi espositivi più unici e stimolanti del circuito del festival.
La missione di 24fps è quella di celebrare e incoraggiare studenti e registi indipendenti. I programmi di proiezione pubblica del festival sono progettati per evidenziare il creatore tanto quanto il lavoro stesso. Tutti i film esposti sono presentati da un commentatore e i cineasti presenti hanno l'opportunità di parlare al pubblico del festival alla fine della mostra del loro film.
I film sono esposti come parte tre programmi curati. Tutti i film sono proiettati nella sede espositiva del festival, il famoso Paramount Theatre, che è elencato nel Registro Nazionale dei luoghi storici degli Stati Uniti.

Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.
