Nous recherchons des films censurés, interdits ou dont le développement, la production et/ou la diffusion ont été entravés pour des raisons politiques, sociales, corporatives, religieuses ou autres, partout dans le monde au cours des deux dernières années.
Le Censurados Film Festival est un festival international de films qui présente et promeut « les films qu'ils ne veulent pas que vous voyiez ». Fondé au Pérou et fort de plus de douze ans d'expérience, le festival s'est imposé comme une plateforme clé pour la défense de la liberté d'expression, des droits humains et de la diversité culturelle par le biais du cinéma.
Dans un contexte mondial où la censure continue d'affecter les artistes, les cinéastes et le public, le festival crée un espace de rencontre, de réflexion et de dialogue autour des nombreuses formes de censure qui façonnent les pratiques artistiques contemporaines.
La 12e édition du festival aura lieu du 9 au 12 octobre 2026 à Caldes d'Estrac (Barcelone), où, pendant quatre jours, des lieux culturels et des espaces publics accueilleront des projections, des débats, des masterclasses et des activités éducatives, faisant de la ville un point de rencontre pour les cinéastes, les professionnels de l'industrie et le public.
La sélection officielle comprend deux concours internationaux qui abordent la censure sous différents angles :
CONCOURS DE CENSURE
Cette section est dédiée aux films censurés, interdits ou confrontés à des obstacles, à des pressions, à des menaces ou à toute forme de violence affectant leur développement ou leur diffusion.
Les films de tous genres (fiction, documentaire, animation ou expérimental) de n'importe où dans le monde peuvent participer, à condition qu'ils aient fait l'objet de censure ou d'ingérence à n'importe quel stade du processus de réalisation, depuis la recherche et le développement du concept, en passant par l'écriture, la production, le tournage et la post-production, jusqu'à leur exposition, leur distribution ou leur diffusion publique.
Les candidats doivent fournir des informations vérifiables démontrant la situation de censure, de pression, de menace ou de conflit qui a affecté le travail.

Cette section est dédiée aux films qui explorent la censure en tant que thème d'un point de vue narratif, artistique ou documentaire.
Les films du monde entier peuvent participer s'ils dépeignent, dénoncent ou réfléchissent à des situations de censure au cinéma ou dans tout autre domaine artistique, ainsi qu'aux tensions entre création, pouvoir et liberté d'expression.

Le festival du film Dada Saheb Phalke est un festival à but non lucratif, non commercial et le seul festival de films indépendants d'Inde, créé en 2011 à Delhi NCR avec pour mission de célébrer le cinéma et le travail de cinéastes en herbe, jeunes, indépendants et professionnels. Le festival est important pour l'industrie cinématographique indienne car il est organisé le 30 avril de chaque année pour marquer l'anniversaire de naissance de Late.Shri. Dhundiraj Govind Phalke, considéré comme le père du cinéma indien et considéré comme Dada Saheb Phalke par la fraternité cinématographique indienne et mondiale. Son objectif est de reconnaître le cinéma new age éclairant, divertissant et progressif des jeunes cinéastes expérimentés.
Au cours des dernières années, le festival a acquis une réputation et est considéré comme l'un des festivals les plus prestigieux de l'Inde. Le festival grandit au fil des ans et attire des cinéastes de toute l'Inde et de plus de 110 pays à travers le monde. Le 16e festival du film Dada Saheb Phalke 2026 vise à célébrer l'excellence du cinéma.
