Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

El LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) es el primer escaparate de experimentación en medios basados en cine, video y audio de Los Ángeles. Se centra en el cine vanguardista, art-house, independiente y de bajo presupuesto, con la quinta edición que tendrá lugar en julio de 2020, en Los Ángeles.
Nuestro programa ofrece un lugar para que los cineastas reinventen y exploren nuevos enfoques, fomenten nuevas formas de arte mediático y construyan una audiencia para este tipo de trabajo. Nuestro objetivo es presentar una amplia gama de trabajos explorando las múltiples definiciones e interpretaciones del concepto de «underground».
Buscamos películas hechas con pasión, obsesión y motivación; películas que vayan más allá de las expectativas y el género; películas, proyectos de vídeo y audio que se esfuercen por superar los límites de la forma y el contenido aceptados. Un fuerte sentido de autoría es una necesidad.

La promotora del FICIAT, Sra. Alvine KOUAMBO, se complace en anunciar la 12ª edición del Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente y Arte Teatral «FICIAT», que se celebrará del 25 al 28 de marzo de 2026 en Bafoussam (Camerún).
Este evento, iniciado por la asociación Screen for the Renewal of African Culture, abreviada como «ERECA», reunirá a actores del cine y el arte teatral de todos los rincones del mundo.
El tema de esta edición es «DEL ESCENARIO A LA PANTALLA: DESPERTAR LA IMAGINACIÓN, CONECTAR A LOS PUEBLOS Y UNIR LAS CULTURAS». Inscripciones para películas y representaciones teatrales que estarán en competencia y fuera de competencia durante el Festival son bienvenidas. Para este festival, se establecerá una gigantesca plataforma llamada. Aquí es donde se concentrarán las principales actividades del Festival. Sobre el FIDBA – Primer Festival Internacional de Cine Documental Competitivo de Buenos Aires
En las últimas décadas, y contemporáneamente a la irrupción de las nuevas tecnologías que han terminado por digitalizar la mayoría de los procesos del cine, el documental ha conocido un crecimiento notorio y sistemático en todo el mundo. En nuestro país, y desde hace ya más de una década, una producción antes ligada casi únicamente a la ficción ha visto engrosar sus filas con nuevos temas, nuevos abordajes, nuevas geografías, nuevos dilemas.
Es en ese marco que FIDBA se propone como el 1er. Festival Internacional de Cine dedicado a este género en el que películas con la misma afición – en tanto creemos que las formas y los haceres del cine documental son diferentes a los de la ficción- podrán encontrarse y dialogar entre ellas y con su público. Si para el FIDBA el documental es un punto de encuentro, lo es en tanto propone una interpelación a las memorias poco reconocidas, los presentes perturbadores y (nuestros) futuros en suspensión. FIDBA será entonces un acercamiento no sólo entre espectadores, cineastas y pensadores ligados al documental sino también con relación a las posibilidades siempre estimulantes que permiten abrir este espacio a otras manifestaciones fronterizas y heterodoxas encuadradas dentro de lo que llamaríamos la “no ficción” y que nos incitan al diálogo para con las expresiones contemporáneas que trascienden incluso el ámbito de lo cinematográfico.
FIDBA prestará especial atención a aquellos cineastas para quienes el cine está ligado a una forma de investigación y conocimiento del mundo que nos rodea como al retrato de seres humanos cuyas condiciones de vida, en contextos históricos y sociales determinados, permiten interrogarnos sobre las nuestras. Se trata, por eso, de autores que no solo reflexionan sobre la realidad sino también sobre la relación ética y moral que implica filmar al otro.
FIDBA aspira a convertirse en un punto de apoyo para cineastas que buscan ensanchar la percepción de la realidad y para películas que suponen un paso adelante en el esfuerzo por comprenderla y por anticiparse a ella. Así, hará foco sobre films cuya originalidad estética ponga en riesgo no solo una idea del documental sino también un pensamiento sobre el cine mismo y sus posibilidades. Ya que esa focalización supone interrogar el status de lo real frente a la cámara o del film en relación a la realidad, en tanto ésta es inseparable de las mediaciones a partir de las que se presenta.
Cine en Grande nace en el año 2014 con el propósito de acercar la cinematografía argentina a la isla de Tierra del Fuego, generar encuentros entre profesionales y fomentar la industria audiovisual en la región.
Año tras año, se ha ido consolidando como un espacio clave para exhibir el contenido producido en la región y como encuentro entre los distintos profesionales del país.
Entre los años 2020 y 2022 el festival se vió interrumpido por la propagación del COVID-19 (Coronavirus) y este año retoma sus actividades presenciales.

Located in Stowe, Vermont, The Scout Film Festival (Scout) is an annual international event that celebrates emerging filmmakers through short film.
Every year, over the course of three days, this unique Vermont event celebrates emerging filmmakers worldwide. Scout honors the passions, talents and accomplishments of youth by showcasing the efforts young storytellers have made in original filmmaking. Scout is an event to enjoy the art of film and storytelling through the lens of our energetic next generation.
During Scout Film Festival budding filmmakers will come together with their peers and industry professionals to share, appreciate and hone their craft. Through Scout, they will find a place where their creativity, curiosity, viewpoints, diversity and belief in self are championed. Lanzado en 1980, nuestro festival, el primero de su categoría en Corea del Sur, ha crecido y evolucionado desde el Festival de Cortometrajes de Corea hasta convertirse en el Festival de Cortometrajes Asiáticos de Busan en 2000 y, finalmente, en el Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Busan en 2010 (www.bisff.org).
El BISFF, que tendrá lugar a finales de abril en el Busan Cinema Center, entregará una docena de premios en tres secciones competitivas (Competición Internacional, Competencia Coreana y Operation Kino), además de presentar varias secciones comisariadas y no competitivas, entre las que se incluyen: Guest Country, Korean Shorts, Asian Shorts, Prism, 3D Cinema, etc.
BISFF es miembro de la Short Film Conference (http://shortfilmconference.com/) y de la NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asia Pacific Cinema https://netpacasia.org). En 2018, se convirtió en el primer festival surcoreano que se clasificó para un Óscar®.
Buscamos películas que hayan sido censuradas, prohibidas o que hayan encontrado barreras para ser difundidas por motivos políticos, sociales, corporativos, religiosos, entre otros, en cualquier parte del mundo y durante los dos últimos años.
Censurados Film Festival es un festival de cine que difunde y visibiliza “el cine que no quieren que veas”. Con sede en el Perú, el festival apuesta por la libertad de expresión, los derechos humanos y la diversidad a través de la proyección de películas y la organización de actividades artísticas y educativas.
CATEGORÍAS
1. Competencia Internacional “Censura”. Películas de ficción, documental, animación y/o experimentación cinematográfica de cualquier parte del mundo que hayan sido censuradas por presiones o intereses políticos, religiosos, corporativos, autoritarios o sociales, entre otros, o que hayan sido víctimas de amenazas y/o violencia, ya sea durante su investigación, producción o realización como en su posterior exhibición y/o distribución. Es requisito imprescindible aportar información demostrable sobre la censura, amenaza, presión o violencia que ha sufrido la película. Sin límite de duración.
2. Competencia de Cortometrajes “Cortos sin Corte”. Películas de ficción, documental, animación y/o experimentación cinematográfica de cualquier parte del mundo y una duración máxima de 30 minutos que reivindiquen la libertad de pensamiento y expresión sin temor a la cancelación, y la acción política y social en asuntos de interés público.
3. Competencia “Voces Peruanas”. Películas de ficción, documental, animación y/o experimentación cinematográfica de Perú que permitan que las voces disidentes puedan ser escuchadas y hagan reflexionar al espectadora/a sobre temas controvertidos, sobre los que diferentes grupos han construido argumentos aparentemente irreconciliables, con el fin de crear un espacio de diálogo abierto y alturado sobre los mismos.
Sin límite de duración.
Las temporadas 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 y 8 del Festival Internacional de Cine de Chambal fueron un gran éxito.
En la primera temporada, se presentaron 316 películas de 28 países y se seleccionaron 160 películas para su proyección. La película oficial de la India a los premios de la Academia, «Harishchandrachi Factory» (2009), también se proyectó con especial atención en la primera temporada.
En la segunda temporada, se presentaron 492 películas de 35 países y se seleccionaron 243 películas para su proyección. La película oficial de la India a los premios de la Academia, 'Court' (2015), también se proyectó con especial atención en la segunda temporada.
En la tercera temporada, se presentaron 604 películas de 40 países y se seleccionaron 398 películas para su proyección. La película oficial de la India a los premios de la Academia, 'Shawas' (2004), también se proyectó con especial atención en la tercera temporada.
En la cuarta temporada, se presentaron 701 películas de 54 países y se seleccionaron 464 películas para su proyección.
En la quinta temporada, se presentaron 809 películas de 63 países y se seleccionaron 494 películas para su proyección.
En la sexta temporada, se presentaron 903 películas de 71 países y se seleccionaron más de 300 películas para su proyección.
En la séptima temporada, se presentaron 1007 películas de 82 países y se seleccionaron más de 250 películas para su proyección. El Honorable Sr. Om Birla Sir, presidente de Loksabha, inauguró la ceremonia de apertura.
En la octava temporada, se presentaron 1104 películas de 93 países y se seleccionaron más de 250 películas para su proyección.

El Festival Internacional de Cine de Chambal, en India, es una plataforma donde los cineastas tendrán la oportunidad de mostrar su talento a un gran público amante del cine. Además, el público tendrá la oportunidad de ver maravillosos cortometrajes, documentales, películas de animación y videos musicales de varios cineastas del mundo. Los honorables miembros del jurado, el Sr. Sayeed Quadri (reconocido letrista), el Sr. Kshitij Tarey (famoso cantante y compositor musical) y el Sr. Ranjan Das (eminente editor y escritor) de la industria cinematográfica india, son nombres reputados. El fallecido Sr. Suresh Naik (director de fotografía con gran experiencia y coordinador de efectos especiales) también formó parte del jurado.
Creado en un espacio único, Bostik Film Fest -Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de la Nau
Bostik- se lleva a cabo en un entorno industrial, un lugar de referencia en Barcelona de eventos y
actividades culturales.
Este año tendrá lugar la 2ª edición del festival, con ella pretendemos acercar el formato del
cortometraje a todos los públicos, no solo a los amantes del cine y los festivales. La próxima edición
se fundirá con actividades propias del espacio en un ambiente festivo en el que se hará referencia al
cine y al mundo del cortometraje.

After last year's big success DELETE TV is again selecting remarkable experimental short films and video art which will be broadcasted on our partner TV-Channel in Austria and several video art platforms in collaboration with the selected artists. Further more, the most eye and mind-bending films will make it to Delete TV Screenings all over Europe.
Delete TV investigates the captivating nature of images with the specific aim to look up to new approaches by taking distance from the conventional film making method.
The program opens a window to the world of art and offers strong, wild and uncensored works from upcoming artists and film-makers. Delete TV highlights contemporary issues in a global context, highly educational and deeply focused on intercultural exchange and visibility.
