Faisant partie d'un réseau mondial de festivals, London Short Series est l'occasion pour les fabricants de séries Web et de contenus numériques de s'unir pendant trois jours pour célébrer la narration en ligne. Le festival offre aux scénaristes numériques une occasion unique de présenter et de participer à des projections originales, à des ateliers de professionnels de l'industrie et plus encore, alors qu'un public international de déménageurs et de shakers numériques s'unissent pour cette occasion unique.
HISTORY:
«BRIDGES» INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL was established in 2008 in the framework of celebrations of 150 years of the foundation of Corinth. It was held Under the Auspices of Ministry of Transport and Communications in Greece and was organized in cooperation with the Cultural Centre of Corinth. It was greeted by the Minister of Transport and Communication, the Mayor of Corinth, the President of the Cultural Centre and the Prefect of Peloponnesus
The program, apart from the screenings of the Panorama, Competition and other sections included also the screening of a selection of short films by Cine Fantom, especially chosen for Peloponnesian Corinthian International Film Festival. «The main Club in Moscow» – this is how the press refers to CINE FANTOM. This is, however, no wonder for the club with the 20 years history. CINE FANTOM Club has been holding screenings every Wednesday for many years, regardless of weather and political conditions. For many years on, the club has managed to stick to such a weekly format. CINE FANTOM, however has also its own festival, SELECTION, a unique event which aims at promotion and development of young cinema.
The 2nd edition of the festival took place in 2011. On 2009 and 2010 it was cancelled due to national elections that occurred the same period. The opening of the 2nd festival was scheduled on October 14th 2009 with the presence and a live concert by the famous actor of Hollywood, Kevin Costner with his music band Modern West! Unfortunately, the national elections were announced on the 6th of September to be held on the 10th of October and the festival was cancelled. Within the framework of its annual organization Bridges International Film Festival, carries on its close partnership with local authorities and other organizations, willing to provide to such an important aspect of our lives, culture, which is weakened through these hard times we are going through. During the same event, excursions to archeological sites, cruises in Canal of Isthmus and a film poster exhibition took place.
PROGRAMME:
In order to be able to accommodate the needs of the vast number of cinephiles and cinemagoers of Greece, which has proved to be big and varied during past organizations, this year`s festival edition has created Special theme screenings as the «World Cinema – Bridges» section. As the BRIDGES International Film festival concurs often with the International Day of People with Disability, a part of our screenings is dedicated to films about human disabilities, under the symbolic title «We can do». Furthermore, the audience will have the unique opportunity to watch films by upcoming filmmakers premiering in the festival. Some of the most outstanding feature films created recently are going to compete for the festival`s Grand Prize «Golden Pegasus», which is going to be given to the film indicated by an internationally acclaimed Jury of cinema professionals.

Le phénomène de la civilisation russe, incommensurable par le « critère commun », à la fin du premier quart du XXIe siècle reprend sa pertinence, tant dans le monde qu'en Russie.
Le mot « russe » dans la compréhension des organisateurs du festival du film ne définit pas la nationalité, mais l'appartenance civilisationnelle et idéologique - au monde multinational russe.
Une personne russe diffère d'une personne « occidentale ». Une personne russe peut commettre des actes illogiques et « non rentables » - du point de vue des représentants de la civilisation occidentale : au détriment de lui-même, mais au nom de la justice. Après tout, pour une personne russe - si elle est en bonne conscience et en toute équité, cela est à la fois logique et bénéfique.
Aujourd'hui, lorsque le monde entier est confronté à des défis mondiaux - technologiques, sociaux, économiques, spirituels et idéologiques -, nous essayons de nouveau de trouver une source de force dans ces valeurs immatérielles qui ont donné un avantage au monde russe au cours des siècles.
L'expérience de la tenue du Festival du film russe en 2017-2020 a découvert un réel intérêt des cinéastes des régions de Russie et d'autres pays pour comprendre le thème inépuisable de la « mystérieuse âme russe ». Cela est particulièrement vrai pour les jeunes représentants du cinéma d'auteur en Russie, pour qui le Festival du film russe est devenu un lieu de rencontre à la fois avec des collègues et des cinéphiles reconnaissants.
Le Festival du film russe est en train de devenir un espace créatif public où il existe un processus animé de formation d'une communauté de personnes partageant les mêmes idées qui reflètent consciemment dans leur travail les valeurs spirituelles et morales de la civilisation russe.
EDITA est un festival de courts métrages qui vise à transformer la société par le biais de la création audiovisuelle, à encourager la pensée critique, à impliquer les citoyens dans la promotion des droits et à faire en sorte que les spectateurs se sentent vus et motivés à poursuivre un changement social.
À travers ce festival, l'ASAD vise à découvrir et à partager de nouveaux imaginaires sociaux, à changer de point de vue et à se rapprocher de propositions non hégémonétiques évoquant la justice sociale, les droits humains, l'équité entre les sexes et la durabilité environnementale
Le Festival du film de Saragosse, fondé en 1995 pour créer une activité cinématographique dans la ville. Au début, son titre principal était les Young Filmmakers. Depuis 2007, son nom officiel est devenu le Festival du film de Saragosse.

Le concours de courts métrages GEH est un concours de courts métrages sur les droits de l'homme organisé dans différentes localités de Gipuzkoa (Pays basque).
Ce concours fait partie du projet mondial de défense des droits humains Giza Eskubideak Herrira (Bringing human rights to the people.). Le GEH est un projet de sensibilisation aux droits humains créé par la coopérative dar-dar Productions en 2015. Les premières éditions étaient basées à Ordizia. En 2023, le festival s'est développé et s'est étendu à plusieurs villes de Gipuzkoa (Euskal Herria).
L'objectif principal de ce concours est de sensibiliser et d'éduquer aux droits de l'homme.
Parce que ce concours de courts métrages est une fenêtre que nous ouvrons sur le monde, et à partir de cette fenêtre, nous pouvons voir les différentes réalités dans lesquelles vivent les gens dans différentes parties de la planète. Au vu de ces réalités, nous avons l'intention d'encourager la réflexion sur les violations des droits de l'homme dans différentes régions du monde.

The people who get accepted into the big festivals are so rarely the little guy/girl, and it's basically a circle jerk of only those who have a big name or star attached getting in.
You hate that, and I hate that. That's why this this is built by filmmakers, in fact, we just completed our first feature which premiered at TIFF Lightbox last year.
We don't discriminate in genre, in length, in anything asides from "How good is your god damned film?"

The festival has been given attention in both Swedish and international press and has been supported by the cultural department of Stockholm City and by the Art Grant Committee in Sweden.
