A Ajayu Film Association, em coprodução com a Sapa Inti Estudios, convida cineastas nacionais e internacionais a participarem do 10º Festival Internacional de Animação de Ajayu, que será realizado de 26 a 29 de novembro de 2025, em Puno, Perú.
Desde sua fundação, Ajayu se estabeleceu como um dos festivais peruanos dedicados exclusivamente ao cinema de animação e como uma plataforma essencial para a formação, circulação e visibilidade do cinema de animação dos territórios andinos do sul. Neste décimo aniversário, o festival reafirma seu compromisso com a descentralização cultural, promovendo uma indústria audiovisual diversificada e acessível com identidade própria.
O tema central desta edição é “Histórias que narram a paz”, um eixo curatorial que guiará parte da programação geral e será desenvolvido em uma seção especial. No entanto, esse tema não condiciona a participação, pois a chamada para inscrições está aberta a obras animadas de qualquer tema.
Ajayu continua sendo um espaço de encontro, exposição e reflexão sobre a animação como linguagem artística e meio de transformação social. As obras selecionadas farão parte da exposição oficial do festival e serão parte ativa de um processo curatorial que celebra dez anos de história.
Experimental Forum is an international performance, film and video art festival showcasing experimental film and artists’ moving image from new directors and innovative video artists from around the globe, with the third edition taking place in Los Angeles in November 2018. Our aim is to provide a supportive platform for the exciting and challenging work that is outside the scope of mainstream film festivals and art galleries.
We welcome experimental cinema pieces (abstract, narrative or documentary), video art works, essay films, artists’ moving image and media art, as well as documentary and narrative films that seek to expand, redefine or reconfigure the means and ends of their respective fields. Experimental Forum exists to provide access to, and develop audiences for, artists’ moving image work and is committed to engaging local audiences with new and/or unheard voices in film.
We are particularly interested in works made by early stage filmmakers and artists whose work is underrepresented. We provide a collaborative platform for moving image works made for the gallery and for the cinema with the aim of building a community across disciplinary and institutional faultlines.

LA Underground Film Forum (LAUFF) é a principal vitrine de experimentação em filmes, vídeo e mídia baseada em áudio. Ele se concentra em vanguarda, art-house, cinema independente e nen/baixo orçamento, com a quinta edição acontecendo em julho de 2020, Los Angeles.

Our mission is to engage the Gulf of Mexico Community through education and film and to showcase the work of local filmmakers. If you have a short film addressing an ocean or coastal issue concerning the Gulf of Mexico, from your own backyard to the deep sea, please think about entering it into our Harte of the Gulf Film Competition.
Films should be no longer than 15 minutes and address an ocean or coastal topic concerning the Gulf of Mexico region. Films can be fiction or nonfiction.
In an effort to include filmmakers from around the entire Gulf of Mexico region, films will be accepted in languages other than English, but must have English subtitles. You can submit your film into one of two categories: High School or General Public.
Make It Short is a two-day short film festival covering a range of topics from all over the world. Through short films we can experience a huge range of subjects and styles, and our festival includes social commentary, humour and animation. Although we are presenting work on certain themes each short film also stands alone.
This is our first Make It Short. As well as adult submissions it will include shorts created by local schoolchildren and students, and by Brazilian children as part of our cultural exchange programme.

Specially selected films have an opportunity to be played in the festival segment called "Films Around Town" (playing in various venues around town) leading up to a weekend event March 1-4, 2018 at St. Norbert College.
This year the festival is focusing on more networking opportunities for filmmakers over the March 1-4 weekend! More events, engagements and seminars all within walking distance of the St. Norbert college venues. The Great Lakes International Shorts Festival has officially opened its Call for Entries and is now accepting films of all short lengths and genres including Narrative, Animation, Experimental, and all forms of Horror, Suspense, Sci-Fi, and Thriller films, along with Comedies, Religious/Spiritual, Music Videos, and Documentaries, and GLBT films, for the 2019 season.
The 2019 Great Lakes International Shorts Festival shall accept Music Videos from around the world of cross-continent and cross-genre productions.
